We have eaten at quite a few 110 grill locations and have had excellent experiences, however, we are now in a hospital with our son (9) who has both celiac and a wheat allergy.
I had a bad feeling after my son told me that the pizza looked different, but after double checking, we were assured that it was definitely gluten free...
Extensive and clearly marked gluten free options, a dedicated fryer, and knowledgeable staff. Very prominent GF reputation to protect
Food is prepared in a place that is visible to patrons so procedures can be monitored, and (at least in our case) the gluten free meals were brought separately to our table.
Really good GF fish and chips, and Gutenberg Blonde beer to boot. Thumbs up!
I was with a group who had reservations for dinner on a Saturday night for this establishment. It was picked by our bus group leader specifically so that myself and another person in the group could join in eating which we were not able to do all week. The experience was mostly quite disappointing. There only were a few in the group who enjoyed their meals but the rest did not. Most everyone was very angry. We were a rather large group of about 40 people and they were clearly short staffed and not prepared to have us on a busy Saturday night even though we were assured they could. The entire experience was frankly pretty bad but I think that was because they were not used to large groups. It was very expensive especially for all that went wrong. I won’t list all of that here but… We waited 2 hours for our food and when it arrived it was cold. Not “at one point it was hot and cooled off” cold but literally cold to the touch like it had been frozen and not fully thawed. I ordered the cheese steak sub only to be told they have no dairy free cheese? I had them replace the cheese with mushrooms but again, it was actually cold. I was only brought the mayo I requested after I finished attempting to eat. I didn’t send my food back and heated it up when I got back to my hotel. It was “ok” and I didn’t get sick from it. My stomach felt a little queasy but that could have been anything. My suggestion is never go here with a large group and realize that though they are apparently knowledgeable about allergies it doesn’t always mean they have replacements for what they omit.
Excellent food with gluten and dairy free options. I had the fish and fries (coleslaw has a honey mustard dressing with parmesan cheese). They made the fish dairy free and it was delicious. Had the fried pickles as well, also dairy free and my husband and son who don't have to eat gluten and dairy free, loved them. Disappointed that the coleslaw wasn't mayo based, and also they didn't offer to replace it with anything. It's pricey but for a birthday lunch, absolutely worth it.
Highly recommend!! They are very careful and knowledgeable about allergies! If you have an allergy a manager will bring your food with a toothpick that says allergy and it is prepared with great care. The menu states 100% of the core menu can be prepared gluten free and desserts are gluten free also!! Really was a great experience!
I have a severe sensitivity to gluten, my boyfriend is celiac, and my friend has a shellfish allergy. We went on a Friday night and the service was a bit slow, with our waiter also working behind the bar throughout the night. When we got there, they immediately asked if we needed any gluten-free menus. Once seated, we were asked about any allergies so the waiter could note them. All of my food was delivered with allergy-marking picks in them and hand delivered by management. I took dessert to-go and it was marked with a sticker regarding what allergen it was free of (gluten). I really loved that most of the dishes were able to be made gluten-free. Additionally, neither myself or my boyfriend had any reactions. The downside was I thought the food was just okay. I got the margherita flatbread which was good but a little soggy and pasta bolognese, which was just wet pasta with ground meat on it and what seemed like an Udis roll. The other two I was with said their food was good, however, and the lemon beignets were absolutely delicious.
I have eaten here three times since being diagnosed with celiac disease, and I have never gotten sick. Every time it was a great meal. It's amazing to be able to order anything on a whole menu. Not only that, but each time I had questions about items or wanted to make a substitution for something, and they were very accommodating. They also ask if anyone has any food allergies, and if anyone orders an appetizer they would ask me if it should be made gluten-free. The gluten-free toast and artichoke dip appetizer was amazing.
I am so disgusted by this restaurant. I would like to give it zero stars. My family & I just had THE WORST experience we’ve ever had in any restaurant! There was maybe 15 patrons in the whole place due to some early snowfall so we thought we would be safe with our gluten allergy since the kitchen wasn’t too busy. My daughter & I are celiac. We each ordered a salad and fries…one grilled chicken Caesar and one steak salad. We emphasized the allergy and the waitress assured us that they would be gluten free and that the manager would even bring them out. Well….my daughter’s arrived with a “gluten allergy” pick identifier in it right next two NON-GLUTEN FREE croutons. Upon further investigation, the manager found even more non-gluten free croutons in the dish. She took it away and said she would make the next one herself. Besides the fact that we never received our appetizer, it took her another 1/2 hour to come out with the salad and this time it contained a DEAD FLY in it!!!!! I should have taken pictures but we were so disgusted that we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Both the kitchen and waitstaff are very unprofessional and unsanitary. We will never come here ever again. Yuck!😝
I eat here at least 3 times a week. I’m allergic to wheat, and dining out is usually a nightmare. However, here I can order anything on the menu! I have never had a bad meal (the nachos, wedgie salad, and firecracker shrimp are my favorites) and the service is always great!
Waiter started out asking if I had any food allergies. Told him and he brought out a GF menu. It was varied and looked too good to be true, I double checked I had the right one. They make everything to order and take all allergies into account. Had someone else bring out my food and they made sure that they had the right person and right allergies. Food was marked.
What a great restaurant that caters to allergies. We have not found a restaurant that can change almost all of their meals to gluten free. They have a dedicated fryer and guarantee no cross contamination. The server was very knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We ordered fried calamari gluten free. It was awesome. I don't need to eat gluten free, but I ordered the fish tacos gluten free so my daughter can try it. You will not be disappointed. My other daughter ordered the oreo brownie fudge sundae not gluten free, but you can get it gluten free. They make gluten free brownies. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Have been here a few times with no issues. My daughter has Celiac and has been there a few times as well. They always ask about allergies and she tells them she is very gluten sensitive. Went there for a late dinner and 20 minutes after eating my daughter got sick with the usual signs from cross contamination. She probably won’t eat there again.
Loved this spot and how safe I felt. They are an allergen-conscious kitchen and I believe received some kind of certification for it. My food was brought out by the manager, and I was able to make it both GF and DF. They can accommodate every allergy! So happy I found this spot. Feel totally fine after my meal.
As soon as we walked in the host asked if anyone had allergies. I was then given a gluten free menu which was basically everything on the regular menu but modified to be gluten free. The manager brought out the food which was also labeled allergy with a toothpick. I had fried pickles, crab ragoon dip, and a giant burger! Everything was delicious! I will definitely be back.
Great place with a wide variety of gluten free items to order from . They even had a separate GF menu! The staff at 110 Grill were very careful in ensuring our selections were completely free of gluten. No cross-contamination issues, and felt absolutely fine after dining there. And the meal was delicious! This will be our “go to” place whenever we want to eat out 🙂.
110 Grill has made being gf a little bit better and normal for me. So many of the normal menu items are made gluten free and even the bread that they make is delicious. I will seek out a Grill 110 when traveling because I know they will have a variety of good food and be safe for me.
