210 Andover Street, Peabody, MA 01960
After a few years of avoiding this chain, I was finally forced back because a group of friends wanted to go and I did not want to be the jerk who said no. To my surprise they now have a GF menu which wasn't horrible, except,of course for dessert. Then you get basically a flourless chocolate cake.
1 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02116
The night I went, they had only two desserts and they were not that much of a stretch. One was a cheesecake that really was more like a pudding. There was no crust and it really reminded me more of a jello pudding cheesecake. The other option was ice cream. A bit pricey for what was offered.
89 Charles Street, Boston, MA 02114
So so. Would not go out of my way to eat here again. They are not enthusiastic about accommodation. Boston is big enough and has a lot more places who welcome people with Celiac. So, not missing anything if you skip this one.
94 Wharf Street, Salem, MA 01970
Pretty good. Gluten free options are few, but what I had was very good. I enjoyed the grilled fish soft tacos and a nice cocktail. Something I cannot get at any other restaurant around here. If they expand their options, they will earn more stars.
948 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906
Ugh, too dirty. Nope, passed on this place. They need to do some serious cleaning up and remodeling.
595 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906
Ok, my experience at this Kelly's was much better! Delicious burger. I have not had one like that for such a long time. Probably the only fast food restaurant I have been to in many months. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
214 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915
It's ok. Was disappointed that the pho is not gluten free. It usually is at other Vietnamese restaurants. The stir fry I had was fine. But there was not the variety I was hoping to find.
2 Wilson Road, Nahant, MA 01908
Wine is good, food is average. Not worth the 45 minute wait. And they have no gf dessert. So you get to sit and watch your friends enjoy cheesecake, & apple pie.
39 Pier 39 Concourse #202, San Francisco, CA 94133
Wonderful Dungeness Crab!
347 Geary St, San Francisco, CA 94102
I was a bit concerned because of some negative reviews, but because of time, I had to grab something close to the hotel. I asked for and received a GF menu for breakfast. The atmosphere is very nice and quiet. I had the Cobb omelette. It was too large but very good. Service was friendly and excellent. They seem very knowledgeable and concerned about cross contamination. The down side is there are no carbohydrates except for the fruit. And unfortunately I am also allergic to one of the fruits offered in the fruit salad so I had to get the tomatoes. It gets three stars because, what they fix is very well done. But because a low carbohydrate meal is not that palatable to me, I would probably not go back. But in a pinch, breakfast is a safe option if you do not miss the bread and potatoes.
131 Newbury St, Peabody, MA 01960
Typical accommodation by going without. You get to watch everyone else enjoy their much more interesting meals while you have a salad or broiled fish, or steak tips. Nothing special, just average.
50 State Street, Newburyport, MA 01950
Excellent staff, delicious food, very good Margaritas. Be sure to put extra money in the meter and take a long walk after having one. This is my most favorite Mexican restaurant. It is actually difficult to think of going anywhere else when I am near this one.
150 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915
For a restaurant that does not have a gluten free menu, it is great. The staff are aware and happy to help. The food is delicious and fresh. Many items are naturally GF because of the authenticity of the recipes. It was a lot of fun to try new things and learn about an interesting culture. I had a quinoa soup, a stuffed avocado and a very unusual purple corn drink served warm. There are many more items I want to try, so I look forward to coming back.
76 Lafayette Street, Salem, MA 01970
The menu is not marked. You must go through everything with your server. I happened to have a good server so it went well, but did not like having to spend so much time ordering. The food was very good. Very loud and crowded. They had interesting cocktails made from Agave wine instead of tequila. After one of those, I did not care if it was too loud. So go for a walk after one of those before heading home.
500 Market Street Suite #600, Lynnfield, MA 01940
The atmosphere is lovely. The GF items are marked on the regular menu. If you like shrimp, you have a lot of options. So although I enjoyed what I had and it appears that they are well trained and careful, your options are limited. Even so, I would go back. Just would not go often because although I like shrimp, it would get old fast. They do not have a dedicated fryer. They do offer corn chips, but they bake them. And actually, to my surprise, they were better than I expected. What was a puzzle is that you only get the red salsa. I wondered what was not gluten free about the green one? But did not get a chance to ask.
25 Rogers St, Gloucester, MA 01930
For creative, fresh delicious sushi, this place is the best on the north shore. You DO NOT have to settle for plain sushi without soy sauce. The crabmeat they use is real. They bring you a wheat free tamari. My favorite is the Titanic Roll. But all the Gluten Free rolls are delicious. The rest of the menu for anyone in your party not interested in sushi , they have terrific lunch and dinner options that are gluten free: seafood, chicken, salads, steaks. The only trouble with this location is parking. It is worth dedicating the extra time to get a parking space and walk several blocks. You will not be disappointed! Updat: for the first time I ordered from the regular menu, that is I decided not to have Sushi. That was a mistake. I wanted to try the oysters in the appetizer list. It had a GF next to it. Even so, I asked if it had to be modified or were the breadcrumbs they described GF. Waiter assured me they were. Then he brought them and I asked again, "are you sure these are gluten free?" He said oh yes, no problem. I hesitated, waited for my partner to try them. He said they tasted fine. Could not tell one way or the other, I finally relaxed, took a bite. It was good. And then the waiter came back and said, oh, they are not gluten free! Nice. Manager came over, apologized profusely and gave us the meal. But that did not make me feel better. Dealt with stomach pains all night and probably will not go back.
