Review of 3 Brothers Pizza Cafe

What a relief. My wife is strictly gluten and egg free due to intolerance. I am not. Finding a place to go out to eat is a constant source of stress. The usual is one of us is not happy with the menu selections and has to sacrifice.3 Brothers Pizza Cafe is a God sent. The food is incredible traditional Italian fare and yet they offer a complete dedicated vegan and gluten free menu in addition to the regular menu. We have eaten there several times since its opening in March 2013 and are more impressed with each meal. Last nights surprise was an incredible chocolate layer cake to die for. My poor wife can NEVER have a decent desert because of her egg and wheat allergy. The cake was superb. After raving about it to the very attentive waitress she brought out Jay, the Chef in charge of the vegan menu. Jay a bright energetic 20 something who was incredibly excited to tell us how much he loves his craft. The menu variety and delicious results prove it. Jay is truly dedicated to doing the right thing. Its not an afterthought like so many restaurants. It is his primary goal to offer traditional Italian fare but also vegan and glue free. With his dad also in the kitchen keeping him true to Italian cuisines traditional flavors.Pefection is all I can say and that is coming from a Brooklyn born 100% Italian.
