Gluten Free blogger turned tweeter. Celiac since 2005. Travel regularly, eat out twice a week. I like quality gluten free fare with great service.
4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd #3005, Atlanta, Georgia 30346
Fantastic, multi-page gluten free menu! Lots of choices from appetizers to desserts. I actually don't like cheesecake, but I tried the Gf cheesecake and it was ok. I love the Shepherd's pie (meaty!) Americana burger (w fried crispy onions) great bun (all gf buns succumb to crumble) and kale-quinoa citrus salad (filling!). The Georgia Peach frozen drink is a must try! Sweet potato fries and regular fries are both tasty. Great service, great (bit noisy) ambiance. Sports bar area too.

The bakery is cute, like out of a storybook. There is a drive-thru and outdoor seating, but no indoor seating. I enjoyed the texture and flavor of the bittersweet chocolate gluten free cake/torte. I wish they offered more gf choices, I believe it varies daily. See photos attached.
658 West New York Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720
Tasty gf pizza. Also enjoyed the caprese salad. Did not try the gf pasta. Very casual venue. Two outside tables overlook parking lot. Server seemed knowledgeable and I did not react.
108 South Magnolia Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771
This quaint cafe has fresh, healthy options like kale chips and smoothies and wraps. She grilled me a ham & provolone quesadilla with pesto mayo. It was amazing! There is not a gf menu- she has gf bread and tortillas to modify stuff. You can watch her make it and use clean prep techniques. It's very small and there is outdoor seating to people watch on the town square.
308 West Ponce De Leon Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030
The food was great quality. The service was thorough and I did not get sick. GF selections are notated on menu. The atmosphere is funky yet a tad upscale. Frankly, I was disappointed in the menu. When I think Mediterranean I want Spanish food like Spanish Tortilla (egg dish) and Spanish paella (seafood/rice dish). Sadly neither were on menu. I dislike Greek food and lamb so I was limited. I chose a tapas appetizer and seafood soup. Since there was no bread or salad w meal, I left hungry. The food was tasty but seafood soup as a meal instead of paella is a silly menu idea.

Wow! A few miles from the busy Broadway area. Awesome, cooked to order gf crepes. Very meat-packed and hearty, were our choices: BBQ chicken and maple apple bacon. I preferred the maple one. Plus then I didn't need a dessert crepe after the sweet maple w savory bacon. Best meal in Nashville by far.
160 N. 2nd Ave., Nashville, TN 37201
They are a gf fave of ours when we travel since we eat out so much and once we've tried local cuisine and maybe or not dodged the gf bullet, we look for old faithfuls. They never bring the bread, always on point. I get pasta w meat sauce and side of chicken or sausage. Salad w pesto dressing and free spumoni ice cream. This location was not crowded, a quiet respite off Noisy Broadway.
501 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214
It is like a fast good joint. The cornbread is NOT gluten free. The gf menu is on a cardboard stand by the register. There are lots of gf options. I had half rack ribs w sweet BBQ sauce, green beans, and real mashed potatoes. (Cold). The food was fine. One cashier was gf aware and one was not. Our group of 8 dined in and was out in 40 min. Quick!
3128 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70115
Fresh, flavorful, and good variety on separate GF menu. They told me the tortilla chips did not have a dedicated fryer. I ordered and inhaled my delectable dish of Brisket tacos, sweet potato chips, fried plantains. My pal, a local, said she's adding this spot to her favorites!
33 Meddin Drive, Tybee Island, GA 31328
There is no view of the water. They have a limited menu but the food came recommended by the B&B where we stayed. The margarita was a sticky sweet yucky mix, but the porta Bella veggie plate was good, (for $15 it better be). The place is extremely casual (banjo music and a man w his shirt off). It's ok, but not a must-go.
7921 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31406
I had the pulled pork platter and baked beans. (I'm always scared to try cole slaw since mayo is used on bread so much and could get crumbs in it.) they just handed us an allergen guide, not a GF menu. The food was cheap, hot, and good. I was too full to finish mine. The place is not in historic Savannah and its family friendly and casual.

We tried to go at 3:45 pm on a Tues and they were closed.

