Before I complain about the gluten contamination, I want to note that the service was very friendly and fast. I have celiac and informed the hostess that I needed a gluten-free menu. She told me to speak with the waitress who could help me, and explained that they can make just about anything on the menu gluten-free. When the waitress arrived, I explained to her that I would need a gluten-free meal. She reiterated that I could have just about anything on the menu, but she would double-check with the cook to make sure. I ordered haddock vera cruz, double-checking to make sure it was gluten free, and she asked what I wanted as a side. Every side contained gluten - though she said the pasta side could be made with gluten-free pasta. I went with the gluten-free pasta, since it was my only option. The waitress then brought a bowl of beef barley soup. This should have been my first warning sign that "gluten free" meant little to this restaurant. I can't eat food that has barley, wheat or rye in it. I gave the soup to my partner. My fish was pleasant - though overcooked. I wasn't going to eat the side of pasta, but I was still quite hungry, as the fish portion wasn't very big. I was about halfway through my "gluten free" rigatoni pasta when I saw a piece of WHEAT SPAGHETTI in my bowl. I put my fork down, but by then it was too late. I knew I was going to be in for a rough night. RESTAURANTS: PLEASE, PLEASE - if you're going to advertise gluten-free fare, be mindful that there are people who rely on you to be honest about it. Gluten free doesn't mean that you're cooking up a gluten-free pasta in a pot of WHEAT PASTA WATER. We rely on you to ensure NO CROSS-CONTAMINATION. On my way home I decided that eating out just isn't any fun any more. I don't know which restaurants to trust, and unfortunately, by the time I found out I can't trust them, it's usually too late. While this restaurant offers gluten-free items, and the service is fast and friendly, they are not careful about cross-contamination, and the servers are not well-educated on what is/isn't gluten free.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs and hot wings! When I called the restaurant they said they could make just about anything on the menu safe for me to eat.... When we got there, the server was great with checking with the kitchen and reading ingredient lists for me.... They do have gluten free pasta listed on their menu too!
