Few lunch menu options, dinner menu not offered (though it was offered to someone else about 10 minutes after we came in). Clueless waitress. Ordered the "boar burger", which came nicely charred, and near frozen in the middle. Kindly took it off the bill, still charged me for the overpriced drink I didn't get to have because I was gagging on the uncooked pork. Horrible experience. Can I give zero stars?

Agreed that wait staff is pretentious. The cider they pushed on me was already tasteless and served over ice (?!?) They were out of several things at 8pm on a Thursday. That said, the GF BBQ chicken flatbread was absolutely amazing and I didn't get sick at all, which is awesome for a pub.

Tasty. Good GF pasta. Haven't had a bad meal or gotten ill, and we've been here a lot. Most times the chef will come speak to you (if I'm just getting a classic pasta I tell them not to worry about it). They've modified many a menu item for me, even beyond their usual modification just because I have a craving. Oh, and the GF rolls are Andreas herb dinner rolls. I have to slap my non-GF husband's hand to stay away from them.

Awesome food, large selection, and extremely knowledgable. This was one of my first GF dining experiences and I go back whenever I'm in townie cause they made it so easy. I live near St. Louis, and while they are good, the Baton Rouge location goes above and beyond. Even have the manager's business card because they are so cautious. Such an eye for detail above even other Changs chains. Great job, Baton Rouge!

Was in town in my annual family visit and was excited to have a dedicated GF place. They cured me of my excitement within seconds of walking in the door. Counter staff was plentiful and really concerned with gossip instead of customers. Bought a banana nut muffin, horrible, gummy, inconsistent. Like someone forgot to actually mix the batter then baked 5 minutes too short. Tried to engage owner/manager in conversation about the gumbo (as I've never had a GF roux-based gumbo). Wasn't asking for a recipe but he got really rude and explained (repeatedly) how he "could give you the recipe and you'd still never get it right because it took me over a year of daily testing. Do you know how many gumbos I made? I could tell you everything and you still wouldn't get it right." Um, wow, I was just trying to engage in conversation over how I've been sad to only have okra-based gumbo for 2 years and how I was looking forward to trying his the next day if it was really roux-based. Needless to say, I never went back, and everyone I know is now warned against this rude, pompous, low-quality hole.

Yummy. Completely safe. Yummy. My only complaint is that the pasta they use is Tinkyada, and I'm not a fan, so besides wishing they'd switch to Scharr, I totally and completely love this place.

Haven't gotten ill here, and the food is great and there are tons of options, as Changs is across the whole franchise. This particular location can be hit or miss with the servers, however. At other locations, the GF dipping sauce components and GF soy sauce are offered automatically, and if your companion is not ordering GF, you usually receive your rice in a separate bowl. Not always so at this location, and I often get confused looks when they are requested, and some eye rolls during busy times. You have to be on your toes at this location, as opposed to some others (Baton Rouge rocks), which actually educated ME about eating out when I first was diagnosed.

This particular restaurant is always friendly, knowledgable about the chain's gluten policies, and blazing quick. Been here several times and have not yet had cross-contamination issues.