So GLAD I went alone and did not subject my bf to this- a vegetarian/vegan place, but shockingly only a few gf options! There was a long wait, the dining room is very bohemian/hippy, and the older lady at the hostess stand was not polite (here in The South, hospitality standards r high). My food was gross and I left hungry. i had a spring roll type appetizer that tasted like it just had lettuce and a couple light veggies in it, with a somewhat tasty orange dipping sauce. The salad was iceberg lettuce w a spicy, yucky dressing. i had hoped to find mixed greens w several veggies on it and a homemade herbed vinagrette- like at Farm Burger-not! I had pad Thai for main meal and the sauce tasted like something from a powder mix. Overly thick, dreamsicle-colored, chalky bland flavor with a disjointed pepper kick in it. The noodles were cooked to mush. Gross. I had wanted to try the 3 bean chili, but at $13 a bowl, it was overpriced. The server was attentive. Do not recommend. Overpriced Nightmare.
5610 Glenridge Dr NE #110, Sandy Springs, GA 30342
I love it! They deliver!!! The gf crust is great (lots of herbs, thin crust, a bit mealy, but not soggy!) I love to order the portobello mushroom appetizer and a gf pizza w Italian sausage, mushrooms, and tomato. They have Green's gf beer. Noisy, classy, family place w lots of kids.
500 Ashwood Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30338
I love their muddled drink (strawberry lime something- nonalcoholic) and anothet smoothie-type drink, too. Awesome. Many gf options. i usually get the spicy beef dish w brown rice. We have been disappointed at the veggie sides at times- over-seasoned and crunchy. The service is usually good, but they often fail to bring out my bf's egg rolls before the meal and its annoying. Long waits at times. We often eat at the bar to watch sports.
4749 ASHFORD DUNWOODY ROAD, DUNWOODY GA 30338
Limited gf menu: meat kabob, chicken? or a mediocre gf pasta. Every time I get the pasta, it's not cooked uniformly and there r hard pieces. It is nice to have salad- just order w/o croutons. My bf gets discounts here so we go a few times a year.
4705 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. A-2, Atlanta, GA 30338
Good food (gf bread for sandwiches, although a bit dry- but just happy to have it at all!) build your own sandwich, baked potatoes, and sometimes soup, plus potato chips and froyo I believe are both gf.
123 Perimeter Center West, Dunwoody, GA 30346
Exceptional service, free peanuts, oodles of toppings, good awareness of gluten free and cc, yum!
4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Space #3035, Atlanta, GA 30346-1513
I agree w the previous user. The gluten free pasta is so-so, and its awful watching everyone else eat lasagne and bread. Good service, and the kitchen person comes to the table to talk to u and deliver ur food to avoid cc.
4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd Ne, Atlanta, GA 30346
Great food, exceptional service. I get a grilled chic sandwich w/o bun, just wrapped in lettuce ( i add their BBQ sauce) and waffle fries. Yum
4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30346
It's upscale, the service was not great both times I went. The gluten free options were like fish and veg. The food was ok. I got sick from it, but I'm a very sensitive celiac. The second time, I just had a drink at the bar and watched my friends eat sushi. Boohoo
8880 Salrose Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912
I recommend the GF pasta bolognese! Yum! Large portions. Don't get an appetizer- you will be too full.
14261 S Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers,FL 33912
Many selections on GF menu. I like any fish w mango salsa, mashed potatoes, mussels, and the brownie is ok - fun to be able to eat dessert. The butter sauce on fish upset my stomach once. This place is a staple when I'm in town.
209 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30303
Awesome! I had the pernil (pork) sandwich. It was succulent and divine! I also delighted in the Limon drink and fried plantains. Perfecto! Gluten free spectacular!
3829 Clairmont Rd, Atlanta, GA 30341
Basic meats, fish, and potatoes/veg naturally gf. Aware of cc issues. Gfree dessert: Nutella hazelnut torte. Amazing, historically accurate WWII themed restaurant on airport w nice runway view.
