Bueno! Bella, mercy me, that's a good pizza. A bit pricey, but excellent. I have had the Umberto and the Porta Via pizzas. The former is my favorite. The Insalada Grand is simply marvelous, just wonderful, even if you're more of the meat and potatoes kind of persuasion. I haven't ventured deeper into the menu, sorry. Maybe next time?

Wings (my favorite) will take your mouth to heaven! BBQ is great too. Beware of football sized stuffed potatoes. They are large and in charge, delicious. Lots of choices. Great food from a chain started in Birmingham, my old stomping grounds. I'm glad they made it up to Nashville.

Don't eat here. The "GF" wings are cooked in the same oil as their breaded products: cross-contamination. We talked to the manager and found out we could eat the cole slaw and have a drink (not regular beer of course). We left without eating there.

Really gone down hill recently. And this from a guy who first loved Five Guys in Charlottesville. Meat quality has declined. Fries weren't even good last time I went. The fries were cool, limp, short and had blemishes. We had to ask for aluminum pans in which to cut our burgers. They don't do wraps any more. It's more like a burger salad. I love their Coke machine, but not enough to compensate for everything else.

Website sucks. Only one thing, a dessert, marked GF on the menu online. Hate when that happens.

They would get 5 stars except that their beef is not good enough to get top marks. The GF buns are absolutely great. Red Robin's will even sell their buns separately. Bottomless frech fries are marvelous, just marvelous. They will even cook you a batch without salt (in case you are watching your sodium intake). Heinz mustard available on request.

Better than average on taste and texture. A bit expensive. Atmosphere is lacking due to "rock concert level audio stimulation" blaring all the time. One must yell to be heard by adjacent table mates. Beyond that distance, conversation is only possible if you know sign language.

Somewhat limited selection. Wish they would go ahead and get a separate frying bin for their fries.

Much improved in catering to the celiac and gluten intolerant. The hash brown casserole is not listed as GF, but my wife orders it repeatedly and has never suffered for it. Their steaks are surprisingly good. I also love their double meat breakfast. Hold the biscuits and corn bread! Decaf coffee (real perked) is good too. Beware of the gift $hop.

Just another stop along the road looking for a truly good GF pizza. Disappointed yet again, my search, no quest, continues. Crust isn't worthy. Toppings better that average. Ask for extra sauce. Neither of us got sick.

If you want an Udi's crust on your pizza, buy one at the grocery store and bake it at home. The crust was very over-cooked, all but inedible. It was hard to find any sauce. The cheese was scant. We even ordered a second time, giving the Hut the benefit of the doubt. But Pizza Hut's GF offering was consistently horrible, a burnt offering. At least I didn't get sick.

Their website says, "Due to the risk of cross-contamination, Pie Five DOES NOT recommend this pizza for customers with celiac disease or gluten allergies." (CAPS in original at http://www.piefivepizza.com/menu/) Think I will heed their warning because I get really sick when I eat even tiny amounts of gluten.

Had the "Our Lady of the Perpetual Avocados" salad with chicken. Pretty good stuff. The Panini my friend had looked marvelous. His fresh broccoli salad was good too. I had to decline the pastries and deserts to keep my blood sugar down, but I was sorely tempted. Bought some tomatoes from the farmer in the front yard. They were hard to find after they moved, but I'm glad I know where they are again. They are open 11:00 to 2:30. Try them at 615-452-4877 at 210 Douglas Bend, Gallatin, TN 37066. Here is a place where you have to specifically ask for the one item they sell that is not GF.
