The selection Of toppings was very good. Staff was friendly and it was fairly quick. The pizza was pretty good not great. If you are Celiac you should be cautious here.

The staff were super helpful. They informed me that cross contamination was still possible but they would do their best to make sure I was taken care of. It went on a different screen and they put on new gloves. They also informed me about toppings that weren’t gluten free. Lastly they held putting my wife’s non gluten order in so they would come out at the same time since it takes longer for the gluten crust to cook. Thanks 1000 Degrees!

Good pizza and good GF options. One of the few “design your own” pizza places that takes cross-contamination precautions. They cook the crust on foil, change gloves and use a dedicated pizza cutter. There is always a risk of cross-contamination with a pizza place but I have Celiac and have never gotten sick here. (Unlike Mod which blatantly cross-contaminates their GF crusts.) I always get pesto instead of pizza sauce just to be on the safe side since they spread the regular pizza sauce with the ladle. You could probably ask for fresh stuff from the back if you really wanted the tomato sauce. It takes them a few extra minutes to pre-bake the GF crust because it takes longer than the regular ones but I just have them write down what I want on it, pay and have them bring it out. My go-to for carry out GF pizza in Sugar Land.

Great gluten free pizza. They will change gloves and the cutter when asked. Never been glutened here and been several times.

They offer a gluten free in a 10 inch, which is the perfect size for one person (or two)! They make sure there is no cross contamination! I’ve never had a problem, very good crust and pizza!

Careful with gluten free prep. Ask for them to clean up and get fresh sauce.

I was so happy to find 1,000 degrees in Glastonbury, and meet Joseph and Jacqueline the owners. Their gluten free pizzas are amazing and they also offer salad and even beer choices. Not a dedicated kitchen but I had no side effects at all. Highly recommend!

Staff asked if my gluten free order was a preference or for medical reasons. They cleaned the counter top, changed gloves and laid foil down before setting my GF crust on it. But... they didn’t have a separate sauce container and ladle for GF. So since I ordered my kids a regular pizza and my own GF, I watched them use the same ladle to smear the same sauce around the regular crust and then again on my GF crust. They should really just have a separate small container with its own ladle to keep it free from cross contamination. The toppings were also all pulled from the same containers (Subway style where they make it to your order) so there is another chance of CC there. They seemed to take precautions to avoid CC when they cooked the pizza. I ate it and didn’t experience any glutening symptoms. The pizza was good, but not amazing. I thought they were skimpy on the toppings. They could make a few minor modifications to their prep procedures/training and this would be safer for Celiacs.

Fabulous 10” Neapolitan pizza crust with a “normal” pizza crust texture. No cardboard crust here! Wings and salads can also be done gluten free. Tell them if you have an allergy and they will take extra precautions.

The staff asks about allergy or preference. They take toppings from bins that haven’t been used by other pizzas. I always love this place.

Messy prep area with flour everywhere and double dipping in toppings the day we visited. We left and had them cancel our order. If you are eating gluten free for health reasons and not as I diet choice, I would avoid based on our experience and high probability of cross contamination.

I have suspected celiacs or a gluten allergy that cannot be confirmed. I have only been to this location, but I have never been disappointed or had an issue with the 6 times I have been here over the past year. Have gluten free pizza crust and most toppings are gluten free. Staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination and grab fresh ingredients from the back and have a dedicated pizza cutter. The owner has a true passion for quality in his food gluten free and non gluten free. Will return again and again. My favorites are the garlic cheese bread and anything with the pesto sauce on it.

Let them know right away that you’ll be ordering gluten free since they need to precook the crust a bit before adding the toppings. You’ll have to request that they take the extra steps to use new sauce from the back, change gloves and use a clean cutter etc.

They took great precaution to avoid cross contamination and asked if it was an allergy or preference for gluten free. Never got sick and the pizza is delicious!

They whipped down the entire work space and put tin foil down and then had its own metal tray for the crust on top of that. The pizza was delicious and they have tons of creative options. And your pizza cooks in like 2 minutes.

Staff cooked wood fire pizza on an individual pan and used a separate pizza cutter to avoid cross contamination.

I used to work here. Just inform the staff of a gluten allergy and they will take care of it easily and safely for your needs!

Manager was very patient and explained how they could only try to reduce cross contamination. But as another reviewer mentioned, the sauce is clearly contaminated as the ladlle touches the dough as it is being applied. Perhaps if you just get oil or maybe ranch dressing (not sure if it is in a bottle) you would be ok. But the manager also discouraged me from getting a salad as he said there could be cross contamination, since those ingredients are the same as are used on the pizza. I went to Chipotle (in the same plaza) instead, although honestly I don't know if they are much better. At least the gluten is limited to the tortillas there.

Staff is coached on washing hands and changing gloves but the sauce and cheese and other toppings are pulled from the same containers as the regular pizzas (sauce is dipped and spread with the same utensil...completely contaminated). There was no dedicated prep area either. Pizza was probably delicious but I'm fairly certain I would have been terribly ill after. Unfortunately not Celiac safe.

Staff went to great lengths to keep my safe as they do for all GF customers. They are well trained regarding cross contamination and are eager to please. The pizza was good. The facilities are clean. A great experience overall.

While many good practices, the red sauce ladle touches dough and gloved hands that have touched wheat dough reach into containers for cheese and toppings. That said, I ordered oil instead of red sauce and I didn't have a reaction.

Went to this newly opened assembly line (kind of like chipotle) pizzeria. Was ecstatic to witness that not only did they have a gf crust option, but procedures are in place and followed to avoid cross contamination. Attendant puts new gloves on, puts the gf crust on a platter with a piece of foil big enough to protect the pizza from contact with any food remnants in the oven. they even have a special cover to keep the outer crust from burning. Crust was decent and the topping and sauce were excellent and fresh!

They have gluten free crust but it is prepared where the regular crust is prepared. Also they use the same sauce and spatula that they use in the regular pizza so the sauce is completely contaminated. Really wish people understood cross contamination. This place is not safe for celiacs!!!