103 High St, Danvers, MA 01923
Unfortunately was met by a server who was not friendly or helpful. You must get familiar with the menu before walking in. And even with that had to convince server that they do indeed have GF items. Finally got chicken salad sandwhich. It was ground up chicken breast on white gluten free bread. Not impressed. Crowded, loud, disorganized atmosphere. You order at a counter and then they bring it to you. Then you clean up. Would rather eat at home.
300 Lowell St, Wilmington, MA 01887
The gluten free fried chicken is worth the trip! And good thing you get more than enough and very satisfied, because there is no gluten free dessert just yet. Only reason they do not get 5 stars.
9421 PINEVILLE MATTHEWS ROAD, PINEVILLE NC 28134
Barely average. Not really worth the time. Just went because others wanted to go.
10710 Providence Rd., Charlotte, NC 28277
Food was fine. Just do not care for the atmosphere.
267 Commercial St, Portland, ME 04101
Makes me want to move to Portland!
671 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101
608 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101
110 Main St, Gloucester, MA 01930
Very nice experience. Casual, yet tasteful environment. But do be prepared to make reservations for dinner. It is popular. At the time I was there, most of the GF entrees were seafood, which I happen to enjoy. There was one dessert that night, crème brûlée. Service was friendly and everything tastes great. Will be back for sure.
29 Andover St, Danvers, MA 01923
Disappointed. Had been to one of these in Westford, MA & it was a better experience. Loud, dirty & food was below average. Was not impressed with disclaimer at the bottom of the GF menu. So why bother with so many GF options & then imply it may not be safe? How does one use caution when ordering? What does that mean?So far, not sick, but really not comfortable with the attitude of this company.
43 Church St, Salem, MA 01970
The best reason to go is for the clam chowder. The only place that figured out how to make a gluten free clam chowder everyone will enjoy. The rest of the menu is a bit limited for gluten free. Items are marked on the regular menu. The menu seems to change frequently so it has potential. They do not go out of their way with a dedicated fryer, breads or pasta. The dishes that would have pasta are substituted with rice, which works fine. The fish is fresh, and there are some decent side dishes. But since I can enjoy clam chowder, I am able overlook that for now. If they don't expand their menu with my frequent patronage, I might get a bit bored and move on.
2000 Northbrook Court, Northbrook, IL 60062
Nope, not worth the loud crowded atmosphere. Wait staff not comfortable with the idea of GF. Menu is not helpful and mostly just felt as if this particular chain of restaurants would prefer that anyone unfortunate enough to have an allergy simply go elsewhere.
2014 1st St, Highland Park, IL 60035
Apparently no longer exists?
81 Front Street, Marblehead, MA 01945
Well, I recently went back because someone I was with wanted to eat outside and have a waterfront view. Well, if you have a gluten allergy, that view and a drink is about all you are going to get without cross contamination. Next time I will go for just drinks and go someplace else for food.
300 Andover Street, Peabody, MA 01960
After a long time away from this restaurant I met a friend for lunch. It was disappointing to see how far they have gone downhill in service and selection. Will never be back unless someone posts that things have improved.
15 Walnut Rd, Hamilton, MA 01982
Ok, after reading the last post that says they have an extensive gluten free menu, I decided to give them another try. There is NO gluten free menu. And if you go at lunch, you pretty much have to get a salad. And at dinner you have to go through way too much discussion to find out what you can have made to be gluten free.
138 Congress St, Portsmouth, NH 03801
The "flatbread" is ok. Would not go out of my way to get it again. Went only because folks in my group wanted Pizza. There are a lot of very good restaurants in Portsmouth that are accommodating and have a more interesting menu selections. But if you have concerns about cross contamination, they do control that very carefully.
188 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970
Crepes at not gluten free. Misunderstood and got sick. Was my mistake. Cannot blame this on staff, just my bad ears. But they do sandwiches and other things.
75 Water St #501, Newburyport, MA 01950
Excellent, great experience. Lots of gluten free selections.
955 Main Street, Wakefield, MA 01880
This is a good place to come for breakfast if you have celiac. They are quite busy so you have to allow some extra time. Should not eat here if you are in big hurry.
322 Groveland St, Haverhill, MA 01830
I am very sad to say, the store has combined with the restaurant. The house the store was in is now vacant. So you have to try and shop in the same small space that people are ordering their hot dogs and whatnot. The frozen items are in a jumble with the ice cream. You have to peer in and try to figure out what they have and ask the cashier to dig through and get it for you. Disappointed is an understatement. Probably will not go back unless someone posts that they have fixed this mess.
