Food is amazing! There are so many options I was shocked. The manager has to bring out every gluten free dish. I love that the kitchen is open so you can see in. Everything was clean and our server was very knowledgeable. I will definitely go back as they take celiac disease very seriously unlike other restaurants.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. A dedicated menu, makes you feel inclusive to the dining experience. The options AND the food itself is delicious. They take cross contamination seriously and have dedicated kitchen and even who serves the food (a manager). All food is labeled as well (love that little GF stick!). I never had a bad service experience but because the price point and quality is so good, I wouldn’t let it sour my experience regardless and make the best of the wonderful inclusion this restaurant makes me feel. My safety is prioritized and everyone at the table gets a delicious meal? I’ll take a win anywhere I can as a celiac. 🖤
Tried to have dinner here last night after my son’s concert (Friday night). They wouldn’t seat us because it was 8:30pm and they were closing in 20 minutes. PATHETIC!!!!!
The hostess asked if anyone needed a GF menu when we arrived. When the waitress came to take our order, she noted the menu my daughter had and confirmed she was GF before taking the order. We shared the GF BBQ chicken nachos. Daughter had a steak and cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries. She was really happy with the options, food and zero reaction.
My family Loved 110 Grill! They say right on their menu that 100% of the items on their menu can be made Gluten Free! They do have a gluten free menu. We were seated right next to their open kitchen (great for spectating), so we heard the head chef yell out our order, and other orders, always starting with an announcement to draw attention to the allergies. The entire staff is trained to be conscientious of food allergies. (Our chef seemed to be a tsundere; when announcing a complicated set of allergies from another order, I heard him marvel quietly, "Wow, what CAN they eat??" I chose to take it as sympathy.) Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
The food arrived with wooden picks to label them as allergen free. 3 in my family are Celiac. None of us had any bad reactions and the food was delicious! We were so excited to have so much available for us that we went overboard, ordering the fried pickles, the firecracker shrimp, the clam chowder, and the chorizo totchos. I highly recommend the fried pickles and the Chorizo Totchos! Then we also ordered from the kid's menu (gf) Mac and cheese, with fries and cucumber slices, and from the gf menu fish and chips, the "cure" burger, and the pulled pork sandwich, with roasted brussel sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious!
Portions were generous, and we ordered a lot! (And reheats beautifully at home as left overs, too.)
Other good things to know: the Middletown, NY location is in a mall that's all about kids' entertainment. It has kind of a South Korean/Japanese appeal. The mall has a Round One with almost a quarter of the floor space being claw games. There are at least 6 stores with toys and snacks from Japan. There is a play place called Billy Beez, a build-a-bear, a diy slime making place, a place with mech fighters (not kidding), bumper cars that roll around in the mall outside of Macy's, glow in the dark mini golf, and I can't recall everything else. Some places were only open on weekends. Also good to know is that the mall is in easy access to Route 84. It was a really great place to stretch our legs and let the kids get some crazies out. Like Vegas, for kids, but better! We were there for lunch on a Wednesday school day, so lots of places were closed. If you want quiet, go then.
Eaten and ordered from this place a few times. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. My husband saw an interview with the owners and said all of their staff goes through training courses ok nutrition and food safety. I’ve never been sick or had ANY symptoms going here & I have multiple intolerances
Can not say enough about 110 Grille !! They care ! They are thorough when it comes to allergies . Doesn't matter how busy they are , they will kindly cover all bases and let you know . I have celiacs and. Try allergic to MSG and nitrates ( hidden as well) . The chef John Claude ... wonderful, caring. Food is always delicious .
Wow this place surprised me! The chain has great allergen practices in place including a manager bringing out the GF foods only, purple utensils in the kitchen for GF items, and separate area. I was also told all their fried chicken made with corn flour keeping fryers safe. Not sure if that applies to other breaded items. I had two things that are hardest for me to find as a celiac - fried pickles and Buffalo chicken Mac & Cheese. Both were amazing. The mac & cheese even without Buffalo sauce was amazing. My friend got the same dish and I noticed we had different pasta. Never got sick and ate the leftovers the following day - no issues. You can really trust this place for safety, which walking into the mall I felt nervous. and so many GF options!
Probably the safest place to eat if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity. We eat here frequently and the staff is always knowledgeable. They write down the allergy orders in a different color pen, and it’s brought out by the manager with a label on it. You can even see them prepping and cooking in the kitchen and they change their gloves. We weren’t a fan of their brunch (we went on a holiday) but there are always plenty of options. I’ve tried a variety of things there and it’s also delicious.
Food and service were terrible. Not worth the price. I didn't get allergic issues, but wasn't worth it, it was not good, not good at all.
Had a wonderful experience at 110 Grill! They have a huge GF menu! They were able to accommodate all of my child’s allergies! They have an open kitchen and I heard them announce all of his allergies clearly and loudly all employees switched there gloves and clean down surfaces. They also said the magic words Dedicated Fryer! Definitely will be back . Service was wonderful as well!
It’s been 10 years since my diagnosis and my last battered fish filet. What a treat to enjoy a light, flakey, crispy fish and chips again! So many choices, I will go back. Waitress was a celiac and so helpful. This place is kinda like a miracle, I didn’t have to ask about the fryer or the coating or any of that. I could just order my food, like a normal person. 😊
100% if core menu can be made gluten free...which is really like their entire menu. They have dedicated part of kitchen. They specialize in foods for people with allergies. Needless to say I was in heaven. I ordered 2 appetizers: fried calamari and chorizo tots. For main course: Pulled pork mac and cheese. Excellent!
