We had dinner here last night. I never review places on just their food on FMGF, but I find I need to do just that now. I ordered the peas and carrots risotto and it was the worse dish of food I have ever had, the scallops were so salty I couldn’t eat them, the carrot sauce was pure sugar, it was as if someone tried to make the dish taste as bad as possible. I have never sent a dish back to a kitchen before but I did this time. Well they were not very nice about it, they did not offer to make me something else, or to make a new plate… they offered me a piece of cake!! Knowing I had celiac’s! We were charged 34.00 for a plate of food I couldn’t and didn’t eat. They were rude and didn’t care. I would not trust this kitchen to take the care needed for anyone with celiacs. I left hungry and had to get dinner back at our hotel, The Alida, on River Street and it was awesome they took my disease seriously. I will review them next.

I am vegetarian and gluten free. They were able to make me something and it was so good! server said most things on the menu can be made gluten free, but warned about shared fryers. really awesome experience and very tasty!

Amazing in every sense of the word! We went to A. Lure on our first night in Savannah and were absolutely delighted. Our server, Rochelle, was warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. My husband is allergic to both gluten and dairy and Rochelle was prepared with a cheat sheet of modifications AND double-checked everything directly with the chef to be 100% certain it was safe.

We (I) started the meal with the house biscuits and OMG they were amazing. Plus, when Rochelle saw how much I enjoyed them, she packaged up 2 more for me to take home and enjoy later! We ordered the pork chop based on her recommendation and it was just as tender and fall-off-the bone as she promised and came with gluten-free (and delicious) gravy.

Highly recommend A .Lure to everyone and, if you have dietary restrictions, this is a can’t miss!

Fabulous!!! I've eaten here many times and have never gotten sick. Their peas and carrots meal (risotto and scallops) is incredible. A more fine dining experience than most others in the savannah market and one that I would very much recommend.

I am Celiac. Delicious gf meal. Server was very knowledgeable. Owner's daughter is Celiac. I had "Peas and Carrots" with scallops and risotto for entree and flourless chocolate torte for dessert. A hidden jewel in Savannah!

No GF menu but the waiter let me know that the owners daughters both have celiac so they are very well versed in catering to GF safely. Many options on the menu. Don’t currently have the GF cornbread sadly but they said they’ll have it back when things pick up again. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious

I had an amazing peas & carrots with scallops dish that was gluten free. They don't have a separate menu but seemed knowledgeable.

Delicious! Very gf knowledgeable staff. Sat at the bar which has a full menu. The bartender was fun. I had an amazing scallops and risotto dish with a dirty martini. This is one happy celiac

Cortez, our waiter was delightful! The food starting with the appetizers to the entree to the dessert...wonderful. The owner's wife has Celiac so they are well versed!

We eat here every time we visit Savannah and are never disappointed with the Chefs GF Food Menu and the variety of the options! The Hostess, Bartenders & the Servers are all top notch as well... Its like the gift that keeps giving!

Really exceptional low country cuisine. Very knowledgeable staff. Well worth the price.