225 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA 02210
Yep, made the mistake of coming here with my boss thinking it was just like all the other Legal Seafood restaurants. If you are used to Legal's Celiac friendly service in their regular restaurants, then do not come here. I wish they had just posted something on the door to alert people with Celiac and direct us to go elsewhere. Not a good experience at all.
900 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02115
Nice place, terrific service, good food. No drama. Thanks for that.
190 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116
Too bad to see this place deteriorated. Another place to mark off my list. Thank goodness there are plenty of places in Boston that do a much better job and happy to do so.
255 State Street, Boston, MA 02109
Thank you! Cannot imagine a better place for those with Celiac. A place I can go with friends and family and everyone has a good experience. And I am not treated like a burden. Very refreshing.
92 Bedford St., 92 Bedford Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02111
Loved the Pho. The staff here are so wonderful! Thanks for making me feel welcome.
187 Devonshire St, Boston, MA 02110
Just one word needed: Excellent!
2 Center Plaza, Boston, MA 02108
It would do a better service to celiacs if they just posted on the front door that they cannot accommodate those with Celiac Disease. I would prefer that to the terrible ordeal of trying to order under these circumstances. It is really ok if a restaurant cannot accommodate me. I would not be sad to go elsewhere. But when the restaurant ends up on this app and a friend or co-worker persuades you to give it a go, it is just terribly frustrating. Just say that you cannot accommodate and then you are relieved of the burden of serving someone with celiac and the person with celiac will be happy to move on.
340 Market St, Lynnfield, Massachusetts 01940
Seriously? Why is this place listed? There are no sandwiches, so why does this app indicate that? If your friends or family insist on dining here, then they are being incredibly insensitive when there are other places within walking distance that are better at accommodating. No, no, just say NO!
294 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915
Loud, dirty, immature staff. No thanks, could not get past any of that to place an order.
23 Enon St, Beverly, MA 01915
Just OK. It is a busy place with the majority of customers who can eat anything they want. The fact that gluten free bread is available is surprising. But the bread is quite dense and heavy. I do not expect more and would only go back if someone in my party insisted. Otherwise I would never go.
40 Beach St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944
Lots of options. So many that it took me quite a while to decide. Enjoyed the shrimp tostadas this time. Will be back. They just need to work on making sure to let folks know they have a dedicated fryer. Servers need to understand that is very important information.
101 S Main St, Canandaigua, NY 14424
You cannot go wrong here! Simply Loved It!
933 Skokie Boulevard, Northbrook, IL 60062
It is ok. That is not good enough when spending so much money for a meal.
87 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970
Well, I went and was served an item that was listed as gluten free and it was not. I realized this after I took a bite. Fortunately I caught it and I had a minor belly ache. But that was very frustrating and now cannot trust this place. Too bad because the menu is rather creative.
7 Beach St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944
Yes, the menu is marked. If you are in the mood for salad or nachos you are fine. And of you are not sick of creme brûlée, well they serve that too. I will not go back because I do not go out to a restaurant to eat a salad I can make at home.
6 Wayside Rd, Burlington, MA 01803
Beautiful atmosphere. But just average food. The gluten free menu was a bit frustrating. The first items under starters turned out to NOT be gluten free. Found this out after I placed my order & server came out to say that soups are not gluten free after all. The main dish was ok and dessert was ok. But would not go out of my way to eat here. Too bad, really think they could be better, but get the feeling they would rather do just barely enough to get by where gluten free is concerned.
455 Totten Pond Rd, Waltham, MA 02451
Had an ok lunch. The menu is marked to let you know which items contain gluten. So that can be discouraging. The selection is rather limited. The upside is that the selections available are interesting. One thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable is that when I mentioned that I have a gluten allergy, the server seemed annoyed as if she did not need to know. I also explained my secondary allergy & then she seemed to soften up. But I do question the kitchen practices if server does not feel the need to know. I enjoyed my meal and there were no ill effects. But I cannot say that the restaurant has my full confidence.
4 Ocean Front N, Salisbury, MA 01952
Quite a number of gluten free items on the menu. Everything was prepared well. Staff was friendly. View is very nice.
161 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970
Yes, the Peabody Essex Museum has a café & outdoor restaurant. It is a pretty location and rather secluded for an outdoor restaurant in Salem. But they recently changed their menu and removed my favorite items. So may not go back.
256 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915
Have eaten at Soma twice. I just did not feel the accommodation was reliable enough to suggest them for this app. It really depends on the server and his or her's knowledge of what gluten free means. One time I went and it was fine, the next time I went, I was disappointed. I look forward to seeing more positive posts about this place. If I see enough consistent positive reviews, I might give them another chance.
331 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA 01907
As a grocery store, the choices are terrific. But as a place to get a prepared lunch from the buffet, not so good. Many items were incorrectly marked and others had obvious cross contamination.
