Tropical Arepa was delicious. Added in Mushrooms. My second time having Venezuelan food. I would definitely recommend it . Good food on a budget. AND-they have Sugar cane tea !!!

This arepa was delicious! I’ve been celiac for 1.5 years and get so excited to see gluten free options. Very affordable at $8.90 before tax+tip. I got the Rosemary Honey latte and that was terrific as well. Friendly workers and good vibes. Not sure on cross contamination but I felt good after so for me I would consider celiac safe.

I used to be huge fan of their Arepas honestly… still a fan from afar. A couple times after eating them I have felt bloated and sick. I was new to celiac diagnosis so I wasn’t able to pin point exactly what was making me sick. But after a good journal I realized they might not be cross contact face. I’ve seen their kitchen it’s small.. and I doubt they have the room for a dedicated GF area.

their arepas are gas. i had the venezia and my bf had the tuti twist. we also had the BAM smoothie which was good but too expensive imo. definitely coming back to try the other arepa sandwiches tho.

Had a really good lunch here. We all got different arepas and they were all delicious. All of the arepas are gluten free, no one in our family got sick.

I LOVE this place!!! What a treat to find a cafe with so many GF options! My very first Arepa…so hard to decide which one to choose. Mine was absolutely delicious as was my friend’s!! I’ve been on a serious arepa kick and these are my favorite so far. I love having quick lunch options and the coffee is excellent. I’ve never had any issues or reactions to the arepas.

This place is incredible! There are a lot of gluten free options on the menu and they’re very careful if you say you have an allergy. The arepas are delicious! I took my mom here and she’s not strictly gluten free but says she dreams about the breakfast we had here.

This is my favorite spot to eat in Chicago. They have so many gluten free options and the food is delicious. I’ve had zero issues here.
