Excellent service and procedures in the kitchen. My spouse and I both have Celiac disease and our waiter clearly explained our options. We were even able to enjoy world-class scalloped potatoes!
We had an amazing meal and neither of us felt the least bit sick afterward. I would highly recommend 801 Chophouse to anybody with celiac looking for a top quality steakhouse in the Twin Cities.

There seems to be a good variety of GF options or dishes that can be made GF with minor adjustments. The menu isn’t labeled though. They had GF bread (not bad but no wow factor). I was able to try all the sides the table got to share (mashed potatoes, green beans, broccolini) and I had the cod for my main with a Caesar salad to start. For dessert I had the crème brûlée and tried a bite of someone’s apple bar. Everything was tasty. The cod and creme brûlée were the highlights for me. I did not get sick and I felt really confident with the communication level between the server and the chefs.

Emailed a few days before going to check GF options. Response was not helpful- just said they can make accommodations and attached the normal menu.
When we went, our waitress was not knowledgeable about GF options but did say she would check with the chef. She informed me that steaks are GF and they can make accommodations for seafood. Asked her about side options and to confirm which were GF- said she would check and never came back.
Had symptoms later in the evening after eating shellfish & veggies.

No GF menu but server is very accommodating and knowledgeable. They mark your order allergy/celiac and the servers assure you the entree is gluten free upon arrival at your table.
Gluten free bread available and some gluten free desserts as well.
Shared fryer so beware but they should steer you clear of cross contamination.
Quality food and you’ll certainly pay for it. Def going back tho.
