Review of 2 Wives Brick Oven Pizza

The gluten free offerings are listed on the menu, and when I told our server I had celiac disease they immediately said the gluten free pizzas are made in a separate area and cooked in a separate oven. I’m writing this review the next day so I can confirm I didn’t get glutened (hooray!). I ordered the margherita pizza - the sauce was excellent but the rest of the pizza was just fine. The crust appeared to be the Udi’s pre-made crust, which is totally okay, but I don’t feel it warrants the $4 upcharge. Someone else in my party ordered the regular margherita and when it was brought out the server called it “non gluten margherita”, which was a little confusing (I’ve run into this in other restaurants, too) and I had them confirm that it DID contain gluten so it wasn’t mine. The place appears to be celiac friendly but I wanted to give this heads up - though I feel like most of us with celiac disease double check when servers bring the order out anyway.
