USE EXTREME CAUTION!!!! So I went in for dinner, and sat at the bar! I'm VERY thankful for the bartenders knowledge of the "happenings" in the kitchen. I ordered a GF pizza but they were out...so now it came down to pasta because almost EVERY entree has flour in it! Ok, pasta it is....she told me before though that she'd do pizza over pasta because the pasta is cooked in the same water as the regular pasta! What?!?!?!?! This place outwardly says on their menu "proudly offering gluten free options". I told her that wasn't ok and that's cross-contamination. She went back and talked with the chef, they were able to boil a fresh pot of water to make my GF pasta. The meal was good...but if you're going id use EXTREME CAUTION! I told her that the managers and kitchen need to be on board, you have to go all the way and truly offer GLUTEN FREE or don't even bother. She was very receptive and understanding

Absolutely AMAZING!!! I'm visiting the LA area from the Bay Area and I found this gem of a restaurant! When I saw that EVERYTHING on the menu is gluten free I had to go! (Yes, they do also offer regular buns and pasta, but other than that everything is made gluten free and all made in-house! They are also VERY AWARE and cautious of cross contamination procedures) The service was great, staff is very knowledgeable! I really enjoyed meeting Chef Johnny and talking with him! It's not often you find a chef who is so involved in the "front of house" operations in a restaurant! I also loved his passion about cooking! Let me start by saying: SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT!!! I had a side of GF Mac and Cheese to start! Yum! But probably not the best idea as it filled me up a bit. I ordered the Short Rib dinner which came with mashed potatoes, AMAZING! The flavor was great, the meat was tender...I was very happy! Everyone had said save room for dessert...well...ok. I boxed up half my dinner and ordered the S'mores Pie for dessert! The marshmallow topping is torched right at your table, to give the top of the pie a "roasted marshmallow" effect, so delicious! I'm only here until Wednesday, but I will be back! I can't wait to try more of the menu!
