Wonderful find! Friendly staff, amazing GF sandwich options!
Absolutely wonderful food and service! My daughter and I opted to split our arepas as we just couldn’t decide on only one— there were so many great combos we wanted to try!!

This place is a GEM! I loved the variety of arepas, the serving size holy cow, and the flavors! Not to mention the fact they take GF/celiac pretty seriously. I felt great after eating, and felt like I had a decent conversation with the woman at the counter that made me feel safe. Would eat again, every single day.
So so so good. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and adorable on the inside.
Great spot, loved my arepa (all are GF) and the limeade (papelon?) was so good. I think I had the Santa Monica but swapped sausage for avocado. Large portion for a good price.
Support small business! All arepas are naturally GF. Great food and atmosphere. A lovely lunch, but it might not keep a bigger stomach full.
Such a great experience here! I got the Santa Monica breakfast arepa and it was delicious. They also have smoothie bowls and lots of other gluten free options. Highly recommend!!
Awesome lunch. We got the Catirota Arepa and it was delicious. Super nice staff. There was a Find Me GF sticker on the window so I knew it would be good! Looking forward to going back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I have never had symptoms from it and the food is soooo good.
Wow!!!! Such an amazing meal!!! All of their arepas are gluten free (and delicious) and there are so. many. options. They do offer their arepas as sandwiches as well but those are NOT gluten free. If you mention your allergy then they have great cross contamination protocols and I have yet to get sick from eating here!! For their drinks: steer clear of the oatmilk!!!!! They have other amazing alternative milk options though! truly a 10/10 !!

Tropical Arepa was delicious. Added in Mushrooms. My second time having Venezuelan food. I would definitely recommend it . Good food on a budget. AND-they have Sugar cane tea !!!
Great affordable spot in Lakeview. All arepas are so tasty and gf. Not sure about anything else though.

This arepa was delicious! I’ve been celiac for 1.5 years and get so excited to see gluten free options. Very affordable at $8.90 before tax+tip. I got the Rosemary Honey latte and that was terrific as well. Friendly workers and good vibes. Not sure on cross contamination but I felt good after so for me I would consider celiac safe.
One of my absolute favorite restaurants. So much here is gluten free & it’s marked well. The food is incredible as well!
One of my favorite places to eat!! Great flavor and the perfect size. Wish they had more dairy free options but great for gluten free. Smoothies are just ok but the cafe drinks are great.
I used to be huge fan of their Arepas honestly… still a fan from afar. A couple times after eating them I have felt bloated and sick. I was new to celiac diagnosis so I wasn’t able to pin point exactly what was making me sick. But after a good journal I realized they might not be cross contact face. I’ve seen their kitchen it’s small.. and I doubt they have the room for a dedicated GF area.
their arepas are gas. i had the venezia and my bf had the tuti twist. we also had the BAM smoothie which was good but too expensive imo. definitely coming back to try the other arepa sandwiches tho.
So. Damn. Good. Oh my god the Pelua Sandwhich is to die for!

This place is AMAZING! The food is amazing. Didn’t get sick. Wish I’d gone on my first day in Chicago because I would have literally eaten there every day.

Had a really good lunch here. We all got different arepas and they were all delicious. All of the arepas are gluten free, no one in our family got sick.

I LOVE this place!!! What a treat to find a cafe with so many GF options! My very first Arepa…so hard to decide which one to choose. Mine was absolutely delicious as was my friend’s!! I wish I lived in Chicago to be able to come often but on my next trip 11 Degree North will definitely be a must stop!!

Had the arepa for the first time this weekend, and I was craving it so much I got it again a few days later. I felt great after - no gluten reactions!
I’ve been on a serious arepa kick and these are my favorite so far. I love having quick lunch options and the coffee is excellent. I’ve never had any issues or reactions to the arepas.
Tried this place for breakfast - excellent GF arepas. I got the Parrot without cheese and it was still great. The BAM smoothie was also good but not worth $8.
This place is incredible! There are a lot of gluten free options on the menu and they’re very careful if you say you have an allergy. The arepas are delicious! I took my mom here and she’s not strictly gluten free but says she dreams about the breakfast we had here.
I ordered delivery through Uber Eats. The ticket on my bag was clearly marked with gluten allergy/celiac per the note I left in the app. Arepas are very tasty!

So many gluten free options! They can make a variety of sandwiches on gluten free bagels or biscuits. They also have Arepas which are amazing! I had an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel which was amazing! Great place and great service!
