I have celiac disease and this was my first visit to this restaurant on Sunday evening. Business was slow, which is usually a good thing, for calming cross contamination concerns. My wife and I both ordered GF so that she could share her leftover items. We had chicken lettuce wraps for starters and she had chicken & broccoli and I had shrimp & cashews, both with brown rice. The food was good and service was okay. But with the check came two fortune cookies! What?? Are you kidding me, what part of Gluten Free don’t you understand??? Apparently most of it. Not a good feeling, sinking you might say… But the worst was yet to come late that evening, in the middle of the night, Monday morning and all the way into Tuesday evening as I write this. YES, I WAS GLUTENED and I feel terrible! If you too have celiac disease I suggest you stay away from this restaurant. Sorry, I just report it as I see it and feel it.

They have a dedicated gluten-free menu, and the food is very good. Many of the items on the regular menu are naturally gluten-free except for the bread, breaded items and the fried items. As a bonus, they allowed me to order a third side dish in place of the garlic toast that normally came with my meal!

Monica's has a very wide variety of GF menu items. I had a Caesar salad, dinner roll and the baked ziti with shrimp. The entire restaurant staff from top to bottom seemed very knowledgeable in gluten-free food preparation. The flavor of the food was excellent and the dinner rolls are to die for! I have celiac disease and I had absolutely no problems with the food. After the meal I was stuffed so I ordered the GF cheesecake to go. This was my first visit to Monica's but I will surely be back! I just wish they were in my hometown.

First off, a very helpful waitstaff. Secondly a very nice GF menu to select from. The food was very tasty also, bonus! This was my second visit to this restaurant and I'm from out of state (Iowa). I had as an appetizer, the angry clams, very good. The penne pasta with marinara sauce excellent also. My most recent visit I had a bacon cheese burger with tapioca bun... Mighty tasty! No problems whatsoever and I have celiac disease. Buon appetito

This Outback did a great job meeting my celiac needs. From the menu to the waitress to the cook it was all perfect. They even have a dedicated food prep area for gluten free including fresh gloves. The food was good too, bonus! Bob

I had a bacon cheeseburger with home fries. The staff made me a little nervous, from the waitress to the cook. I felt like they didn't have a lot of experience preparing gluten free meals and I was right. My burger came out with a bun! Things they did right were clean the grill properly and the manager hand-delivered the burger to the table and insured me it was gluten-free but of course it wasn't. So that meal went in the garbage and the second one was perfect. I feel it is our job to educate when necessary. Educated tonight, one waitress, one cook and one manager. It was obvious that they cared and wanted to do the right thing. I will go back! Bob

Awesome burger and fries! I had a bacon cheeseburger with a gluten-free bun, excellent. They have a dedicated fryer for french fries so there is no chance of cross-contamination. They offer a printed and dated GF menu that gets updated on a regular basis. Their seasoning salt is also gluten-free. Beemer Bob

I was very disappointed, there were very few GF selections available. Their GF menu consisted of nothing more than a spreadsheet listing allergies and what items contained the allergen. Not many selections for children either. I had the pizza, The crust was good but I did not care for their tomato sauce, but then again, you'll have that. Beemer Bob

Very enjoyable! The GF pancakes were very good. My wife joined my daughter and I in enjoying the GF pancakes though she did not need to. I asked the staff to clean the griddle extra carefully because of my celiac disease, They were more than happy to oblige me. On the downside, was the waiting time to be seated because of how busy they were. Also the restaurant is located in a state park and you have to pay to gain access into the park. Beemer Bob

Excellent, only the tortillas were not gluten-free. My order taker removed their gloves, washed their hands and then put on new gloves and followed my order all the way through to the end.