3330 Piedmont, Atlanta, GA 30305
A staple. The sandwiches are phenomenal. Request gf menu from cashier. Some locations have jumbo loaded BBQ chicken baked potatoes. The bread is wrapped w own plastic knife for clean prep. Free frozen dessert. I love the light sports drink they have. It's a casual, cafeteria style atmosphere w attention to quality, preservative- free ingredients. I don't risk the salad bar,
3101 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
Expensive- you must pay $50 a person for endless meat and buffet. The men come around w various meats cooked Brazilian style on skewers and slice u a piece if your tag is on the green side. Flip it to red if u want them to skip u. Fried plantains and fine cheeses r great also. Must have the Caiphirinia drink! The mgr will tour u around the buffet of sides to show what's gf.
1230 Ashford Crossing, Atlanta, GA 30346
Noisy, but fun sportsbar atmosphere. Bun crumbles, but it's tasty. Mgr brings gf entree to table. I frequent here, it's close to home. I LOVE the nacho-like loaded freshly fried potato chip appetizer. I eat it as a meal. I also like the burgers, BBQ chicken sandwich, and fish. The salads have been inconsistent. Once the dressing was so vinegary it was indelible.
4530 Olde Perimeter Way #200, Atlanta, GA 30346
This is five minutes from my house and I didn't feel comfortable w cc possibility there. My gluten eating bf ate gluten food and he didn't like it (and he likes every restaurant), so we haven't been back. A shame, since it's so close.
3365 Piedmont Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30305
I agree, it's too bad they dont have gfree fries. But their beef is 2 die 4. I get a burger on gf bun w pork belly and veg. The salads w gf dressings are also unusual and delectable! One had raw fingerling potatoes in it! Wish they gave on-duty law enforcement free lemonade or tea or a discount like Yeah! Burger does.
90 Perimeter Center W, Dunwoody, GA 30346
Expensive and limited menu- gf menu lacks prices. I had a mediocre salad. I had pork medallions at one in Florida that were fine. This place is 5 minutes from my house and I haven't and won't be back.
1140 Hammond Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30328
Lots of sauce selection, but only one kind of gf pasta. I didn't like my sauce or pasta. My 'sauce' was like an Italian version of poco de gallo, nothing like what I had in Italy. This place is minutes from my house and I haven't been back.
2860 Lavista Rd, Decatur, GA 30033
I liked the dips w gf bread app but was unimpressed with my fish. The southern green beans were SO salty it was unpalatable. Expensive for fish and veg I could get anywhere.
1168 Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318
Grilled gluten free buns, onion rings, and fries. I like the onion rings I make at home w orgran gf bread crumbs better, but still ok. I LOVE their hot dogs. It's a fun, friendly, trendy, enviro-friendly place where u order at counter and they bring to your table where u eat w real silverware.
45 Park Square Ct, Roswell, GA 30075
Love, love the cinnamon cupcake, apple pie in a jar, and the devil went down to Georgia! My boyfriend said the devil one was his fave gf cupcake ever! He thought it was too quiet in there and needed to offer more drinks, as we went down the street to Roswell Providions for his coffee after. I think they should partner with Sally's and sell their freezer items for people to take home.
1000 Marietta St NW, Atlanta, GA 30318
The food and gluten free beer were good. Their microbrew gf is a little sweet. They had lamb, duck eggs, a paper- thin crusted gf pizza, tacos on corn tortillas, etc. No dedicated fryer. No fish n chips, as they did in 2010. Trendy and a bit pricey. Mediocre service.
749 Moreland Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
I had the gf pizza -$2 up charge. It cost $11 and was the size of a large dinner plate. The quality and freshness of the toppings is amazing! Yum! The crunchy, rolled edge of the crust is great and the texture of the crust is neither crumbly, not gummy. The flavor of the crust isn't all that great- needs olive oil n spices, but it is a great, uncrumbly vehicle for toppings!
475 Bill Kennedy Way SE, Atlanta, GA 30316
It opens at 4 pm. This would have been a useful thing to know, as it's lunchtime. When I called she said they offer many gf items on menu. Would like to go some day, after 4pm.
57 Broad St NW, Atlanta, GA 30303
I called and they said the can make a bread less sandwich or a Greek salad. The website didn't mention anything about gluten free either. This must be a mistaken listing, it's not gf friendly. I'm not going. Why would I?