This place was heaven for a celiac. As soon as we walked in we were asked if anyone wanted the gluten free menu and it contained many gf options for almost all of the main menu items. My food was brought out separately to confirm it was prepared in the gluten free area and in the gf fryers. I felt very relaxed eating here and was confident there would be no cross contamination.
They take any allergies or restrictions seriously and are trained very well. There is an open view into the kitchen, you can watch them clear the line for any allergy coming through to prevent cross contamination, and a manager always delivers gluten free meals. Never had any issues.
Everything is good, but the hot honey chicken with a Ghostfish Vanishing Point pale ale is my go-to choice.
Great place for GF food. They have a complete 2nd menu for GF dishes with many options, and they take other food allergies very seriously too - they actually ask you if you need the special menu when you arrive. The manager delivers all allergy related dishes personally, to make sure you get the right thing. Highly recommended.
I can’t tell you how happy I am about 110 Grill. They take gluten free diets seriously. The whole menu can be made gluten free. Do you know how excited I was to have fried calamari? My husband and son loved it too ! I had a burger and the bun was so delicious! They have a great rewards program too.
We live close by and have picked up food several times without incident. This last week though we ordered a bunch of meals for ourselves and visiting family. We specified my daughter and I were gluten free and which meals were ours. Our meals were packaged separately and marked GF but I was only 1/2 way through my meal (salmon, brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries) when I had a severe reaction. Now, I have been living GF for more than 12 years and while I am sensitive, I rarely react as quickly or violently as I did that night. While they have been reliable before I will probably not order from there again. I missed an entire evening visiting with family and was unwell for 2 days. The risk is not worth it for me, even if it was just one uninformed employee.
Fantastic and long gluten free menu, great for comfort gf food! Before covid, they would bring GF biscuits to the table as the bread option. I hope that they bring that back! All GF food also comes with a marker indicating that it’s GF, so there’s no worries!
I’ve never had a problem at 110 Grill. They ask if you need a gluten free menu when you come in (almost everything is available gluten free), the managers and cooks are well trained in food allergies per 110 Grill policy. Only managers are allowed to bring food for anyone with food allergies, which should be marked with a stick that says “allergy” (A server accidentally brought me food without the stick. I was unsure and called the manager over and she wouldn’t let me eat it and had the kitchen make one that was known to be gluten free).
They have a dedicated section of the kitchen that is used for gluten free items and the kitchen is open where guests can see in (at least at my location). The kitchen is a scratch kitchen and they try to make as much of the menu naturally gluten free as possible.
Servers actively ask about any food allergies when they approach, which is good as some people are really reserved and may struggle to provide that kind of information on their own.
Great experience ! They really go above and beyond to make sure things aren’t Contaminated . Soooo many GF options ! I keep going back for more !
Very sensitive celiac. The waiter was very knowledgeable. I didn’t even have to ask for a gluten-free menu. Every customer when they walk in the door is asked if they need a gluten-free menu. The menu has a bunch of options almost as many as their regular menu. Separate gluten-free kitchen. Food comes out flagged gluten free. Everything was delicious!!! ( We had barbecue chicken nachos, the fish tacos and the chicken cordon bleu)
This is the 3rd 110 Grill location we’ve visited, and I continue to be impressed with their offerings and dedication to training their staff for taking care of patrons with food allergies. My son was able to have Maple BBQ Bistro wings and try Fried Pickle Chips, plus a kid’s meal with fried chicken tenders and fries. I’d say 95% of their regular menu also appears on the gluten free menu. It’s to the point where I’ll select a weekend getaway location around where we can find a 110 Grill!
My favorite place to get gluten free meals! They have a great selection of items for both lunch and dinner. I personal love their gf fried pickles and the burgers are amazing. If you haven’t tried their food, you’re missing out !!
GF HEAVEN! I have eaten here twice and didn't have any issues. Extensive gf menu with especially delicious bar type food! It has become one of my go to spots :)
I had really high hopes for this place being gluten intolerant. The first time we went I ordered the fried pickles and they are gluten free and I ordered the fried spicy chicken sandwich . After about 30 minutes I started to hurt and have stomach pains. So I assumed it was all the fried food bc I have not had friend food in awhile. We just went again tonight to give it another try and I ordered the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. And this time my stomach hurt only after 20 minutes, I am not sure what it exactly it is , maybe it’s their breading ? I don’t know but I’d be skeptical of the menu. I can usually get away with a lot of things , like cross contamination or maybe . However , it’s unfortunate bc their menu is supposed to be gf. I saw another comment on her who had the tester and made me question their food.
Great place with a wide variety of gluten free items to order from . They even had a separate GF menu! The staff at 110 Grill were very careful in ensuring our selections were completely free of gluten. No cross-contamination issues, and felt absolutely fine after dining there. And the meal was delicious! This will be our “go to” place whenever we want to eat out 🙂.
110 Grill has made being gf a little bit better and normal for me. So many of the normal menu items are made gluten free and even the bread that they make is delicious. I will seek out a Grill 110 when traveling because I know they will have a variety of good food and be safe for me.