80 Raffles Pl, Singapore 048624
Finally found a nice place in Singapore that does not cost an arm and a leg to get some nice gluten free choices. A very clearly marked menu greets you so that you do not have to have a long discussion about your gluten allergy. They are also accommodating and understanding about additional allergies.
5 Raffles Ave, Singapore 039797
Another terrific experience. I gave up on trying to find gluten free accommodation at ordinary restaurants. Since getting sick costs more than having a carefully crafted meal, as long as I am in Singapore it will be only high end dining. The Cherry Garden is one such location, and the chef makes sure that you can eat interesting and delectable delights. It was so good I was almost brought to tears.
80 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049326
After struggling with finding restaurants that accomodate food allergies for several days, I happened on this gem of a restaurant. Although they do not have a GF menu, they take the gluten free allergy and many other allergies very seriously and do not expect the customer to eat like a child. They hostess, Mia, guided me through the menu to show me the items that can be accommodated. The chef freshly prepares the dishes without the offending ingredients. I was able to enjoy the duck curry and stir fried vegetables even though I have both a gluten and pineapple allergy. It is a bit expensive, but since finding a restaurant that truly understands food allergies is rare in Singapore, it was worth every penny.
49 Chander Road, Singapore 219547
It is now called Arwasu and nobody there goes by the name of Ravi. And if you ask about allergy accommodation they look at you as if you are from Mars.
Although there is no gluten free menu, the chef was excellent and knowledgeable. He was patient and eager to make sure I had a terrific meal, not something stripped down and boring. Have enjoyed the Lentil Dahl and Chicken Tagine with no ill effects. This restaurant is located on the third level of the Shangri La Resort on Sentosa Island. Worth the time and expense.
435 Orchard Road, #03-08, Wisma Atria, Singapore 238877
Expensive burgers but worth it when you have been rejected by all other restaurants in the area for having a gluten allergy.
6 Eu Tong Sen St, Singapore 059817
I had read about this restaurant on a blog that said they were clueless. But my experience was fine. Maybe things have improved since that posting. A few items are gluten free. What they offer is well prepared. It was a great find since the idea of celiac disease is a rather new concept in Singapore. I was reassured that they take precautions with cross contamination. I did not get sick, and enjoyed the meal. It is located in the basement of a large shopping center near the Swissôtel at Clarke Quay.
120 Maxwell Rd, Singapore 069119
Address difficult to find. Restaurant is located at a basement level of a subway station. Closed on Sunday. Hope to try it sometime.
1 Dupont Circle Northwest, Washington, DC 20036
Stopped in at a time when they were not busy to ask questions. It was rather discouraging and they said they do not have any kitchen procedures to avoid cross contamination & that folks with Celiac probably were not safe. They emphasized that the GF on the menu just means gluten friendly NOT gluten free & they would not guarantee that any item was gluten free. Quite disappointing and misleading. I decided to go elsewhere.
2100 P St NW, Washington, DC 20037
Enjoyed the steak frites. Having fries and a tasty sauce is quite a treat. Nice service and a nice variety of GF items.
2120 P St NW, Washington, DC 20037
I happened to stop in at a very slow time, so service was very good. Enjoyed the spicy shrimp tacos and a classic margarita. Five stars would be awarded when chips are also GF.
4 Monument Street, Wenham, MA 01984
Have been going here for breakfast for a while. They are gradually becoming more GF friendly. Because they do not have a gluten free menu, it takes a lot of discussion and the wait staff running back and forth to ask questions. Once it is all sorted out, the food is good. Am giving them 3 stars in hopes of improvement in service. Maybe if more folks go with this need, they will decide to improve communication. Update: An extensive gluten free menu has been added so communication and options are greatly improved. Much better experience this time. More apt to come back!
1 Faneuil Hall Square, Boston, MA 02109
No gluten free menu. The server sometimes marks those items that are gluten free and then sometimes they tell you that they can make almost anything gluten free. So then you proceed to ask about certain dishes and then they say, oh, not sure, let me check on that, they disappear for a while and come back to say no, or to tell you that they can make it without this and that. There has to be a better way.
40 Railroad St., Andover, MA 01810
Have considered having lunch there a couple of times. Upon observation, the self-serve buffet often has mis-labeled items and incorrect ingredient lists. So I cannot trust that it is safe. Also not sure if folks who came through kept serving spoons in the correct locations. Some of them were lying outside of the serving areas. I suspect cross contamination is a big problem and not willing to take a chance.
50 Saint Peter Street, Salem, MA 01970
The upside is that the burgers are good. The process of ordering and the atmosphere will keep me from coming back. Noisy, disorganized and uncomfortable. The menu that is handed to you is not marked for GF items. A chalkboard across the room is marked, but you cannot read it from the location where you are supposed to place your order. You have to ask for a dedicated fryer ahead of time. The day I went was not very crowded and ordering was a pain. Can't imagine how difficult it will be when Salem's tourist season is in full swing.
