The last two times I have eaten here I have been glutened. I won’t ever be returning as it’s no longer safe. They also took off all the labels on the menu that said what was gluten free and when I brought this up to the waitress she said everything can be made gluten free. My meal came out within 3 minutes of ordering so I know it was not properly handled.
I’m sad to say I was glutened here the other day. They have amazing tacos but unfortunately I won’t be back, just can’t risk it. I’m not sure if it was the tacos or the seasoning used on the rim of my cocktail but I’m definitely experiencing symptoms of cross-contamination :(
Most of the items on the menu are gf and the waiter said they have good cross contamination policies which is why I’m so surprised I got glutened. I got three tacos and ate some chips which the waiter said were fried in a dedicated frier. Not an extreme reaction but my stomach is telling me there was at least a little gluten in there somewhere.
Great food! Great service. This place is awesome. GF menu items are clearly labelled. Our server told me that the corn tortillas are made separately from the flour ones. We had the chips and salsa flight which is fantastic. I ordered the chicken tacos, and they were absolutely delicious. The food is always amazing. The true test is that I don't get sick. That shows that they take cross contamination serious. They have a GF dessert as well, but I didn't try it. Love this place.
This is an upscale family restaurant with a patio and a bar. Large Mexican-American menu, drinks and appetizers. Good service.
Gluten-free items are marked incorrectly and inconsistently on the menu - flour tortillas quesadilla, marked gluten free, while corn based items that are gluten free are not marked.
Chips are GF from a dedicated fryer. Plenty of theoretically gf items on the menu.
I had a chips, queso and a stew that should have been GF but showed several signs of gluten exposure for the following 5 days. Fatigue, digestive, skin, mood.
Quentin our waiter brought to the table 4 gluten free sauces; with chips & trio of salad all gluten free and chips fried in dedicated fryer. Quentin suggested the mojacete w/ corn tortillas. Happy hour 7 days a week & people waiting to come in when we left at 5 pm. Will definitely return when we travel back to Denver
Flavorful Mexican food. It’s not served with the typical pool of beans and rice either. Lots of gf choices also.
Very good experience and the food was awesome. Took a skeptic with me and he was blown away. Any questions about gluten are easy and answered fast!
Separate fryers so get that chimichanga! The food is just awesome. I'm from Texas so I know Mexican food and this is better than we can get back home. The preparation is top notch, and most items can be ordered gluten free, and are marked on the menus. I had the enchiladas, but my son got the fajitas and they were lights out good. Highly recommend.
Best Mexican food in town! The wait staff are always friendly and helpful. The posole is to die for! Everyone I have recommended to Adelitas loved it as well.
