A lot of items might not be labeled in the deli as gf, but if you ask about it, they always have the list of ingredients or will ask the chef. They are terrific about it. I eat here several times a week and am able to get lots of different options. Usually a couple soups are gf--chili always is--but you might have to ask. I had a gf quiche last week made with potato crust--excellent!! Highly recommend this place. Staff is friendly, local business, family operated, and they use a lot of local products.

I love HopCat from my pre-gf days, but they have next to nothing that's actually gf now. Chili and salads, that's about it. Fried items have contamination issues (including taco shells). They do have ciders, meads, and liquor.

This is the same owners as Cherry Deli and same options but with different sandwich names. They usually have a couple types of gluten-free bread from local gf bakery Charlotte's--excellent bread. A lot of their sandwiches are a little too packed full for the bread to hold up; it's best if they can wipe the grill and heat the bread a little, but you still might need a fork. They also have some gf soups.

Not the best service always, but they have gf items marked on the menu, and I enjoy being able to get sushi with gf soy sauce--just ask for it and they bring it out.

So, so excellent. The servers don't always know if certain things are gf or not, but they seem well-trained about asking the chef. We've had the chef come out and ask how we liked everything before. They have gf alternatives for some items like their mac and cheese with risotto instead of pasta. I recommend the black bean stew.

I had a disappointingly bad experience with the gf pizza here. It tasted great and I love the place (although pricy for a gf pizza), but I'm sensitive to gluten and had an awful reaction about half an hour later. Wouldn't do it again unless I hear they've changed their gf precautions. Bummed.

If you ask what's gluten-free, the servers can point everything out to you. Most of the curry dishes are safe. A lot of their dishes can be made gluten-free by excluding certain ingredients, like peanuts(cross-contaminated) and string beans (fried in oil also used with breaded items). Excellent food at a very reasonable price.
