About Me

I am not celiac. I have leaky gut syndrome, which causes a larger than average list of food allergies. I must maintain a low fat, gluten free, soy free, dairy free diet. It's a giant pain in the ass to dine out. I will only review a place if I've been there multiple times symptom free.

The gluten free menu was limited, but our waiter was excellent. I had the blackened chicken stuffed potato which was great. I can't eat dairy either, so they were careful not to put cheese on it. I have to put it as a non celiac friendly place because there is a risk of cross contamination, but I haven't had symptoms there yet.

I prefer the Sahara location because it's larger with a better specials menu. I love this restaurant chain though! I just give my server my long list of allergies, and he/she points everything I might want to try. I've been back several times and my only disappointment is the snickerdoodle cookies don't agree with me.

Love this place! Salad bar is limited for celiac and those allergic to soy and dairy, but what they do offer is excellent. I've been here several times without incident, and the staff is very helpful and kind.
