This is my favorite GF restaurant in NYC. I love their pasta, they have fantastic sauces, with flavors always well balanced. I like the pasta with a vodka type sauce, peas, and sausage. The chicken parm is also fantastic. They often have specials that are GF and the salads are always fresh. I think the pizza is not bad, but I only got it once as I think the pasta is better. The flourless chocolate cake is taken to the next level here as they serve it with hazlenut gelatto and a caramel sauce. The service is spectacular and I like their drink selection as well. I would suggest a reservation when possible as they are popular. The one downside is I think the charge for the bread is a bit high. I got it once, it was one bun cut in half and toasted, and they charged a few dollars for it.

I came here twice as a friend lives in the area. The first time the waiter seemed confused but I was fine. I thought the bun did not hold up well and it was nothing spectacular but it is a burger joint. I came here again as we needed a quick bite to eat later at night. First of all that time I had the hardest time ordering as the waiter could not tell me what I could eat and kept getting confused. He tried to tell me the fries were not GF as they were frozen and they did not know what the supplier did with them before they got there. Then when my food came out (someone else said to order the fries) I thought the bun was wrong. My waiter argued but I asked him to check. He said it was a regular bun, but not his fault as it was so dark in there he couldn't see my food. I got my "new" GF burger about 10 minutes later. I was afraid of the bun at that point even though it was the GF one so I just decided to eat the patty. I noticed it was very overdone, but then realized half way through, I think they just reheated the one that was on the regular bun! Sure enough a few hours later I was violently ill after only eating a few bites of food. I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs to avoid gluten.

My favorite GF bakery in New York. I love their desserts and always stop by when in the neighborhood. One of my favorites is the coffee crumb cake, always moist and the cinnamon crumb top is perfect. Cupcakes are good, I like that they offer seasonal/ daily flavors. Brownies are nice as they are not too moist, unlike the fudgey flourless ones you get most places. I recently had their new cake bites and they were fantastic. The only thing I don't like here is the bread. I ordered a panini once and it took a long time to make and kind crumbled. If you stop by at the end of the day they often have some sort of special for what they need to sell before the end of day, so I always pick up a favorite item and then may try a new one that is one sale.