26 Walkers Brook Dr, Reading, MA 01867
What fun! I have not enjoyed this kind of Chinese comfort food in 25 years. The service was outstanding. This is a treat I look forward to repeating.
506 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176
Enjoyed a relaxing lunch. The gluten free menu is quite varied and interesting. No breads or crackers. No dedicated fryer. But can overlook that because they have an authentic tasting New England Clam Chowder that is gluten free. I will go back just for that.
64 Cross Street, Boston, MA 02113
Enjoyed a breakfast sandwich & tea. Was impressed with the variety of options for breakfast and lunch. Staff and manager attentive to prevent cross contamination.
118 Main St, Gloucester, MA 01930
Wow, this place is terrific! Excellent gourmet dishes. Go here to have things you would never make at home. Extensive Gluten Free menu. So you get to spend more time with your dinner companion. Live music is a nice bonus.
761 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116
No gluten free menu so ordering is an ordeal. Not as much variety as other seafood restaurants. Atmosphere is pleasant & food is above average & expensive.
62 Wharf St, Salem, MA 01970
Yes, this restaurant is a bit pricey but they do not disappoint gluten free customers. I have enjoyed a couple of meals here and highly recommend it.
60 Long Wharf, Boston, MA 02110
Because of the atmosphere and price, I expect more from this kind if establishment. It is not bad, just does not live up to expectations.
349 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801
Not worth the trip. Terrible experience. Not sure why this restaurant is taking up space on this app.
118 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970
Enjoyed a vegan GF pizza. Fun place to go on a Saturday afternoon.
24 Winter St, Newburyport, MA 01950
This is a nice establishment. They are only open for dinner. That makes my expectations much higher. Drinks are well made and the gluten free menu provides some nice starters, salads and entrees. Portions are quite large. But for the price, it just did not measure up.
101 Ashville Ave, Cary, NC 27518
An allergen list is not useful and keeps me from going back. Not a good experience, there are a lot better places to go in Cary.
101 Ashville Ave, Cary, NC 27518
An allergen list is not useful and keeps me from going back. Not a good experience, there are a lot better places to go in Cary.
Faneuil Hall Marketplace, 4 S Market St, Boston, MA 02109
Although this would not be my first choice in this part of Boston, if you happen to be with a group of folks who want to experience traditional New England dishes, a gluten free menu is available. It is rather limited. Mostly items "without." No breads, starters, salads nor desserts. Mainly meat, vegetable and potato entrees. If you go knowing this, it is a bit easier to tolerate. Wait Staff was actually friendly and helpful.
3 Duncan St, Gloucester, MA 01930
Very nice variety of menu items. Excellent cocktails & starters. Main Dishes are creative and well prepared. Well informed staff. They will close March 2 for remodeling. They plan to reopen in same location by June. Only disappointment, no gluten free dessert.
78 Essex Avenue, Gloucester, MA 01930
No gluten free menu. Waitstaff in a hurry. No dedicated fryer. Ended up with naked grilled fish with potato and steamed asparagus. There are much better places in Gloucester than this for someone with gluten intolerance.
210 Andover Street, Peabody, MA 01960
My first two visits were a great experience because the wait staff were very well educated and considerate. But last night my experience was extremely frustrating. My waitress had no clue and worse, was reluctant to ask questions of kitchen staff. She acted as if she was in too much of a hurry to be bothered with a customer with a food allergy. I am reluctant to go back unless they print a gluten-free menu. This notion that the wait staff is responsible for helping the customer make choices leads to either a lot of running back and forth to the kitchen or in this case, getting someone who is too lazy to be bothered.
10822 Providence Rd #100, Charlotte, NC 28277
Below Average. Would not be my second or third choice for eating out. Staff did not seem confident. Food was a bit too heavy with salt and fat. Tables were sticky and needed to be cleaned better. Will probably avoid in the future unless someone else reports improvements.
815 West Chatham Street, Cary, NC 27511
The owner is taking responsibility for making sure your order is Gluten Free. Food was very good and according to Hispanic friends, it is authentic. Would still like to have a gluten free menu available. The menu is extensive and needs to have things narrowed down to reduce the amount of time it takes to place an order. Those of us that need to have a gluten free meal do not enjoy the long conversations with wait staff that are unsure, running back and forth to the kitchen to consult with the owner. We would rather enjoy the company of our dining companions and not have the focus on allergies.
428 South Dawson Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. There should be one like it in every city!
111 Seaboard Ave, Ste 118, Raleigh, NC 27604
Terrific gluten free dumplings! Delicious vegan options as well. Amazed that the chef can do so much in such a small space. Go early, place is popular.
One West Exchange Street, Providence, RI 02903
Very expensive, but well worth it.
Meditearraneo, 134 Atwells Ave, Providence, RI 02903
They do not have a gluten free menu. Gluten free pasta is available. Staff is well informed so that made things easier. The Pesto was good, but a little goes a long way. All entrées are large enough for sharing.
