We love the Uncle Maddio's chain, and this brand new store in High Point did a great job for us. When we said we needed to be gluten free, we were asked if it was an allergy. We said yes, and the employee immediately got to work wiping down the prep area and changing his gloves. Meanwhile, the manager chatted with us about their procedure and how careful they are to avoid cross contamination. All the ingredients for our pizza were gotten from unopened containers under the counter. Our pizza was delicious, and we enjoyed it so much we ordered a second "take and bake" pizza to take home with us for the next day! We had no reactions at all. Highly recommended.

We had a good experience here. We asked about the gluten free menu, and the manager went and got it for us right away. They didn't have any gf bread that day, but I had nachos and hubby had a baked potato with cheese and bacon. The manager made our food himself, and let us know that he had changed his gloves. We didn't get sick, and we would eat here again. It's not gourmet, but we felt safe.

Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have three different flavors of gluten free wraps. Hubby ordered tuna salad on a garden veggie gf wrap and I ordered egg salad, also on a garden veggie wrap. The girl making the wraps came and found us to tell us that the tuna salad could be cross contaminated, because when they put it on regular bread if there is too much on the sandwich, they will put the excess back in the container. The egg salad would have been like that too, but she had personally just made the egg salad, so she knew it was safe, and hubby changed his order to have egg salad also. I was really impressed with that level of understanding of cross contamination, and the care that was taken. The wraps tasted good, and we did not have any reactions to our meal. Major kudos to Mike's, we will definitely go back.

Best gluten free pizza I've had yet, and a very well trained and pleasant staff. When we told them we needed our food to be gluten free for allergy reasons (which seems to be the phrasing most likely to be understood by restaurants), the employee immediately changed his gloves, and explained to us about how everyone on the line would be using fresh ingredients and separate utensils to keep our pizza safe for us. What a pleasure that was! And the pizza was so good, with a thin crust that actually crunched, and really fresh tasting toppings, including the option of vegan cheese. If I lived here, I would absolutely be a regular.

What a great bakery and cafe! It's a completely gluten free facility, so everything in there is safe to eat. We picked up a loaf of sandwich bread along with several baked sweets, and everything was delicious. They offer sandwiches and entrees, too, and coffee. You can eat there (the place is cute and inviting) or carry out. Highly recommended.

My husband had the jambalaya, I had the black beans and caramelized corn. Both were served over white rice (like everything else on the menu). Both were delicious. Everything (including the gluten free items) comes with a piece of bread, so be sure to ask for no bread to be put on your plate. We really enjoyed our lunch, and had no ill effects from it. However, if I hadn't researched ahead of time, I would never have known that this place had gluten free menu items, since the white board menu didn't mention it at all.

We had a very enjoyable meal here and we did not have any reactions to it afterwards. Tijuana Flats does not have a gluten free menu or give any gluten information, so you need to know ahead of time what you can order here. The hard tacos, chips, and corn tortillas are all fried in shared oil with the flour tortillas, so don't order anything fried here. The beans (black and refried), rice, meats, and queso are all safe. I had soft corn tacos and asked for them not to be fried. My husband had enchiladas, which are usually dipped in the oil, but he asked for them not to be dipped. All of our requests were met, and our food was delicious.

This review is only regarding this particular Qdoba location. We ordered soft corn tortillas, which are listed on Qdoba's website as gluten free. We were given flour tortillas, which we did not realize until we were halfway through our meal. We feel stupid about that, and it is our fault that we weren't more careful, but the fact remains that we were given flour tortillas when we specified corn, so we were glutened. Besides that, the staff was not friendly, the bathrooms were not clean (10 minutes after opening), and when we showed the flour tortillas to the person working the register and explained what happened, we didn't even get an apology. Overall, just a really bad experience. Please be more careful than we were.
