Got the grilled octopus on a bed of arugula for an app (very small portions) and then got a GF pizza with prosciutto and arugula on it with EVOO. Pretty good. Pricey but a solid option.

No GF menu, manager was confused/shocked to hear that they show up on this app when I told him. Waitress said they can "make any dish GF" which should always be the first red flag.

shocked, but have to say this was delicious and had no adverse effects- batter is corn-based so if you have an issue with corn this place may still be an issue. No dedicated kitchen area with some of their sandwich dishes scares me a bit too.

Place does cater to celiac and GF sensitivities- wait staff was pretty clumsy and not the most knowledgeable- girl was more intrigued by all my other intolerances than actually taking my order. Friend got the risotto and loved it- everything is pretty jam packed with dairy so my options were limited- ended up deconstructing a pasta dish with chicken, mushrooms and broccoli rabe- literally came out with no seasoning- if you have a dairy allergy I wouldn't recommend this place.

Eaten from this place a couple of times. Great portion sizes, can accommodate custom orders pretty well. Only issues have been with the chicken either being breaded or cooked on suspect surface. Mostly just stick with the Steak/Chicken bowl and add avocado.

have a menu different than the ones all around the city. sad they got rid of the tapioca rice bun in exchange for the hemp milk bun but still tasty. Also great to have GF bacon at this location as well. brisket is delicious. was told by the staff not to request to toast bun, since they send it through the same conveyor belt as the other wheat-based buns.

Decided to go there since its been awhile since I was able to have GF certified sushi. I got the miso which seemed to bang me up a bit but that may have been the soy. Shared sashimi with guest which was pretty good. Got the seafood noodle soup with rice noodles. Was a good size portion, fresh ingredients, seafood was OK. Had the sake as well which was delicious

  • Spreads Sandwich Shop

    2 starsOctober 24, 2014

441 Park Ave S, New York, NY 10016

This place is not gluten-free. They offer GF bread on any of their sandwiches but don't have separate prep stations and sandwich opens are not GF.

was really skeptical walking into here as it looked like a gluten overload with all the burgers, sandwiches, fried food, etc. but they really did shock me. Once I told the register girls what I was allergic to they were more than accommodating. Sandwich was so delicious I basically inhaled it. It's corn-based which still affects me a tiny but but totally worth it. Getting the chicken fingers and fries next time. One note- not sure they change gloves when handling GF sensitive food so I can't list this as celiac friendly.

Decided to check this place out. Great organic spot, very clean in there, pretty knowledgeable staff. A bit overpriced but quality food. Got a roast beef sandwich with lettuce, avocado and EVOO on whole grain GF bread; very tasty. Portion sizes are a bit to be desired. Also have great organic coffee, health bars and other goodies in there. Shared cutting boards/prep tables scare me a bit but had no adverse effects after my lunch. Will probably return.

Has GF menu, but not all the staff are knowledgeable how the food is prepared. Seems like one of those restaurants that just happens to have menu items that don't have wheat in them, but not necessarily GF. I got a scaled down version of the quinoa and avocado appetizer and then the pork belly for the entree which was good.

  • Uncle Billy's

    2 starsMarch 11, 2014

Clearly marked menu. Sadly had a giant party earlier in the day that wiped out the brisket and ribs. Had the smoked turkey which was dry. Didn't really attempt the sides as I was told most have creams or cheeses. Had a side salad.

  • Lambert's Downtown Barbeque

    3 starsMarch 11, 2014

    401 W 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701

Staff and cooks well versed in everything GF. Got the hanger steak and eggs and was delicious. According to the chef all their meets (w/o sauce) are GF. Didn't attempt the ribs though.

  • La Condesa

    2 starsMarch 11, 2014

Basically GF because they use corn tortillas. Staff was knowledgeable but seems that cross-contamination is a serious possibility. Made my own taco but they just brought out the ingredients on a dish. Delicious but small portion.

  • Mama Fu's

    3 starsMarch 11, 2014

Got the rice noodles with mushrooms and chicken. Pretty good, great portion size. Staff somewhat knowledgeable about GF limitations.

Amazing menu selection, staff extremely knowledgeable. Got a delicious pasta dish with mushrooms and chicken and a pizza with arugula, chicken and avocado.

this place is amazing- went to their new location on 31st & 6th for dinner, twice. Everything I've and my guest have had has been great. I usually get the buccatelli with mushrooms and add grilled chicken. I also get herbed fries as a nice appetizer to snack on. Guests have gotten the tomato soup and fish tacos. The beer is great as well.

technically GF but just a glorified froyo turned rice pudding shop. very tasty (got the regular rice pudding with chocolate crunchies) but everything has dairy in it so that was a bit rough when it was all said and done.

Saw this on FMGF and it totally delivered. Cool interior, extremely courteous and knowledgeable staff. Got the herbed fries which were delicious, friend got the tomato soup for an app and said it was great. I added chicken to the GF buccatelli with mushrooms dish and it was amazing. Sauce was phenomenal. Friend got the special of the day, Pot Pie and enjoyed it as well. Great wine list and I had a GF Belgium beer I never had before..I lied, I had 2.
