Coffee is always very good, and the interior is very nice, but it does get very very busy and you have to wait a long tme for your order to be made. Gluten free items for sale are prepackaged and made off-site.

Food is great, and each meal is made to order so you can request gluten free, soy free, nut free, etc. The staff are English speakers so its easy to communicate special dietary needs. It is a little more expensive than some other run of the mill Thai places, but worth it. The restaurant interior is simple and clean. The waitstaff can be a little disinterested in the cusomers, it depends on who you get.

Love the baked items but they need to work on a few things. 1.They are not easy to find, tucked away around a corner in a small plaza. 2.They do not always have bread, which needs to be rectified, as they advertise it on the website.3.They do a lot of phone order business, so are always on the phone and typically don;t wait on you right away. 4. They are very expensive, because they cater to a rich Fairfield county crowd.

  • Maggie McFly's

I would love to give this restaurant more stars because they have a good selection of gluten free menu items and they have a dedicated gluten free area where the food is prepared. But I can't because the Maggie McFly's in Brookfield needs to train their waitstaff about gluten cross-contamination and how to ensure that the cooks who get your order are notified that it needs to be gluten-free. Last time I was there, the waitress failed to notify the cooks, and did not check the order before delivering it to me. I was given a regular meal, not gluten-free as I'd asked, and sent it back. I no longer trusted them and so I left. I maight add that the Maggies in Southbury is wonderful and very careful about the food they serve to their gluten intolerant patrons, so from now on I will go there instead.

If you need gluten-free food, Stew Leonard's is not the place for you. They have a large buffet/salad bar set up, but there is virtually nothing there that can be garanteed gluten free as it is all prepared in the same kitchen area. Same for the deli section. You are better off going to Shoprite up the street, as they have a large selection of gluten free food(prepackaged) to choose from.
