Not sure what's up with all of the negative comments. I've been eating here a long time (before and after my celiac), and I've never gotten sick once. They've always taken great care with me and we have many other food allergies in my family. The food is very pricy but it's a good place for a celebration.

great food, great service. I thought I'd never be able to eat Chinese food again after my celiac diagnosis (I am first generation Chinese, too!). but this place has great authentic food and most importantly, they understand how serious celiac is. I go at least once a month and they always have so many good suggestions! The authentic Shanghai menu is an absolute treasure and they can do almost everything gluten free.

One of my favorites! I'm very sensitive and have never gotten sick here. The arepas are amazing, as are the yucca fries with extra cilantro sauce. I recommend the El Gaucho steak or the shrimp in the coconut shell... sooo good.

Get the oatmeal raisin cookies -- you will not regret it. Amazing scones, fabulous bread, really tasty sandwiches and entrees. The meatloaf cupcake is whimsical and delicious. I never worry about getting gluten contamination here, since the kitchen is entirely gluten free! My only complaint is the hours.. I wish they were open for dinner.

I once discovered a strand of spaghetti in my gluten free ziti, and they informed me that it meant my pasta was cooked in the water with regular pasta and that I should stop eating immediately. they were immediately on top of it, comped our check, called to check on me, let me know they were having a corporate meeting to discuss the mistake. I understand mistakes happen, and they handled it like a good restaurant should.

I'm not sure why people seem to think the gluten free menu is limited. you can get almost any of the salads and sandwiches, and a few of the entrees. there are parts of the country where a gluten free menu consists of three items! I recommend the Reuben on gf bagel with potato salad.

Ate here tonight off the gluten free menu and got so sick that I had a seizure in the restaurant and had to be taken away via ambulance. If you are celiac and sensitive, DO NOT EAT HERE. I am literally writing this from a hospital bed and would not wish this upon my worst enemy. And it wasn't even very tasty.
