Son diagnosed with celiac. I went gf to support him and found my lifelong battle with anemia, joint pain and other issues disappear! So, through my sons diagnosis I was eventually able to be diagnosed!

Nice lunch here. Some of the same menu items as Toast, but enough different items to make it worth the trip. As with Toast, they make their own ketchup and it's my favorite. I order the fries solely as a ketchup delivery item! Looking forward to coming back

My daughter and I first discovered her at the Brandermill Green Market a few years ago. Now she has her own shop and has expanded to include gf items! While it's not a dedicated gf facility she is very careful and she packages her gf cupcakes in individual cupcake containers so as to ensure no cross contamination from her regular cupcakes. Her stuff is amazing! This week she special ordered gf eclairs from her. Even my sons non gf friends thought they were the best eclairs they have ever had! So grateful for her and her yummy cakes and pastries! She doesn't always have gf on hand but she takes orders! She has a hard time keeping her gf items in stock!

Got the menu in my mailbox the other day and had ignored it as I'm not used to finding gf Chinese food that's not from PF Changs or Pei Wei. Then I saw it was on here. Decided to give it a shot. Not too many options but that's okay. We ordered the honey chicken, Thai curry beef, Singapore Mei Fun and pineapple fried rice. The rice wasn't the best I've had but everything else was fantastic, especially the chicken and the noodles. And the best part was ZERO signs of being glutened at ALL! So happy to have a place we can order from!

My son had eaten here several times with my ex and his family and never gotten sick. I took him myself last night. No dedicated menu or allergen list, however they seemed knowledgable and very accommodating. We got the Chorizo Fondito and it was amazing. The nachos are also gluten free. I got the combo dinner with the chili relleno, taco and enchilada. All were delicious. My son got a taco. Loved it. They also have all natural homemade ice cream made in house. They gave my son a dish of chocolate and he devoured it. We will go back!

Dedicated gluten free spot located inside Via Port Mall in Leesburg, Florida. She does made-to-order sandwiches and pizzas. She also sells a variety of baked goods from breads to sticky buns to cookies. You can also pick up some almond flour or other items for your own home baking.

My friend took me here for a birthday dinner. First off, I love a place that prominently features its Gf menu on its website. And their menu looked amazing. The place is pretty and if you are a wine enthusiast you will love it! As I was driving I didn't partake of any of that but my friend got a glass of their passion fruit wine and it smelled heavenly.Several appetizers. I didn't get to try any this trip but they sound good and I will be returning at some point. My food was good. Not "write-home crazy fantastic" but a good meal. And I didn't get sick at all. They even offer GF desserts

I enjoyed my meal here! Lots of great options for celiacs! Their tomato soup is incredible AND they make their own ketchup! I would have bought a bottle to bring home were they available! It gets crowded and people are loathe to leave so plan accordingly!

Aside from being ridiculously expensive we love this place! They accommodate celiacs and have great options. I didn't feel like I was missing anything. We've eaten at other locations, too, with the same positive experience.

Took my kids here for their birthday dinner. We had a large group and only two found were gf but the service we got was amazing. Good was delicious! From the lettuce wraps to the entrees! We even made sure to speak with a manager about how positive the experience was when we left. Best of all, neither my son nor I got ill!

We've eaten at this location as well as the one down in Shockoe Slip. Not an extensive menu but everything is prepared fresh and many items can be made gluten free. They also have gluten free items available in their market. One thing is grilled cheese toasts up much nicer on gluten free bread! 😉a bit pricey for what you get, however.

Fries are gf, as are the wings. It's nice to eat wings again! My son is a huge fan of the Glory wings. The cheese fries can also be made gf, just ask them to use real bacon instead of the bacon bits! Burgers are good. We eat here quite often and have never gotten sick.

