Great options with an extremely knowledgable staff. No GF bun, but the burgers are still delicious.

Yes! So many options, and so clearly marked on the regular menu! Their GF pasta is easily my favorite around Cville, and their main entrees have never disappointed either. Lots of options both on tap and in bottle, cider and beer (though beer has only been in bottle). Staff very friendly and accommodating.

1321 West Main Street, Charlottesville, VA, 22903

Great pizza, albeit incredibly overpriced. Usually only has one cider on draft, and it's been a pear one (ew) for the last month. Wings, portobello mushroom, and salads are all safe options if you're not in the mood for pizza.

  • Revolutionary Soup on the Corner

    5 starsJuly 29, 2014

    104 14th Street Northwest, Charlottesville, VA 22903

Great spot for soup and salad. As the other reviews have mentioned, they'll swap rice for the traditional roll on the side and always have free apples out for added bonus.

Best spot for GF lunch on the corner. Tons of options for all courses, all very clearly marked on the (dinner) menu. Staff knowledgeable and friendly, with the owners always around if you have questions about the menu.

Pros: Very attentive service, fantastic salads, tasty GF pasta, and a wide selection of beverages! I live nearby and go fairly frequently. Cons: $3 extra / crust for a personal pizza is steep, especially because it's *always* undercooked/doughy (I guess they don't take into account extra time needed for being cooked in the tins and having different crust?). Too bad since aside from Mellow, they were my favorite pizza place before diagnosis last year.
