Not sure. Food did not come out labeled but the waitress was knowledgeable.
Quite a few options, clearly marked on the menu. Chips seem to be corn but fried in a shared fryer so are not safe, but you’re not missing out according to my non celiac husband (chips and salsa / queso were meh). Kind of pricey, a side of beans and rice with your enchiladas is $4 extra (which I’ve never encountered before). The enchiladas and the street corn I had were quite good! Personally I would get this to-go next time but it wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice of Mexican food. My food also did not come out labeled gluten free. There is also a gluten free dessert option that I did not try.
The service was pretty slow (we sat around waiting for a check for like 30 min) and (as of now, during the pandemic) seating is outdoors and there are a LOT of flies which is quite annoying.
Friends and family have recommended this establishment because I have Celiac . They noticed they offer GF items , clearly marked in Green on the menu . If you have celiac disease I highly recommend you skip Amigos . All Corn items are fried in the same fryer as the flour items . So the majority of the menu was most certainly NOT GF . I was told what I could "safely " eat (two items) . The waitress had no idea what Celiac was . I was also charged extra for sour cream that I had to send back because it had a hair in it .
Our favorite Mexican restaurant! Their menu is clearly marked with many GF items such as the fajitas and enchiladas. All their sauces are GF, as are the complimentary chips and salsa!