15 Depot Square, Ipswich, MA 01938
Enjoyed the vegetable Pad Thai and a green curry here a few times. Staff is very helpful. Fun place to go if you are looking for a small gift or some Asian treats. Since the north shore is lacking an Asian market, this restaurant has a few items available for fun.
Market Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940
Excellent! Great food & generous portions. Wait staff are very professional. Bring a cooler with ice so you can save room for the desserts which are unique. Wine list is also worth the trip. Located at a large shopping center so you can walk off your meal before heading home.
247 Essex Street, Salem, MA 01970
Crowded, noisy, & all around uncomfortable atmosphere. Liked the Gluten Free Apple Pie. Would rather do takeout next time I need a pie fix.
14 Ashland Street, North Adams, MA 01247
Every town should have a place like this! Nice to eat in, but also very suitable for takeout. Stop in with your cooler and/or picnic basket, and enjoy the delicious food taking in the lovely scenery.
75 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201
Excellent place for appetizers and drinks! Love this place:-)
215 Broadway, Lynnfield, MA 01940
Happened to get out of work early and stopped by on a Friday afternoon at about 5:15. It was not crowded and the waiter was very attentive and knowledgable. Menu was pretty varied. Had the fish tacos. They were fine. Was happy that they had a dedicated fryer and they were very considerate about gluten free options.
252 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915
The menu is varied and creative, but you have to have a discussion with wait staff and lots of back and forth to get your gluten free option. Very loud and crowded.
194 Middle Street #3, Lowell, MA 01852
Food is terrific, atmosphere hectic, crowded and stressful. Will only do takeout next time.
108 High Rd, Newbury, MA 01951
This is an expensive market, but have found some good gluten free fresh baked items that I cannot find anyplace else. Whenever I am in the area, I can't help myself, I have to stop and check out what's new. Always leave happy with something tasty.
410 Revere Beach Boulevard, Revere, MA 02151
It was ok. Since it was my first visit, I was unsure what I could order. Manager on duty last night was not very helpful. It was not crowded, but she acted as if I was taking up valuable time and did not seem to understand why I had questions. Was not feeling the exceptional service reported here. Roast beef on gluten free roll was ok but did not order anything else because she was so vague. Will only come back if a menu is available so that I do not have to ask questions and take up valuable staff time.
131 Matthews Station Street, Matthews, NC 28105
Very good gluten free crepes. Lots of options, friendly flexible staff.
119 South Main Street, Middleton, MA 01949
Food is tasty. But it is very small. It can be very uncomfortable in winter. Noise level is intense. I prefer to eat outside or do takeout. Hope one day they will be able to find a larger spot with some kind of noise reduction for the juicers and/or blenders.
12 Sylvan St, Peabody, MA 01960
It is barely ok. Typical accommodation which is not very imaginative and boils down to going without. So if you want a burger, it is without a bun. No dedicated fryer further reducing options. Would only go back if others in my party were fans of the place. The only upside is the outdoor seating is pretty nice.
97 Lowell Road, Concord, MA 01742
Best gluten-free chicken salad sandwich I've had. Got a piece of gluten-free coffee cake to go. It was a wonderful breakfast treat the next day. Restaurant is clean, quiet & relaxing. Wish I lived closer, I'd go at least once a week and work my way through the menu.
86 Wharf Street, Salem, MA 01970
If you find that the other gluten free friendly restaurants in the area are short on tables, this one will do in a pinch. Prices are reasonable and food is average. Even though the menu lists very carefully what is safe on the salad bar, was not willing to take a chance since the general public is not keen on keeping things separate and clean.
939 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02115
Very fun. Lots of unique dishes and well made with a lot of attention to detail. First time to have fresh chips and salsa with everybody else.
1727 Massachusetts Ave, Lexington, MA 02420
Stopped in for brunch. At brunch there is no gluten free menu. Waiter was not well informed. He had to go back and forth several times to ask questions. After things were sorted out, and a very long wait, food finally arrived about 25 minutes later, it was OK. Would not go out of my way to go back for brunch.
12 Liberty Street, Salem, MA 01970
Picked up chicken twice. Two of the three chicken marinades are gluten free. If you tell them you have a gluten allergy, they take precautions and help you choose accordingly. Food is great for take-out. Parking and seating limited. Will earn more stars if they would make their corn bread and stuffing gluten free.
210 Squire Rd, Revere, MA 02151
Questionable, the pizza tasted fine, but now my stomach hurts pretty bad. I might be in for a long, painful night:-(
316 Groveland St, Haverhill, MA 01830
A very casual gluten free restaurant. Lots of fun items you will not find anywhere else. Staff are friendly and eager to serve. Plus, a special gluten free store conveniently situated next door with more unique things. Will come back for sure!
151 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02188
Quite good. Nice place for a family gathering. Gluten free menu is average. Happened to order the salmon and it was fine. Was surprised a bit by being able to order baked beans.
