  • Log Jam Restaurant

    5 starsAugust 23, 2014

    1484 U.S. 9, Lake George, NY 12845

I've eaten at the Log Jam multiple times with no issues, having tried duck, steak and fish of the day. The menu has many items marked as GF and the staff seems to be knowledgeable. Their salad bar has croutons all the way at the end which helps minimize cross contamination.

No GF menu, but they're very accommodating. I had a broiled halibut with baked potato. Nice atmosphere, but not overly fancy.

Had a great omelette with potatoes and gluten free toast. The service was a little slow, so I'd recommend going if you're not in a huge rush.

  • The Common Man

    5 starsAugust 23, 2014

10 Pollard Road, Lincoln, NH 03251

The Common Man has a gluten free menu with a lot of selections. I had a farm truck salad and roast chicken and it was all delicious. Please note that the GF menu on their website is a little out of date, but there are lots of choices. The non-GF members of the group were also very happy.

  • Polly's Pancake Parlor

    672 Rte 117, Sugar Hill, NH 03586

The best GF pancakes and they have a separate section of the grill for them. Polly's is a must-visit place if you're going to be near Franconia Notch State Park.

    925 State Rt 9, Queensbury, NY 12804

I've eaten here a few times with no problems -- getting the chicken on the barbie and the steak with baked potato. You just need to be careful and make sure to ask for your salad with no croutons and mixed separately to avoid cross contamination.

  • Uno Chicago Grill

    4 starsAugust 23, 2014

    880 State Route 9, Queensbury, NY 12804

I've been there a few times, but can't comment on the GF pizza as I've only gotten the herb rubbed chicken with roasted vegetables and brown rice. It's not gourmet, but tastes good and I had no reaction. It's also reasonably priced and the service has been good. My kids love their non-GF make your own pizzas.

This sports bar was family friendly and reasonably priced. The GF chicken tenders were crispy and delicious -- and my gluten eating family also liked them a lot. For my main course I had a steak with fries. Recommended if you're in the Queensbury/Lake George area and aren't looking for anything too fancy.
