Great service, they take allergens very seriously. They informed us of any possible cross-contamination and labeled the food when delivering it. I had the Pan Roasted Cod, and they brought me gluten free bread. Definitely a safe bet if you’re in the area!

When we arrived our waiter informed us that there was a separate gluten free kitchen, and that any of the entrees could be made gluten free. The gluten free bread was exceptionally delicious! Personally I had the soup of the day (mushroom), and the pork cheek entree. They were both very delicious! For dessert they have a gluten free chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream which was spectacular! Can’t wait to stop by next time we’re in the area!

This upscale restaurant is magnificent. The food is top quality, as is the service. I’ve been twice and always leave so pleased. There is no gluten free menu but they can modify many meals to be gluten free. I am a very sensitive celiac and have not had any issues after eating here

The food and drinks were amazing! We got the leek appetizer and both got the salmon entree. Highly recommend making a reservation, we went at 6pm on a Sunday and heard the owner say they were all booked for the evening. On my reservation I noted that I was GF so our waiter knew from the start and he made sure to let me know what on the menu was GF. He also let us know that all the servers and the owner are allergen certified! We will absolutely be coming back!

In addition to excellent food, the owner of Alta, Aurelien, is extremely knowledgeable about celiac and specifically trains all of his staff and chefs on proper handling of all food. While not a gluten free restaurant, much can be prepared gluten free. We have eaten here many times with our son with sensitive Celiac, and he has left smiling, never having had gluten exposure. I can’t recommend more for someone looking for fine dining without gluten consequences. FYI they don’t have a dedicated frier, so sadly, avoid the fries.

We had great food and service. The waiter was very accommodating and made sure I had a good gluten free meal. And he hooked us up with a fantastic GF chocolate mousse special for dessert.

Went there with my 7 year old with Celiac after skiing. Very aware of celiac and can make almost anything gluten free and are very committed to no cross contamination. Daughter loved having hot gluten free bread and butter since she rarely gets it. She had a GF chicken quesadilla and fries but also had some of my seared duck, which she loved until she found out it was duck (was very good). Highly recommended, had a great experience for both GF and regular dinner.

Place is awesome! I’m dairy, Gluten and soy free - on top of being super accommodating, they made me steak sauce with red wine and berries (just for me!) when I explained my dietary restrictions. Also has great organic wine options.

Everyone was very friendly. The owner stopped by to check on us and explained that they work very hard to make sure there is no cross-contamination, changing gloves and making sure the staff is sensitive to food allergies.

Staff worked with me on gluten free options, knew what they were talking about. They provided gluten free bread as a starter from Something Sweet Without Wheat. I had the steak, the fries are in a shared fryer so I was able to substitute in mashed potatoes. Say ok the porch and enjoyed a gorgeous evening. Beautiful restaurant and great food!

Best service! Great food! I haven't enjoyed dinner the way I did tonight at Alta. They had hot gluten free bread (couldn't tell it was gluten free). The waitress was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and knowledgable. I have celiacs and I would recommend this to anyone who is nervous about eating out. What a great place!

This is the place to go, can't say enough good things! They will do what they can to accommodate you, whether it's GF, dairy free, etc. They have the best GF bread that they bring out. I ordered the Statler chicken, which has a sauce with a gluten demi glace base. They offered to make another sauce instead, but for simplicity sake I just said no sauce was fine. the food was delicious. We were there with a large party and live out of state, and had a fantastic time. If we are ever back in the area, this is the place I will go to. It is so refreshing to be able to eat, free of worry from being glutened, as I have Celiac and take cross-contamination seriously.
