We came across this restaurant after being a bit disappointed with options at another gf place. We weren't expecting much considering the lack of reviews but we were totally surprised by this wonderful place. They carry GFCF bread and almost everything can be made gluten free. The menu is extensive and seasonal. We happened to arrive on half off burgers Wednesday. I had a turkey burger on Taffets gfcf kaiser and my sandwich was amazing! My husband had the miles burger which was juicy and well cooked. We had fries which are prepared from a safe fryer. Food was tasty, atmosphere is great and the service was informative and friendly. We will definitively return and make special trips into the city to dine there again.

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a gluten free bakery. Love that almost everything can be done gluten free. All products are organic and all natural. They even offer sodas with no preservatives (check the label). Everything is clearly labeled on the menu and there are many choices. Atmosphere is great, prices are very reasonable and the food was yummy. They even offer gf desserts and some are vegan as well.

Awesome bakery with reasonable prices for gluten free. I am also dairy free and was pleased to know they have vegan options as well but they sell out fast. The aroma when you walk in is intoxicating!

There are no gluten free options available and the staff doesn't know what gluten is. This restaurant should not be on this app.

I have been eagerly awaiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The restaurant has a modern seating style where you order then take a number and they bring the food to your table. The staff were all extremely friendly and wonderfully attentive. They answered tons of questions about their policies of the gluten free orders. I really appreciated the sticker that verified my order was gluten free and handled properly. The manager met with me and talked to me about their dairy free options as well and took a photo of the ingredients for the gluten free bun so I could share with my family who are also gluten and dairy free. My burger was had been a really long time since I got a great burger on a good bun. Highly recommend this place. Ask for Alex the manager if you have any questions.

Love this place! I had the Ceviche as an app and it was enormous, plenty to share or eat as a main course. I also ordered the camarones a la parilla which is grilled shrimp over corn cakes. AMAZING! Wish they were near my home town.

I found this restaurant by doing a search for gluten free restaurants in coconut grove. I called the restaurant in advance to ask if they would be able to accommodate me (I'm gluten and dairy free) and they reassured me they had many options available. It was very busy and the restaurant was packed when we arrived. If you drive, park in the coconut walk garage since it is literally next door. We luckily had a reservation and were seated immediately. I explained to the server about my restrictions and he told me they would be able to modify most of the items but needed to know what I was considering. I immediately asked about the ceviche. He knew exactly which ones were safe for me to eat. I ordered a medium Los cabos ceviche and I really wish I ordered a large. It was spectacular. My husband and friend both ordered the ceviche spoon sampler and raved about all the options. I was extremely jealous I couldn't eat them all but was happy with my options. I ordered the filet with chimicurra sauce and my husband had the mahi mahi mango verde. Both dishes were outstanding. The proportions were very generous and we both struggled to finish our meals. We would have happily taken our leftovers but bc we were traveling we sadly had to leave them behind. I would describe the atmosphere as lively and energetic. Although it seemed noisy at times we did not have difficulty holding a conversation. I can't wait to visit Miami again so I can return to this lovely restaurant.

Came here based on the review posted from another diner. First visit...loved everything, my meal, the view, my waiter. I totally appreciated the dedicated gluten free menu and how thoughtful and considerate they were to my allergies. I had the local gulf shrimp cocktail and the grouper sandwich served on a gluten free bun. The bread was what all GF bread is like so I can't complain but the fish was lovely and overall the food was very good. Then I went back. I originally rated this place as five stars but was so disgusted during my second visit I wanted to give them zero stars. We sat at the bar area bc it was really crowded. I notified the waitress that I was gluten free and ordered from the dedicated menu. We ordered an app but all of our food was delivered at once. First mistake. Then I look at my side salad and there are croutons in it. Huge 2nd mistake. I sent it back and start eating our shrimp cocktail app first. When we finished it I put to the side of the table to be taken away. The server comes back with the salad but never takes the finished plate with shrimp tails on it. Then I cut into my fish and it is raw inside. 3rd and final. I wanted to cancel it but the waitress just went to the kitchen and started another fish. At this point I start eating my sides and salad while I waited. By the time my fish was finally cooked I had eaten the sides and so the fish was brought to me with nothing to accompany it and so it was just a salty piece of fish. Btw, my empty dish of shrimp tails sat there until we left. I was really disappointed to see no adjustments or courtesies were provided on the check. I will ever eat there again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. They have their own gluten free fryer so you can get homemade tortilla chips and they carry rice flour for battered calamari! The guacamole is addicting and the BBQ ribs are spectacular. Chef Mark hosts special vegan and gluten free nights where they make a GFCF Boston creme pie which made me want to cry it was so good. The service has been fantastic and so supportive...they double check and run back and forth to the kitchen to make sure your food is prepared for your allergies. I love this place and dine their once a week. It can get pricey but it is so worth it.

I love both the tortilla press and the cantina. Chef Mark offers so many gluten free choices and will also accommodate my dairy free requests. I prefer the cantina since they have a separate fryer for their chips but again, both restaurants deserve high marks. I highly recommend the coffee BBQ ribs which are always available at the cantina.
