I really like this place, but I ordered a taco bowl and when I went to take a bite, there was a noodle in it. Was given a new meal, and was told “sometimes the food in the kitchen is close together.”

Ordered one of the burgers, asked for a GF bin. Waiter immediately asked if this was preference or allergy. I let him know allergy (although in full disclosure I don't have Celiac's but I do have EoE, so I usually can manage cross-contamination). Burger arrives with the BEST looking gf bun I've ever seen, I poke at it, it's soft and "fluffy"..... just like regular buns.... when the Waiter comes over I ask. He agrees and asked if the Manager brought it out....nope. he asked if i wanted the GF bun (no, and so he's unaware of or just forgot in the moment about cross-contamination). I just put the bun to the side and are the burger.... we were in a rush. I also ate the fries, but don't trust they were appropriately handled either.

Separate fryolater, buns, many GF options and knowledgeable staff. Family of owner has Celiac.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Wonderful burger place with a dedicated kitchen for celiacs AND a dedicated fryer. I’ve ordered here many times and never had any issues - they take cross contamination seriously. One time they messed up my order and completely redid it with GF buns and fries and included a delicious chocolate dessert. I highly recommend the truffle fries!

Great tasting food and safe for Celiacs!
I have eaten here a few times now and no issues with cross-contamination or anything! Great service. Food is great. And felt safe with Covid protocols as well.

I was concerned about eating here after reading reviews however after talking to our waitress (who was extremely knowledgeable) I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed! I did NOT get sick from cross contamination at all. I had the fish tacos without the breading. They weren’t my favorite fish tacos but I will give their fries and burgers a whirl next time.
Yes
My son (celiac) had a burger and fries. He thought they were great. Unfortunately he was not feeling well afterwards. I suspect a cross-contamination issue. I was not a fan of the fish tacos (taste). Thank you.
They have always been careful with our kids’ orders (with celiac) and they have never gotten sick. Our go-to burger place in Beverly!

Dedicated fryer and delicious food!!!!!! Would recommend 100%!!!
Yes
I’m celiac. I used to go here frequently, but the past two times I went they glutened me and glutened me bad. The first time it happened they apologized profusely and comped things and gave me a gift card. I waited about a month and went back for lunch, told my server I had a gluten allergy and the manager brought out my food, but there’s something happening in the kitchen where someone isn’t being safe about cross contamination. Don’t risk it! This is one of the sickest I’ve been to date!

Gluten free buns and separate oil for French fries! Best sweet potato fries out there!
Yes
Overpriced and not good. I want to like it because of it’s fun atmosphere but... just yucky.
Knowledgeable wait staff and bartender. Manager carries out food when ordering gluten free. Fries are done in a separate fryer and he staff knows what to substitute in the order to keep it gluten free. Our server said I could not get onion crisps as these are flour coated so she recommended caramelized instead. Good service, good food
Great gluten free options including burgers and fries with a separate fryer
burgers are really good, but the buns fall apart. waiter was excellent. They even carry Citizen Cider.
Gluten free buns are good and have good flavor

This place has a dedicated gluten-free fryer, which can accommodate regular fries sweet potato fries and onion rings. The menu also included free buns for the burgers. They knew what they were doing.
Just ate my weight in Wagyu beef and sea salt fries. Knowledgeable staff. Dealt with my nonsense and my partner's onion allergy quite well. FYI -- in case this hasn't been updated on here, the beef burgers are safe! I did a lettuce wrap to offset the carb-loading, but I wish I went no wrap to really enjoy the unique toppings. Make reservations.
It has moved to Beverly. The service and menu have improved a lot since the move. Dedicated fryer by request. You can choose between lettuce wrap or GF bun. Make reservations because it is very popular.

Moved to Cabot Street in Beverly. It is open and really good burgers with GF buns. I would recommend this place highly. My wife is a vegetarian celiac and she finds things on the menu.
Yes
The fries were good, but they accidentally put blue cheese on my burger (so...gluten, plus I'm DF). But the staff was really nice about it and gave me a fresh burger and made my meal free. They also gave me a gift certificate. I'll try going back, but I'm a little nervous.
I'm disappointed that their only GF burgers are the edamame and sweet potato burgers. The sweet potato burger was good though, and the bun was good too. The staff was very knowledgable and willing to accommodate with a designated fryer for my fries. Will definitely go back, especially if they get a gluten free beef burger.
Great burgers. Very knowledgable staff. We will definitely be back!
