  • Beau Thai Restaurant

    4 starsOctober 29, 2014

    730 NW 21st Ave, Portland, OR 97209

All the curries or gluten-free, which is pretty standard for thai food, but they're delicious.

  • Denicola's Restaurant

3520 Southeast Powell Boulevard, Portland, OR 97202

Only go here if you want very few options and days of pain afterwards.

    3 starsSeptember 02, 2014

    721 NW 9th Ave, Suite 175, Portland, OR 97209

There are plenty of options here and they are clearly marked but it's a little pricey for what it is.

One of my favorites. Their signature tali sauce is AMAZING. Plus: you can ask for the bowl "veganized," which means no cheese or sour cream.

  • Sizzle Pie

    4 starsSeptember 02, 2014

    624 E Burnside St, Portland, OR 97214

Awesome gluten-free crust, but it's made in the same oven as gluten-y ones. So not celiac friendly.

  • Hotlips Pizza Portland

    1 starsSeptember 02, 2014

2211 SE Hawthorne Blvd, Portland, OR 97214

They offer a gluten-free crust but it's likely cooked in the same oven as gluten ones. But also: it's kind of disgusting.

  • Zell's Cafe

Just kind of meh as far as breakfast joints in Portland go.

  • Pad Thai Kitchen

    5 starsSeptember 02, 2014

2309 SE Belmont St, Portland, OR 97214

Most everything on the menu can be adapted to be gluten-free. Just ask your server about options and they'll let you know what they can do. Our staples: the pineapple curry and drunken noodles (made with Tamari instead of soy sauce, of course).

So good! Their guacamole is to die for.

  • Petunia's Pies & Pastries

Some of the best baked goods I've had in my life.

The best. Their Hawthorne Mac is the best mac and cheese I've ever had, gluten or no. And it doesn't even have dairy. Amazing.

  • Fire on the Mountain

Love their sauces and the wings. Everything is clearly marked. I've never been sick from eating here.

  • The Slide Inn

    1 starsSeptember 02, 2014

2348 SE Ankeny St, Portland, OR 97214

After my first time at Slide Inn I was thrilled. Lots of gluten-free options. But the second time: they brought me fish and chips that were not gluten free on accident. While they have a separate fryer, it's not safe because of human negligence.

  • Pizzicato

They can't guarantee 100% gluten free because of a small kitchen and the pizza crust is meh, but the caprese is good.
