Latin American and Caribbean fare— Food was wonderful! Staff were very knowledgeable on GF and offered all kinds of suggestions and substitutions (FYI- They don’t have a dedicated fryer). I can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes!

Extremely celiac friendly menu, and staff is knowledgeable. Our waitress didn’t know but asked her colleague within my earshot and he said “yes we can accommodate this just make sure you mark it on the order as celiac and not just gluten free because we treat them differently” — music to my ears! Beyond that the food is amazing. We went for brunch Sunday and came back on a Tuesday night for dinner because we were too excited to try the dinner menu. Very fresh flavors, and not something you see a lot in Chicago: South American food. I can’t recommend highly enough. Bonuses for things you probably miss: yucca-based GF pancakes and waffles, and yucca or plantain “fries” are pan fried and safe.
