I tried our local IHOP today and will likely not be going back simply because they don't offer much of anything that is gluten-free. The staff was very kind when I explained my gluten allergy, and didn't mind me asking to have staff clean prep areas, change gloves, etc.I asked to speak to the manager before ordering to make sure my food would be cooked properly. Although he was very kind, it was obvious he didn't know what gluten was,or the items it was in. IHOP does not offer a gluten-free menu, but they do give you an allergy guide to read over before ordering. The only things safe for breakfast on their menu were eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit. When I ordered, I made sure they would clean the prep areas and all before handling my food, and asked then to leave out any flour or mix from my eggs, as I wanted egg whites only and wanted to make sure they were gluten-free. When they brought out my food, they messed up my order and gave me regular eggs instead of only whites (not a big deal). They changed it and brought out fresh eggs for me. The bacon and eggs were good, but the fruit was old and not good. Based on the lack of menu options, I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. The staff was kind, but not knowledgable when it came to food allergies. The items I ordered didn't make me sick.

Terrific! I've visited this restaurant often, and it is one of my favorites! The staff is terrific about cooking your food safely if you have a gluten allergy, and I love that they cook it in front of me on the hibachi grill so I can watch. They clean the area well first and are very careful everything! I do bring my own GF soy sauce with me when I go though since I'm not sure if they offer a Gf one.

Horrible! If you have Celiac Disease or are Gluten-Free, I strongly recommend you avoid this restaurant. I made sure the staff knew I had a severe food allergy and that it was important the prep areas be cleaned, gloves changed, etc. Based on the dirty silverware that both my mom and I received, I doubt they value cleanliness. We had to ask for clean silverware twice as both times when we opened our silverware it was covered in caked on food particles. Yuck! When we showed the waitress, she was incredibly rude. Their bathroom was also filthy and didn't have toilet paper or hand soap. This location is just nasty! To top off the uncleanliness and the rude staff, their food made me horrifically ill. I will never go back to this location.

Amazing! If you're gluten-free and crave Italian, I highly recommend Amerigo's! They have their own Gluten-Free menu and the pasta dishes are amazing! (They were so good that I thought they had made a mistake with my order and given me regular pasta instead if gluten free lol! They didn't though, and I never became sick.) I will definitely be going back!! My only suggestion would be for them to carry a gluten-free roll!

The entree was just mediocre, but the staff was incredible! They were very attentive when I mentioned having a Gluten allergy, and even gave me a special menu. They made sure to clean prep areas and change gloves, and made sure we were satisfied with our order. You couldn't ask for more friendly staff there! I ordered the gf pasta rustica with chicken and sundries tomatoes, as well as a GF Cesar salad without croutons. The pasta dish was just "ok", but the salad was excellent! They food did not make me sick! I will definitely go back, but will just order a different main course.

Terrific! Their staff is very kind and the good is great. I've had their gluten-free food twice, and have never become ill! They have a great gluten-free menu. I always explain to them my food allergy and their need to change gloves/clean prep areas and they are great about it! My favorite items are the Pastrami on Gluten Free bread with stone ground mustard and Swiss, and their gluten-free potato salad. When I order from Jason's Deli, I typically get my order to go and toast it up at home. I would not recommend ordering hot sandwiches/toasted ones there because they share a common toaster and you run the risk of cross-contamination. (Also, their Memphis locations have experienced problems with credit/debit information being stolen in the past, so I recommend paying with cash.)

Amazing! They were so kind and helpful! When I went there recently, I mentioned my gluten allergy and the need for staff to clean prep areas, change gloves, etc. The staff was really nice and made sure everything would be taken care of! They even have a menu devoted to gluten-free items! Their gluten free pork fajitas with corn tortillas were delicious! I also loved that they offered gluten free corn chips to go with the green salsa. It made me feel less "left out" when I was dining with my friends that do not have a food allergy. The restaurant and bathrooms were also kept tidy as well!

Horrible! The service was awful and they messed up my order. I visited this location with my cousin recently because I heard they offered a Gluten Free menu. When I went there, we had a good 15 minute wait before they even took our drink orders, they were not even busy that day. When they took our order, I kindly explained that I have a severe food allergy to gluten, and stressed the importance of the staff cleaning prep areas, changing gloves, etc. Two girls took my order (I'm assuming one was in training. Between the two, they should have gotten it correct though.) I ordered the Bacon burger on a gluten free bun and a small side salad with no croutons. They came out with my cousins food 20 minutes later and didn't bring mine out for another 20 minutes! When they finally brought mine out, it was clear they messed my order up. They brought out a regular burger with a sesame-seed, gluten-laced bun, as well as a salad covered in croutons. Before they could sit it down on the table, I told them the needed to take it back that I had a severe food allergy, and that was definitely not what I had ordered. They apologized and took it back. By the time the correct order came our (anther 15 minutes later), my drink was empty, and my cousin had already finished his entire meal. It gets better though, when I bit into the gluten-free bun, it was hard as a rock and stale. Between the horrible service, long waits, the allergy mix-up, and the stale food, I never plan to go back. I do not recommend this restaurant if you have Celiac disease or are Gluten-Free.
