I've only been in this location once, for ice cream. UPDATE: My gf brother ate here after they started carrying gf Udis buns. He's young and male so I didn't get a whole lot of detail from him. His bun came in a sealed package, which he had to open and then assemble his burger. (see this link for a picture, description, nutrition, and ingredients: http://www.culvers.com/menu-and-nutrition/butterburgers/menu-item-details/gluten-free-bun/ ) The allergy grid on their website says the gf buns have eggs. There is risk for cross contamination as "Culver’s ground beef does not contain gluten or wheat; however it is cooked on a grill with breads." The fryer is shared with allergens as well.

Thin crust, very tasty. Basically, the fine print says if you order just cheese, or pepperoni and cheese pizza, it is certified gf, but if you want other toppings, they are from a shared kitchen so you are taking your life in your hands. I got ham and bacon, but I'm not Celiac, so I can't gauge the cross-contamination factor. Their one size is more than what I could eat in one sitting, but not enough to split with someone and be satisfied.

This a new location, and it was super busy when we arrived. I staked our claim at a table, and my mom ordered grilled chicken tenders for me, but when my meal arrived, they were breaded and fried. It turns out they don't have grilled tenders, but they do have grilled nuggets, which they gave me. The breaded chicken (officially known as Chick-n-strips) comes in a cardboard container, but the grilled chicken comes in a round plastic container with a lid. Between the busyness and accidentally ordering something they didn't have, it's easy to see how a mix-up could happen. Fortunately, breaded chicken looks nothing like grilled chicken.Their website menu has "Health/allergen information" tab, which leads to several links including "Allergen, Gluten, & Diabetic Exchange." Clicking on that yields "Gluten information." "Below is a list of our menu items that may fit if you are trying to avoid gluten. Some ingredients such as spices and natural flavors may be proprietary; therefore, we may not have the source listed for those items....Please note that we do not have a gluten free prep area in our kitchens." They list all the gf sauces and dressings as well.

I can have a salad, or grilled chicken sandwich without the bun, or grilled nuggets. I also eat the fries and milkshakes, as long as it's not Oreo flavor. (pro tip: if you are ordering in a group and someone wants Oreo and you want chocolate, it's hard to tell apart. ask for no cherry on yours so you'll know which is which)
700 Railroad Street, New Glarus, WI 53574
There is another location in Belleville. My relatives like to eat here-- the New Glarus location is convenient for them-- so I was glad they have gf pizza, even if it is only one size, 12". I didn't want to be eating a salad while everyone else ate pizza! (Not sure if there's any other gf paces in town. There's local Swiss restaurants, and several bar and grills, Culvers and Subway. The only other pizza place, Ticino Pizza, just changed hands so their website is under construction and I can't find a menu.)If you want to find the price of the 12" at Sugar River Pizza it is listed on their regular menu under "Build Your Own, Pick Your Crust." The crust was thin but held together well. It was dark brown and crispy around the edges. My brother and I almost polished off all 8 slices. My other brother, who is not gf, was still hungry after eating up the regular pizza, so he had the last of the gf pizza. He said it was ok. That means it was good.

There is now a sign on one of the shelves in isle 19 that says there are gf items in isles 19 and 20 and also in the frozen section of the bakery. The signs which hang from the ceiling telling what's in each isle say "gluten free" for isle 19, and "natural foods" for 20. I'm not from the area, or a big city so I'm not used to seeing so many brands and types of products. I don't know how another Madison store would compare. I don't think I've ever seen gf ice cream cones before. (I didn't try any because I just have my ice cream in a bowl.) They had Pamela's products, Lundberg- and DeBoles-brand pasta, Van's gf crackers, and much, much more.

SweetFrog does a great job of offering and labeling allergy-friendly frozen yogurt, unlike Iggys. I did not have to guess if the SweetFrog NY cheesecake flavor had gluten. The label said gluten free. For dairy and gluten, it will either say contains [allergen], or [allergen] free. Other allergens are only listed if the flavor contains them, such as peanuts, eggs, or soy. (It would be obnoxious to put peanut free on every other flavor, including mint.) There are also some non-fat and no-sugar-added flavors (when I was there it was NSA vanilla.)There is chance for cross contamination, especially when it comes to the toppings which range from fruit to Oreos.

The gf crust is relatively thin. It is crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the middle, and delicious all around. Inside the pizza box, it comes in its own pan to prevent cross-contamination. I ate all but 2 of the 8 slices in one sitting. The building is small, and most people call ahead and then pick up their pizza, rather than dining in. A.J.s also delivers to a wide radius outside of Findlay.

Whenever I visit my in-laws (I love em dearly but they don't know much about gf) I get to eat gf baked goods from this bakery. Delicious, although a tad dry, and convenient.
738 W Market St, Tiffin, OH 44883
I don't think there's a gf menu, and a lot of the items on the normal menu are battered and fried. I had their new char-grilled turkey burger without the bun. It comes with mozzarella cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, as well as Bistro sauce on the side in a little plastic cup like salad dressing. I don't know if the sauce is gf. The standard side is fruit. A friend who is also gf asked the waitress about the chili, and she had to ask the manager. The chili is gf. She ate it, and said it was mild rather than spicy. Her side was steamed veggies.

Simple, worry-free and filling

They don't have salads, but any sub can be turned into a "JJ Unwich" meaning a lettuce wrap with the same ingredients and price of a sub, minus the bread. Delicious and filling. Some chip flavors have maltodextrin in them.

My family and I ordered the party pleaser for 5-7 people, which comes with hommous [their spelling] , 2 types of salad: tabbouli*(not gf) and fattoush*(not gf), grape leaves (stuffed with rice and lamb), falafel (deep-fried chickpeas), 4 meats: chicken kabobs, kafta [beef] kabobs, shish kabobs, chicken schawarma, rice, and french fries. For my less adventurous younger brothers, one had their Famous Burger(not gf) and the other had breaded chicken nuggets(not gf) with fries off the kid's menu. The kid's menu is not gf.*not gf. The tabboli has cracked wheat in it and the fattoush has pita chips in it. The adult menu is not marked gf or contains wheat. It is clear what is vegetarian.

Awhile back this summer I went to Cheddars. I didn't ask for a gf menu. I ordered their grilled lemon pepper chicken, and I enjoyed it. So far as I know, none of their soups are gf.
930 Interstate Drive, Findlay, OH 45840
I had their Alice Springs Chicken and a sweet potato with butter and brown sugar for a side. It was all DELICIOUS! (They say their Aussie fries are not gf. I don't know if that is due to cross-contamination or what.)
15115 US 224 EAST, FINDLAY OH 45840
I went there a while ago and the penne pasta was not that great. It was made from corn flour most likely and it was mushy. I don't think it is worth the price.

The Rossilli's in Findlay used to carry gf pasta, but it didn't sell well so they cut it. They still have gf pizza, but they only serve it at supper. I was there at lunch so I ordered the Meg's salad. It was good, but I could get a gf salad anywhere. I was looking forward to gf pasta.