60 Lake St, Burlington, VT 05401
Such a wonderful treat! Loved the Buckwheat Crepe with Brie and Apples. My favorite place for a gluten free brunch.
119 South Main Street, Middleton, MA 01949
Recently enjoyed drinks and starters. Menu is marked with some gluten free selections. Dinner menu has a little more to offer than lunch. Kitchen will work with you on expanding some options. The pork tacos were quite flavorful. Friendly wait staff. A good experience, will go back. http://maggiesfarmmiddleton.com/#/introduction
27 Enon Street, Beverly MA 01915
A friend gave me a gift certificate, so I gave it another chance. This time the GF menu had expanded, & staff is better informed. Manager attentive and friendly. Problem is, food was not very tasty. Tried the shrimp appetizer and two of the small plates. My husband ordered from the regular menu and also did not seem thrilled with his food.
55 Dodge Street, Beverly, MA 01915
If you need fast food, this particular Chipotle location has a good manager with careful staff who do their very best to avoid cross contamination. Had the Chicken tacos. They were fresh and tasty.
210 Andover Street, Peabody, MA 01960
I have updated my review and rating. Legal Seafoods has made some changes to their menus. There are some more interesting options on the gluten free menu. Worth a trip back if it has been a while.
66 3rd St, Dover, NH 03820
Even before I was diagnosed, I did not care for and avoided casual pizza places because they were not clean. But this place was clean & tidy the day I was there. Very good gluten free pizza too. If I find myself in Dover again, will be back to try a sandwich.
200 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA 02116
Fun, delicious & terrific service. Very few items have gluten. Even the rolls are safe for everyone.
4400 Sharon Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211
Fresh and tasty. Be prepared with a cooler to bring some home. Portions are very big.
200 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202
Although I do not go to a place like this for a bargain, I did not feel the experience was worth the high price.
10056 E. Independence Blvd., Matthews ,NC 28105
Food and service excellent. Would go more often if they would turn the music down.
53 Bow St, Portsmouth, NH 03801
Too bad that I do not like beer, they had about 4 different Gluten Free Beer choices. Had the batter fried Maine Baby Shrimp. Was worth the extra time to wait for preparation. If they extend the gluten free options, they will earn 5 stars. Was a very good experience, will probably come back.
37 Beach Ave, Kennebunk, ME 04043
Enjoyed a fantastic Gluten Free Thanksgiving meal. Staff & restaurant exceed 5 stars.
8 Western Ave, Kennebunk, ME 04043
Thanks so much for offering a delicious gluten free lobster roll. Very friendly staff. Will earn 5 stars if gluten free chips or fries are available. Will be back, regardless.
2067 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge, MA 02140
Been here twice & both times it was a very good experience. Unique delicious gourmet meals presented beautifully. Gluten Free equals variety and spice here.
210 Andover St, Peabody, MA 01960
Very good pasta. Very good service. I asked what could be made gluten free. They are very happy to tell you all of your options. If you are planning to have a burger or sandwich, then you may want to forgo the strawberry shortcake for dessert. But the shortcake is delicious as well as the burger. Together they are just a bit too much. I do plan to come back and try some other things.
18 Washington Square W, Salem, MA 01970
Nathaniel's is Very nice & has a number of gluten free options including appetizers, soups, salads, & very well prepared main dishes. Quiet sophisticated environment. Attentive staff provides great service. The Tavern is not worth a visit, so just ignore them. If you need a gluten free meal, Nathaniel's can accommodate you and do it with a fine dining experience. It is worth the extra expense.
45 Enon St, Beverly, MA 01915
The gluten free menu provides variety and does make someone with a gluten allergy feel welcome. I enjoyed the rosemary skewered scallops. They were terrific. The atmosphere is a bit loud & crowded. Very popular place on a Friday evening.
1811 Tower Rd, Glenview, IL 60026
Very good Bison, but also has many other tasty options such as beef, chicken & fish. Will earn 5 stars when a burger is offered on a gluten free bun.
2901 Central St, Evanston, IL 60201
Loved everything I have picked up to go. Would earn 5 stars for better eat-in service.
474 Columbus Ave, New York, NY 10024
A few gluten free selections. Tasty stir fry. Very fresh. Wait staff helpful. Clean & quiet the day I was there. Will earn 4 stars when gluten free sandwiches are offered.
Fifth Avenue at Central Park South, New York, NY 10019
A few very good gluten free items. Enjoyed the pasta. Beautiful atmosphere, very kind wait staff. They do offer gluten free bread. Will earn 5 stars when the gluten free bread includes a variety of rolls in addition to sandwich bread.
630 9th Ave, New York, NY 10036
Very good burgers. Best gluten free buns so far. If you like med-rare, be careful, on the rarer side because these burgers are very big & thick.
1626 Broadway, New York, NY 10019
A few gluten free items, but well done. Enjoyed the chicken wrapped in rice paper. Dessert was very nice. Wait staff very friendly. Location good for Times Square people watching. Would earn 4 stars if a few Dim Sum items were added.
