This place is dessert heaven. Ice cream (snow) is good and safe to eat. There are some ridiculously gluteny dessert so just pay attention (anything with "toast" is unsafe, duh). I have not reacted to any of the teas either. Also- macarons!! That delicious gluten free dessert!

Pizza was so good! So many different topping options. Prices are pretty good so I got a small pizza all to myself while my fiancé went for a big gluteny pizza. My understanding is that they're also using gluten free pasta now so your options at this restaurant are pretty varied!

There's some contamination risk since all the add-ins are stored/displayed together and there's a chance someone could drop some cookie crumbs into the strawberries, etc. Yogurt flavors are clearly labelled. Wasn't bad.

Just a great sandwich place. Gluten free bread is really good and holds up well while you eat your sandwich. Gluten free cookies at check out and the workers knew which soups were gluten free. We went two nights in a row! There is a tiny risk of contamination, I think, if they make your sandwich where they make all the regular sandwiches. Worth asking about.

I have been gluten free for only five months, after I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I do okay with missing out on delicious food, but I struggle the most with breakfast. I was a lover of pastries and cereals before my diagnosis. I just moved to the San Jose area with my fiancé and after a long cross country trip and watching him devour gluten-filled continental breakfasts while I made do with a banana, I needed bread. I needed gluten free pastry. We went to this bistro on our second morning in CA and I ordered the strawberry crepe. It was SO GOOD. Exactly what I needed. I had the gluten free fusion batter and it really tasted amazing. The texture was great. My fiancé had the special crepe and it was pretty good as well. ONLY downside is that they don't serve any meat at all. We thought vegan options meant options, but everything is vegetarian. Fiancé said his crepe would have been amazing with some ham or bacon. Other than that, really really good.