Went with my family after being told what a great gf menu they have. On first glance the Gluten Free menu does look great! Belgian fries? Yes, please! "Um, do you have celiac or just don't eat gluten," my waiter, Stephen wanted to know, "because none of the fries are recommended for real celiacs because we use the same fryers for breaded stuff...."! Yet, here they are, listed under the appetizer section of the special Gluten Free menu! I shared this info with a friend via text, and it dawned on her she ate the fries Friday night and had been having signs of being "glutened" all weekend but wasn't sure where the offense had occurred. Apparently her server wasn't keen enough to share the whole non-dedicated fryer situation with her. When I learned that I should have just left, but no...we went forward and ordered some gf burgers , no sides, confident our your waiter was commuted to ensuring our meal would be safe. After all, he did recognize we couldn't have the fries, right? Well, I don't know if it was the bun, sauce, or exactly what component of the meal it is they made my son sick, but he definitely got glutened. Suffice it to say I am with previous reviewers and can NOT recommend this as a safe place for anyone with celiac to eat.

I wanted to like this place. Really, I did. We went on a Monday. Place was half empty yet it still took over an hour and a half to get out entrees, 45 minutes to get appetizers, etc. son ordered gf spaghetti...they brought penne. Waiter then said penne was the only gf option. Half the items on the gf menu no longer available as they have a "new"menu. Seafood platter was terrible. Chicken Marsala had way way too much pepper. Didn't even taste like Marsala! My non gf son liked his chicken parm. Waiter claimed cook was not acting right so "something must be going on with him". What does that even mean? He then said, "I wish I could give you a discount, but...." 85 dollars and a crappy meal. My son joked they they charged us for the wait. Never ever will we return.

We started with the gluten free Montanarine (their lightly fried dough topped with their sauce). Incredible! For main course we enjoyed the Montanara Starita and Margherita. Equally incredible! We ended up ordering a Margherita with Salami as well. Best pizza we have ever had, even before going gluten free! Keste was our favorite before, but now it's Don Antonio!

Loved this place. Amazing food. So why two stars? The gluten free bakery items are in the same case as the ones full of gluten, and often right next to them! We had never had an issue before, so I guess we were playing the celiac version of Russian roulette...went there tonight and ordered a gluten free creme brûlée...somehow between ordering and receiving it got cross contaminated and it made my son extremely ill. The brulees are prepped in the back, so I don't know exactly how the cross contamination happened, but if they have the gluten/gluten free items in such close proximity in their bakery case there is no reason to assume it's any safer in the kitchen. Very sad that we can no longer consider this a "safe" place to dine.

I saw the other reviews were a year old and know a lot of progress has been made in education and understanding of Celiac and gluten in that time. So, we called and after asking a few questions I felt confident to give it a try. So glad we did! The food was AMAZING! No burger BUN this time, but gf bread, toasted. I did not miss the bum. The quality of the product nestled between those toasty slices was so good! They also offer vegan and gf dessert, waffles, French toast, etc! We will be going back soon for brunch! Son, who is very sensitive to gluten, had no issues at all! ****UPDATE**** Came back. They had real GF buns this time (brand are RUDIs). We all had different burgers and they were amazing. My celiac son had the "Piggyback" that has BBQ on it. He loved it and was NOT glutened. We are definitely fans and will be back anytime we come to this area of Brooklyn!

We ordered the pizzas. The toppings were amazing. The crust was not homemade, but rather a manufactured frozen gf crust. It fell apart as we ate it. It was delicious, but if you want real wood fire grilled pizza, travel to Keste over in the village area...they do a homemade traditional crust and L'isola is a wanna be in comparison

Low ez listening music playing, happy conversations. Definitely not loud or obnoxious. Seated promptly, and had excellent service. Loads of GF options! I had the Lomo Sal Tado...delicious! My young son had the lemon chicken and my older had the lunch special of a burger with corn chowder. Everything was raved over and sampled between us. I came in with a groupon but will come back for the delicious food!

I went based on others recommendations on this app. First off, they do have an extensive menu of GF items. My food, however, was not the best. The sauce for my eggplant parm tasted like ketchup. The eggplant itself was good, however, and almost made up for it. My daughters gf piZa had a pool of grease that made her dinner most unappetiIng. the price (125 for 4 entrees and two appetizers, no alcohol) was a bit steep for the quality. And our service was spotty. I would rather a smaller menu with better quality.

A large variety of GF vegan treats: brownies, cookies, cupcakes....also had gf penne Mac and cheese, gf pizza and a broccoli cheese quiche when we were there. We enjoyed everything! My younger son particularly enjoyed his giant chipwhich! Says that same equipment is used for non gf items but that they are thoroughly washed between and cooked on different days. My son did not have a reaction so I feel comfortable saying that it is a good option for most all.

  • Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

    3 starsApril 27, 2014

11448 Belvedere Vista Ln, Richmond, VA 23235

Food was good, but be forewarned: Firebirds does NOT produce a gluten free LUNCH menu - they provide only a standard dinner menu. Not a big deal, you might think, except that if you compare the items from the GF menu, to a typical LUNCH menu there are HUGE discrepancies. For example: the GF menu offers "Baby Back Ribs Java BBQ Sauce, steak fries, cider slaw 24.25" now, this SAME item is on the standard NON gf LUNCH menu : "Baby Back Ribs Java BBQ Sauce, steak fries, cider slaw 13.25" No notation about different portion sizes, sec. SAME DESCRIPTION, word for word. The GF menu offers sirloins, too, but the NON gf menu offers multiple size options ( 7 oz, 9 oz, etc) and as expected, those are lower in price. After bringing it to the attention of the management at this location I as able to order the smaller lunch portion sirloin GF, for the same price as the lunch portion on the standard menu. I was glad, but how many diners have paid a significant amount MORE just because they have celiac and ordered off a standard GF menu at lunch time? (a side note: I am also a bit concerned that the steak fries are on the GF menu with the ribs, but are NOT on the list of sides available? Are the GF or not????) SO, dine here - I ended up with a nice meal and no evidence of being "glutened", but make sure if you are there for lunch, you compare and get the right price. Just be vigilant.

We enjoyed our meal here. I can see why there is usually a line! Not many tables and pretty much all is communal dining, so you might get closer to fellow diners than at other spots! We did not mind that, however! The gf breadsticks were lovely. My Son got the pizzette and enjoyed it while I got the mushroom/truffle risotto. It was quite good and had strong truffle flavor. We did not try dessert this time, but it looked good... Gf eclairs!

We have gone here twice so far and will definitely be back. My son loves the classic Friedman burger with the fries. I really loved the GF fried chicken and cheddar waffle on the weekend brunch menu. Well, at least what I got to taste of it before my child stole it and scarfed it down! :)

If you are craving over prices burgers and fries, this is the place for you! $98 for 4 burgers, 5 shakes and two baskets of fries. Sadly the Greek style lamb burger I ordered was dwarfed by the large gf tapioca bun. It was the size of a slider party on a regular bun. Really disappointed by the service, too. No one got glutened, which is the only mice thing I can say.

We got them to deliver to our hotel in Queens, just outside of Greenpoint. Such deliciousness! My celiac child raves still about his gf Bensonhurst. My daughter enjoyed the Park Slope, sans onions. My older son went traditional with the King County. I went for the gf Bay Ridge. We shared a gf Carroll Gardens and I swear it tasted like a traditional baked Brie served with apples! No signs of being glutened and enjoyed by all!

If I could I would have given zero stars as my son and I both got glutened! Nothing worse than watching your son writhe in agony due to someone else's carelessness. We ordered from the GF menu and stressed the celiac issues. We might as well have been speaking in gibberish🌟🌟 On 3/28/14 the manager of this location called me to discuss my concerns. After our conversation, which included a lot of apologies and assurances that he is going to get his staff together, I feel confident that the concerns are going to be addressed. He was awesome. We will give them another shot and report back.

Love walking into a bakery and getting that delicious smell and boy, does Fallon's Gluten Free give you that smell! It is sheer heaven! Our last trip by we got some delicious cookies, cupcakes, meatballs, and my favorites, the St. Joseph's pastry! 700 Plaza Dr, Secaucus, NJ 07094

Was skeptical after reading the one negative review, but being in town on business and having already been glutened at the nearby Outback, we decided to give it a whirl. Card and guy on phone was not very helpful but it seemed like more of a language issue than lack of knowledge. Once he understood my issue he assured me that they had training and options. The manager came out and personally took our order, reviewed it carefully them went back to the kitchen to oversee proper preparation. Let me say, no-one got glutened and everything was delicious! My son got a barbecue cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, I got the all-American burger with a gluten-free bun and my non-celiac older child got a regular burger. Everything was delicious and my son could even eat the french fries! Apparently they are revamping the entire menu and this is why the gluten free menu is no longer visible in the site. The manager (hector, I think?) was exceptional. If we are in town again we WILL go back!
