They have delicious GF injera for an extra fee. It’s not super clear from the menu, but if you ask they’re knowledgeable and clear about safe options!

Owner was knowledgeable about gf. They make injeera with 100% teff flour - you can see the color difference between the gf (dark brown) and non gf (light brown) injeera. Also, all entrees were gf/did not contain any flour. Was delicious and excited to come back to try more!!

I LOVE them. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I've been coming here for 7 years. Until a few years ago they didn't have gluten free injera so I'd just get a veggie combo over rice which was always deeelish. I never got sick ever. Now they have GF injera and I am going all the time again, yummmmmmm. I am not celiac but I am sensitive to cross contamination and very slight amounts of gluten and I have not had the slightest reaction ever. Also, the owners are the nicest people. Last time I went they held a parking spot out front for me so I could move my car out of a loading zone. Having eaten at all the Ethiopian restaurants in West Philly, this is by far the best vegetarian food and the only one I know whose injera is truly GF. (one other restaurant that shall not be named says their injera is GF but my stomach says otherwise). My regular order is: Veggie Combo with GF injera!

Not GF. Came here 7/6/13, asked if they had anything GF for breakfast. Dunno about the scones the other reviewer mentioned, but this is just a cafe, not a place that belongs in this app. We were trying for breakfast and it's the usual: bagels, toast, pancakes.
