  • Royal Treat Breakfast & Ice Cream Parlor

    5 starsJune 29, 2015

4 Wilmington Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971

Been here many times for ice cream and breakfast both; never been glutened. Staff are attentive and careful to relay needs to the kitchen for breakfast. And you can watch them make the ice creams to be sure it's all done cleanly.

Menu was average size for a chain restaurant. Server was knowledgable and friendly. Husband and mother-in-law with celiac both ate well with no contamination problems. Good caprese, ribs, and mashed potatos. Service was slow though; had to wait more than a half our to put in drink orders. Things went great after that.

This place had the best plantains I've had since leaving south Florida and the arenas were killer good. Highly recommend.

165 Gateway Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

The first time we are here my husband got badly glutened despite being reassured multiple times that our food would be safely prepared. It did taste great though. Probably won't return.

Safe a delicious Thai food; just wish the portions were bigger.

  • Outback Steakhouse

    5 starsOctober 03, 2014

25 Gateway Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055

My husband, who has celiac, has never had a reaction here. We've been at least twenty times. Just make sure you tell your server you are GF so that they cook your food with the right cookware. Some outbacks are only okay, but this one is consistently good and staff are friendly.

  • Caddy Shack

    2 starsOctober 03, 2014

800 Orrs Bridge Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

The staff knew what menu offerings were safe and were more than happy to check with the kitchen if we had questions. The atmosphere was playful. My main complaint is that the food was mediocre and certain things are rather overpriced. Don't regret trying it but won't return.

  • Passage To India

    5 starsJune 02, 2014

520 Race St, Harrisburg, PA 17104

Owner and all staff, even if they speak in broken English, understand what gluten free means and can guarantee both that what you order is safe and that what's brought to your table is what you ordered prepared separately just for you. The pakoras are done with only chickpea flower and are delicious! Certain items on the indo-Chinese menu have a wheat-containing soy sauce, but the rest of the menu is safe, excepting the breads. We LOVE eating here and have never been glutened.

Owners daughter has celiac so the staff is VERY well trained. We order Tom Ka Gai, Pad See Ew, and Pad Woon Sen as well as pineapple fried rice and have never had a bad meal. Portions are very generous and decor is funI this is our favorite of the six local Thai restaurants we have tried.

  • The Melting Pot

This branch has been knowledgable, helpful, and full of delectable GF food! Their dessert platter has brownies, pound cake, cheesecake, fruit, marshmallows, and rice crispier treats, and of course the melted chocolate for dipping, all GF. One of my favorite spots for date night.
