About Me

I love to cook so staying home is a big contender against eating out with celiac. The places I pick are darn good!

4366 Old William Penn Highway, Monroeville, PA 15146

Gia Visto has a dedicated Gfree lunch and dinner menu. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients and has a large amount of specialty menus. Gia Visto is Byob so spending a little extra is doable.

I eat here a lot since its so close and within everyones budgets.. I have taught a good portion of the staff so they know what to do for gfree. Breakfast Smile! Also, the gfree rolls are excellent however they are 340 calories, for 1.

I went into BW3 for a Pens game and asked for gfree. They said the nachos were available. Oh was I sick!? With all of the sauces, seasonings and deep fried everything, even the salads are off limits.

Love the food but get sick every single time! The margaritas, salsas and guac are mass made so even my glutinous friends get sick!

  • Outback Steakhouse

    5 starsDecember 14, 2011

They really strive to create a safe meal for their patrons... It's been my number one choice in the area since I was diagnosed!

They typically hook me up with changing gloves and separating my food from my family's. Once they used tomatoes as my 'bun' loved!
