At the time of this tip - server mentioned the restaurant menu is more up-to-date for GF marking than the online menu.
Terrific dinner! Staff was knowledgeable about GF and all items were flagged upon arrival at our table. Dedicated fryer. Will definitely return!

Amazing GF menu and great service. Had the potato skins, Shepard’s pie and Fish and chips. One of the best GF restaurants we’ve been to. Five Stars all the way.

This place was awesome! And our server, Josh, was super conscientious about getting our allergies and orders right. They had gluten free breading for fried options. We ordered the fried pickles and crispy fish tacos which are like finding unicorns in the wild for gluten free people. They have a separate frier too, which helped greatly with confidence in our order. Would definitely come here again. The service was great and the food was delicious.

I ordered take out via delivery. Food came relatively quick which was nice. I also called them ahead of time to talk through the menu and give a heads up on my order. I was excited they have a separate fryer so didn’t hesitate to order the tater tots. Unfortunately the rest of my order was less exciting. Chicken tenders arrived as chicken wings that didn’t feel fully cooked. My salmon dish was also not cooked well done so I had to recook on my own. Perhaps the dining experience is better in person rather than delivery. I’d be open to trying again but not for a bit.

Love the menu, they have gluten free pickles! Brunch is good as well. They have been safe nearly every time and if something is wrong they fix it.

We stopped by for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The menu has lots of gluten free options, the wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and understood my gluten issue.
We ordered burgers, fries, tator tots, salads. All gluten free and very tasty. The wait staff was friendly and provided great service.
I’d love to come back

So happy with my experience at 730 Tavern. I haven’t been able to have gluten free New England clam chowder, and fish & chips in years. The food was super delicious! Perfectly seasoned, flakey white fish with a light, crisp coating- what a treat! The clam chowder was so good I wanted to take some to go.
Almost everything on the menu is gluten free!
My husband had a burger, side Caesar salad and wings, and recommends them all.
I’m about to try the chocolate lava cake- yum!
I wish we lived closer. MD to MA is a bit far or this would be a regular spot for me.
5 stars for the food and excellent service.

I ordered gluten free fish tacos and side caesar salad and the tacos came out on flour tortillas. I told the waitress they didn’t look like corn tortillas, and she told me she entered it in as gluten free, but then she took them back to double check. They were definitely flour. She brought the food back out on corn tortillas and then I noticed my salad had croutons that didn’t look gluten free. I didn’t eat the salad. Unfortunately not a good experience at all there. Luckily I trusted my instincts…

The workers where very good at explaining and reassuring me that the food was gluten-free, they had a good understanding of cross contamination. I ate there 2 hours ago and I don’t feel sick, and I have celiacs, I got the nachos and fried pickles. They had little allergy flags in my food too!

5 STARS, I am a picky eater and it takes lots to attend to my needs. However, this place helped satisfy all my needs! Not only do they have gluten free options they have vegan ones! It tastes so good, I will come again! A warning though, their nachos are gigantic!

Their menu lists which items are gf or can be made gf (pretty much every item). Besides cocktails there aren’t any options besides Downeast (Original on tap and seasonal flavor in a can). GF food comes out with a little “Allergy” flag. They have a separate gf fryer š, kinda rare for a sports bar. The food is good!!

If you’ve been missing fried bar snacks while having celiac, this is the place to go. I inhaled the fried pickles, tater tots and buffalo cauliflower. Most fried stuff can be modified to be made gluten-free with no cross contamination. They have a gluten-free bun for sandwiches and burgers as well. Ciders, wine, cocktails… Not the fanciest place, but that’s not that point! Big TVs if you’re a sports fan.

They have gluten-free fried pickles(!!). The food was fantastic and, as a celiac who is very sensitive to cross-contamination, I haven’t had an issue here. The staff was knowledgeable and so many of their items were marked. There was a gluten free dessert and much to choose from on their main menu, as well.

Nearly everything is marked gf now, just request it that way. Got chicken tenders and a burger made gluten free. Only a few things on the menu can't be GF. You'll have a hard time finding another pub menu with this many options around Boston.

While most of the menu items were marked GF, the sides were not. I'm new to celiac life, and made the mistake if ordering some Tater Tots with my GF burger. Big mistake! The restaurant put the Tots in the same container as my burger, with no warning that they were not GF.

We ordered takeout gf fried calamari, and 2 burgers with fries, one of which was ordered gf. The calamari is Rhode Island style with hot peppers. The food was great; fries were not exceptional but were ok. Planning to go back.

Server very knowledgeable, most of the menu can be made GF including fried items in a separate fryer, food came with an allergen flag, felt very comfortable eating here!

They have lots of options— including a fryer. It gets busy so you have to keep an eye on things. Ask to speak with a manager before ordering and be specific about procedures that are required to keep you safe. Overall it gets a thumbs up from me.
Yes
Lots of gf options. I had the turkey club. Bread didn’t fall apart. It was very good - non gf people loved the food as well. Side salad came with croutons on it but they were very quick to fix it and didn’t act like I was bothering them & very apologetic which was a nice change
Had brunch here the other day and it was great how accommodating they were. I got to eat eggs and how fries and it was delicious. I thought it would come with gluten-free toast but instead a bun, which was ok but would have preferred toast. Definitely a good place!
Yes
I was pleasantly surprised by this tavern! There were lots of items on the menu which could be made gluten free. The staff told me there is a separate fryer. I enjoyed the fish tacos and the portions were large! I felt comfortable eating here as the staff were knowledgeable and my dish came out with a “gluten free” toothpick flag.
Yes
This place used to be a Tavern In The Square, which was very GF friendly, and I was originally bummed to hear that Tavern In The Square was being replaced but this place has a very similar menu, including a wide range of GF options (the menu was actually so similar that part of me wonders whether the new owners simply retained the old kitchen staff). It's a little out of the way for me so I've only been here once since it opened but I loved being able to eat fried food/burgers/etc. and didn't have any reaction.
Yes
Have eaten here numerous times for brunch, lunch and dinner and have never gotten sick. Huge GF menu and the staff is super knowledgeable. Fried fish and pickle chips are SO good, it’s so nice being able to get GF fried food!
Yes
I really wanted to like this place, but they glutened me. I told the waitress that I was GF and ordered a soup. When the soup came out, I verified with the food runner that it was the GF soup. Halfway through eating it, my waitress came back and said "they didn't give you the gluten free soup". I looked at her, dumbfounded, and her response was basically "yeah i didn't write it down, and the food runners don't speak english." They didn't even comp the soup or apologize or anything. Maybe it was just my waitress, but I won't ever go back
No
Awesome! Felt so comfortable eating here. The waitress was super knowledgeable about my allergy and I got to eat potato skins!!! That is such a rare occurrence when you are celiac. The rolls were delicious too! I can’t wait to go back!

Tons of options. Gluten free bread and dedicated fryer! Wings and potato skins are delicious. Seem to know how to handle food. Have never gotten sick and eaten here a few times.

The staff was knowledgeable and careful but someone in my party with a wheat allergy still got facial hives after eating here. This was when it first opened and we haven’t been back.

Huge menu with lots of gluten free options clearly listed. They have a dedicated fryer so fries and chicken fingers are back in my life. My waitress was knowledgable about the menu and took my needs seriously.