630 9th Ave, New York, NY 10036
Very good for a sophisticated palate. Items are unique. Staff is wonderful. Love the gluten free bread. It is brought to the table hot with dipping sauce. Desserts are great.
65 Pleasant St, Gloucester, MA 01930
Wonderful experience. Will be even better when a gluten free menu is available. Do not like to have wait staff run back & forth to the kitchen to ask about each item. But they are very friendly! Will be back.
210 Andover Street, Peabody, MA 01960
I would only eat here if there was absolutely nowhere else to go. Fortunately there are plenty of other options!
50 Water St, Newburyport, MA 01950
Excellent staff, service & delicious healthy food. Kale chips are addictive!
189 Washington St, Salem, MA 01970
My second trip to the Tavern. Average & not a good value. This time tried the French dip sandwich. It was ok, but way too expensive. It came with no sides. Just the sandwich & Au Jus. Had to listen to the long explanation of why they cannot afford a dedicated fryer, so sorry, no fries & no side substitutions. $12. I felt pretty ripped-off.
2060 Renaissance Park Place, Cary,NC 27513
Wonderful experience. If you have a gluten allergy, this is the best place to go in Cary, NC.
75 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA 01803
Very surprised to see this restaurant on the list. My experience at any Cheesecake Factory has been unpleasant. I was discouraged from ordering anything other than a beverage & side salad without a dressing. I would prefer & understand if they would say that they cannot accommodate allergies.
517 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906
Question? The menu lists a millet & flax crust but does not provide any reassurance that they are set up to prevent cross contamination or that the crust is gluten free. So just wondering how Princes ended up on this app?
356 Broadway, Saugus, MA 01906
The GF enchiladas were fine. Mostly it is the atmosphere that keeps me from coming back. Just tooo loud. I do not want to have to shout at my server. Maybe I can find an off-time & try again.
149 Littleton Rd, Westford, MA 01886
Very nice place. Fun & friendly. Has some nice GF selections.
950 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA 01915
Really enjoyed the beef brisket. Sides are so-so. Next time, I would do take out on meat only & make my own sides.
281 Essex St, Salem, MA 01970
Terrific place for gluten free health food. Staff is well informed, friendly & helpful. And if you still want something a bit sweet, there are Gluten Free cookies to satisfy the craving.
99 Main St, Essex, MA 01929
Enjoyed sharing soft shell crab & drinks with friends. It had been 12 years since I was able to find This as a Gluten Free treat.
43 South St, Rockport, MA 01966
Loved it! Beautiful atmosphere, tasty GF treats. A must for anyone feeling deprived at other Tea Houses.
76 Wharf St, Salem, MA 01970
Finz gluten free menu is extensive covering appetizers, salads, creative entrees, & desserts. The food is terrific & the outdoor eating area is nice offering shade or sun. One of the few places someone on a gluten free diet can enjoy a cocktail & appetizers & feel satisfied with the experience. When a seafood restaurant offers a gluten free New England clam chowder that is truly rich & thick, you will earn 5 stars.
210 Andover St, Peabody, MA 01960
Staff well trained & well mannered. In addition to GF menu, some specials might also be GF. A favorite for GF dining out.
261 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915
Love these GF treats. If you need some, pretty, delicious bite size treats for entertaining, this is perfect. Only those with Celiac need to know they are gluten free. Let everyone else try before revealing that they are GF.
294 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915
My only complaint is that this place is so good it is hard to find a seat. Hope you have plans to expand!
13 Middle St, Newburyport, MA 01950
Great staff, extensive GF menu. Clam chowder tasty, but not the thick/rich kind most associate with New England. Looking forward to more visits to work my way around the menu.
980 Paradise Road, Suite 2, Swampscott, MA 01907
Fries are terrific, thanks for that. Understand why you might not provide gluten free buns 'cause they can fall apart, but how are the burgers & dogs served without a bun? Have you considered corn tortillas or a lettuce wrap? Would be a more frequent customer if you did something like that.
Northshore Mall, 210 Andover St., Peabody, MA 01960
Very nice GF options, but it needs an update. Having only one gluten free appetizer available is boring & I spend less money as a result.
60 Commonwealth Avenue, Danvers, MA 01923
If you are gluten intolerant & craving a burger, nice place to satisfy craving. Usually has a dedicated fryer, but inconsistent. May need to ask to be sure if in the mood for fries.
121 Main St, Essex, MA 01929
Thank you Woodman's! It is so wonderful to take my friends & family & be able to eat like everyone else. You guys are GF Angels!
2336 W. Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110
Does not deserve a star. Manager discouraged me from eating there. There is not a gluten free menu. Just a statement to consult with staff. I left because of manager attitude.
2412 W Roosevelt Blvd, Monroe, NC 28110
The gluten free menu is a allergen chart. Not very user friendly.
1 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801
Terrific GF Menu, service & atmosphere.
