Was looking for a place to eat when in State College this weekend. Was wanting to try eview Callao Cafe but as soon as I stepped inside I knew I could not stay. It smelled so strong of coffee I started to get a headache!e Some coffee I am ok with but this I knew wasn't going to work. I grabbed a menu sand left without being able to explain why we were walking out. Sorry I wasnt able to stay so my review is based on my reaction to the strong smell.

Waiter was very nice.! If he didn't know answer to my questions he checked to make sure it was ok for me to eat. Also the complimentary salsa was to spicy for me and he said I could get a milder salsa but it was different. It was perfect for me! I got the lunch taquitos and they turned on a different fryer for me. I just had to wait longer for my food! The food was delicious and even better , I didn't get sick!

Did not know they had a gluten free menu until I called them. My waiter was very nice and understood celiac/gluten free. Has a notice in menu to request to have salads mixed in separate container. Food was very good.

So happy to see review that said they had gluten free rolls. Since it was almost a year ago I called to check and they said they do. I asked for a gluten free menu on arriving and it showed that they did not have gluten free rolls. I asked the waitress and she said they do! I was soo happy because I was going to leave. So my burger and bun was delicious!! I also got the fries w/o the salt. They were very hot and stayed that way along time! Our waitress was great! She answered all of my questions and if she didnt know something she checked into it!!!! Will definitely be back! Thanks for the best gluten free rolls I have tasted!!! Gave it 4 stars due to info on GF menu being wrong!! Other than that it would definitely be a 5!!

Limited gluten free menu. You can't eat their free taco chips but you can take your own.

First time having gluten free pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. Reminded me of a thin crust pizza. My main complaint was that on gluten free menu it doesn't state the size of the pizza. So I was looking at their main menu and it said that gluten free pizza was 16". I was then told by the waitress that it was a misprint and for $10.95 you get a 12" pizza. Well then you need to make a change on your menu.
