My family and I get tacos from here all the time. Multiple family members have celiac and have never had an issue.

dang, wish i’d listened to the new reviews i saw here. I used to eat amano ALL the time, but now can confirm that you can get sick from cross contamination. i even added a note to my order because of what i saw here.
such a bummer that they’d add one menu item and ruin their status as a celiac-safe restaurant. i hate that other people who used to eat here probably had to find out the same way i did.

Everything except the quesadillas are gluten free. If you tell them you have an allergy- they will make sure to hear your corn tortillas separately so there’s no cross contamination. Food was very good.

Got sick last time - yeah, since they added quesadillas it is no longer safe. Sad, they had the most delicious tacos in Baltimore. :(

As of late 2018, this is sadly no longer a dedicated gluten-free space. They reached out to Baltimore Gluten Free and shared that they are now serving wheat tortillas. Not sure how they handle cross-contact since they added the non-gf items. Pretty heartbroken about this one. Their food is great, but is no longer made in a strictly celiac-safe kitchen.
I have celiac. I got very sick.

Until they started serving quesadillas, they were 100% safe and delicious. I asked today about cross-contam avoidance procedures and was told they can’t guarantee the serving spoons don’t touch the flour tortillas when ingredients are being placed in them and the same ingredients are used for all menu items. Unfortunate choice. With the proper training, it could be possible to avoid cross-contam.

FYI- They now serve flour quesadillas that are NOT gluten free (I didn’t ask how they plan to prevent cross-contamination). Prior to this I would have given them five stars.
Taste was ok but definitely more eclectic. Kids were not a fan.
This is a wonderful 100% gluten free takeout spot in the R House. R House has lots of seating, indoor and out. This is a taqueria using fresh, local ingredients in special combinations. Soft tacos were delicious. Try the jalapeno lemonade. The staff was lovely. I high recommend this spot.
