We had a nice experience here. Ambience was relaxing, service was attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. There were many gluten and dairy free choices - but note that the fryer is shared, which especially applies to appetizers. I had Egusi chicken stew, my husband had the classic African peanut chicken stew I also wanted to try a seafood dish - guess I'll have to come back Food is on the spicy side, but not too much. Not sure if anything is mild.
No dedicated gluten free fryer so the appetizers marked gf on the menu (or anything fried) is a no go for those who are serious about cross contamination. The server we had did not seem particularly knowledgeable about celiac or dietary restrictions to proceed with caution. Food is absolutely delicious though.
GF options on the menu are marked but make sure to talk to your server if you have Celiacs. They have a shared fryer so none of the appetizers are GF, but the stews are naturally gf. Also ask about the sides. The fufu was not gf but the ebba and rice are. Servers are knowledgeable about menu and happy to make accommodations
