Why do places like this bother to have a gluten free menu? Staff seemed to know nothing about gluten free.

I had to rate this place because they have 100% gluten-free beer that actually tastes like beer! New Planet and Green's! Only a 3-star rating for selling gluten-REMOVED beer as gluten-free beer. Remember, those gluten removed beers cannot be called gluten free for a reason! A great place and I am happy they cater to people with our dietary restrictions.

Great gluten-free food selection. Gluten-free fryer for the different loaded tater tots and fries. The menu states all gluten-free sandwiches and burgers come with Udi's bread. Only 4 out of 5 stars because no real gluten-free beer. Only gluten-removed (still harmful for us celiacs). Will definitely be back.

When the server came to the table she had bread, told her we came for the GF menu, so she got a GF flat bread for is which was great. Had the antipasto which came with crostini (not GF), so there were crumbs on the plate. The penne dishes we had tasted great. All of that being said—I (a celiac) did get sick a few hours later.

Very poor service. Staff has no knowledge of how to accommodate people on a strict gluten-free diet. Our table spoke to the manager who did not handle our situation properly and also did not have any knowledge of gluten-free dining.

In my experience at Pig & Fish I found that where the menu states certain items are gluten free, there may be some cross contamination (e.g. The nachos (made in house) and the wings are both fried in a shared fryer that wheat-based batters are fried in. However, the service was great. The server was very patient and willing to accommodate our needs.

I was in the area for the day, and decided to look up a place for lunch ahead of time. I saw Betsy's here on the app and I had to try it. Had an awesome sandwich and got some cookies to take with me. Great quality food, and I actually feel safe eating here (there's always that thought in the back of your mind). As far as the comment about service, it could have been better, but I was there for the food and gluten-free facility.
