I’m the only one in my family that has celiac, so we were all able to order something that we wanted. I ordered the orange chicken and fried calamari and both absolutely amazing!! I was craving orange chicken for a long time and this completely hit the spot, it was delicious! I also haven’t had calamari in 3 years since I was diagnosed, so when I saw it on the menu and read reviews I couldn’t wait to try it, and it definitely didn’t disappoint!
Everyone else loved all that they ordered as well! We had it delivered and after a slight mix up (they only dropped off one of the two bags), the driver came back while we were on the phone to drop off the gluten free bag. They were very pleasant and were easy to order from and eased any concerns I had about the gluten free preparation. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!
I have been having a hankering for Asian Food and I was very disappointed at Taste of Asia. The host immediately was very insulting when I tried to ask him about some gluten-free options. He said, “do you like bland and boring food?” He also kept saying that he didn’t understand what I was asking when I was verifying what foods were and were not gluten-free. I started with an appetizer which was very good and then had a very disappointing beef dish. The good news was that I didn’t get sick, but I will never go back. The service was terrible and the food was a huge disappointment.
This is a favorite lunch spot with many GF options. It’s a pretty spot with delicious food and good service.
The food and service are both great. Wish there were even more options, but quite a few and very well prepared and worth the trip. Soups, appetizers (crispy calamari-Malaysian style and pork shreds are two of my favorites) and entrees.
