Staff is knowledgable and can make adjustments - using separate pans and utensils etc. Be sure to ask a lot of questions - their soybean oil (which everything is fried in) has traces of wheat for example, which I wouldn't have known had I not been a total pest. GF bread for grilled cheese is pretty good. Veggie side was phenomenal so I barely missed the fries.

Gluten free heaven. The grocery items are pricy but everything has been so good, it's worth the price tag. I have loved everything I have ordered.

Gluten free options are noted on the menu with pizza crusts and pasta. Do tell them you have an allergy vs preference so that they don't put your pizza in with a wheat crust or use the same utensils. The staff knows the GF menu choices but I get the feeling the kitchen staff is behind when it comes to separate spaces. I got sick once, told them about it and every time since have been perfectly fine.

Lots of gluten free options including burrito bowls, enchiladas, nachos and tacos. Some are marked on the menu. Be sure to ask!

Dedicated kitchen prep and fryers that only handle fries (in olive oil!). No GF buns but they do really good lettuce wraps you can actually pick up. Be sure to let them know right at the beginning of your order that you have an allergy vs a preference so they use the dedicated space. Grass fed beef too!

Last time I went they were so uneducated (even the chef who came out and thought rice was "made of wheat") it was scary. They keep saying they are coming out with a GF menu but it hasn't happened so I haven't been back. One of the cheesecakes (Godiva) is naturally GF though.

Food is good but the staff has zero common sense about GF practices. I typically order for myself and my boyfriend (who does eat gluten) and will ask them to change gloves but then they prepare his first which negates the purpose. Also be sure to tell them not to touch your burrito bowl to other wraps they are filling. Tacos are NOT safe though they are corn because they are warmed on the burrito warmer. Leave no stone unturned.

I think for a diner, this place is pretty top notch. I have had everything from breakfast to salad to pasta to burgers. They are super accommodating with adjusting items from the regular menu to be GF too. In recent visits, all the wait staff seem to be fairly well educated BUT the kitchen staff has a habit of putting regular onion rings on the GF burger platters. I remind them no onion rings when I order but it's not listed on the menu. Ask a ton of questions just to be safe. Dedicated fryer!

Great pizza and sides (pickled vegetables!).

Natural ingredients. All yogurts I have seen are gluten free. Big potential for cross contamination with toppings though separate spoons are provided for each the area is so tight there is bound to be spillage. So good!!

Just wish they were open longer/more hours. Best GF sandwiches I have had.
104 Walnut St, Montclair, NJ 07042
Gluten and lactose free options for every grilled cheese and mac and cheese they have. Good salads too. They seem to have a really solid understanding of food prep too. Cheat meal central.

Sad sad sad gluten free pizza.

Definitely gluten free and has never gotten me sick but so bland I rarely bother.
