All the food was great and didn’t make me sick. The oatmeal cream pies were to die for and so were the donuts! I would definitely come back.

Oh my goodness! Run and get gluten free pretzels! We went in and bought one and went back for 3 more. Would also recommend the sugar cookies! Great balance, not too sugary. Would definitely come back, but would not recommend the donuts, cupcakes, or snickerdoodle cookie. A little too sweet for my taste.

We bought a selection of 7 different types of treats and took them to a friend’s house to share. SO YUMMY! My favorite was the pumpkin spice cupcake, but the death by chocolate cupcake and the whoopie pie were close seconds. And all choices were delicious!

AMAZING! 10 out of 10 would recommend. everything there was gluten free and absolutely DELICIOUS!! i couldn’t even tell it was gluten free. scrumptious baked goods and wonderful baking mixes to make your own.

First, I want to say that this business is 100% GF which is very appreciated. We pre-ordered a variety of items (they are only doing pre-ordering right now for pick-up on Thurs, Fri, and Sat only) and spent quite a lot of money. Nothing was special. Not bad, but not great either. The pretzels tasted like dry, salty bread. Nothing at all like a pretzel ought to taste. We ended up throwing them away which was a real bummer since they were so expensive. Breakfast box was okay. Again, nothing special. Same with cupcakes. I love supporting small GF businesses, however, there are much better local options in Louisville and in Lexington.

I bought the cinnamon sugar donuts and a festive sugar cookie. The donuts were good but not mind blowing. The frosted sugar cookie was fantastic!!!! So glad I decided to treat myself with it. Online ordering was quick and easy.

I’ve been a dedicated customer for a couple years. I have other allergies besides celiac and they are an allergy free top 9 bakery as well. Service is always amazing. I recommend any of the sugar cookies, oatmeal cream pies, the chocolate donut with chocolate frosting, soft pretzel, etc.

Practically perfect in every way! If Mary Poppins had Celiac or food allergies, this is where she’d get her treats. I am obsessed with the toaster pastries and oatmeal cream pies! Yum!!!!

It was an amazing feeling to walk into a bakery and be able to consider buying everything. That is so rare! And to add to that remarkable experience they tasted delicious too.

This place is top allergen free so that is nice but the cupcakes are not that good. They look very good though and the fillings are good but they were quite dry so I wasn’t a fan of that. Prices are fair for being gf. The cookies on the other hand were delicious, especially the ginger snap one!

This is one of my absolutely favorite places! They are completely top 8 free, so no gluten, dairy, or nuts (among other things) in the entire facility. I have been a loyal customer for years. They have done countless birthday cakes and they even did my wedding cake. Also love going and getting a special sweet treat as a pick me up. Their Super Cookies and Chewy Lewies are so rich and wonderful. They also have refreshing cheesecake and other treats. Seriously have never tasted anything bad there. The staff is always super friendly too!

This is some of the best GF baked goods we have ever had!! My wife was able to get quite a few things with absolutely no health issues afterward. That’s a big deal with us since she has more than just a gluten allergy. Definitely recommend, we will be back!!

The staff are always incredibly friendly! The place is clean and adorable. For these reasons I gave this place three stars. I used to love eating here but things have really changed quite a bit over the past several months. Now the desserts tend to be quite dense, bland and overly sweet. I went there for my birthday with my spouse and bought two different cupcakes for each of us. My spouse took one bite and threw hers away. It was the only cake I was going to have for my birthday so I tried to eat half but I couldn’t manage to. It was so gross. It’s a real shame that the quality isn’t as good because I used to really enjoy Annie May’s. We have tried different baked goods on different occasions over the past year and it’s just bad. I said something to the manager because I would love to enjoy their goodies again. She said that no one else had complained and everything is the same as it always has been. Maybe people are not speaking up, I don’t know, I just know that it’s not good anymore. I don’t think we will be coming back, it’s not worth the money in the slightest.

Super exciting to have so many gluten free dairy free options especially considering we came at the very end of the day. The woman who helped us (I think the owner) with incredible patient and helpful. Our group tried cheesecake bars, cookies and cookie sandwiches, brownie and a cream filled chocolate cupcake. Not a dud in the mix. Everything was great. Snickerdoodle and filled cupcake were the favorites. Woman at the register was less friendly, but eh maybe it had been a long day. They are supposedly removing all of the top allergens in the next few months.

Very yummy.... first time eating at a gluten free bakery...., cupcakes good also had onion bagel, plan to order and have some delivered to my home!

Overall, super awesome. The thing is some of the baked goods are nasty. Stay away from the cinnamon rolls and donuts (the donuts are possibly the grossest baked good ever-the maple bacon donut tasted like straight up bacon lard). The high highlights from the bakery are their cupcakes, cookies, and brownies :)

Amazing! My daughter and I are from Indy and I have to say- WOW! Great bakery!!! If you have ever had gluten free, you know;DRY food, but at this bakery- cookies so moist you mistake you are eating something you are not supposed too. Also the cupcakes are fantastically moist and amazing. Can’t wait to try more items and have them delivered to my house in the near future. Absolutely a must if you in the life of celiac- try this bakery!!!

Well, it is allergy friendly, so that is awesome! GF, nut free, soy free. Friendly staff. I just wasn't all that impressed by the products. I tried a donut and cupcake, and my husband is actually the one who said they just kind of sank in your belly. Nothing tasted good, and I would dare to say it was quite gross. Things were too sweet, bland, and when I have a carrot cupcake, I want to see pieces of carrot in it! I am a tough critic bc I was professionally trained as a chef/pastry chef. I was so excited to try it, and have had really good GF baked goods in so cal, so I was hoping they had tested and perfected some delectable treats as well. Not so much. I am new to GF life, and know GF baking is a challenge, but was definitely disappointed.

Coming from an entire family with gluten sensitivity, this bakery is a godsend. It is refreshing to be able to walk into a place and not have to worry about being glutened. The owner knows her stuff and has suffered from celiac disease since she was a child. Everything we've tried so far have been amazingly delicious. They now offer soft-serve ice cream (dairy free!) and all sorts of goodies. I recommend the oatmeal creme pies and macarons!

The absolute best for gluten-free treats! Disappointed they stopped their cafe service, but happy that meant they were able to expand their bakery menu. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Fantastic for an occasional treat if you can tolerate some gluten free grains. The owner is very aware of allergies in addition to celiac disease. Which is important because it seems most of us have additional restrictions besides gluten. LOVED the toaster pastries and doughnut. If you're also avoiding eggs and dairy you will still have plenty of options. I took the rest to go because I'm about to have a sugar coma. I'm sure everything else will be equally delicious.

Would give 5 stars for the fact that it is a gluten free facility and my kids with celiac can eat and order without worry. Three stars for service and food taste. We had toaster pastries, cupcakes, and doughnuts. The doughnuts were not a good choice, no one in the family liked them, ended up putting them in a bread pudding at home. Toaster pastries were mediocre. I didn't try, but kids liked the cupcakes. Also service, we were among the first in the store when it opened one day and the first lady to help us did not seem happy to be working with customers. She wasn't rude, just that when we are in a bakery (a happy place), you usually receive service with a smile and we did not get this. The second person to help us was much friendlier and if this had been our only employee encounter I would I have rated a 5 for service. I would say that even for gluten free, which you expect to pay more for, the prices were significantly higher than other gluten free bakeries we have been to. I wonder if this place was better when it was more of a breakfast place and not just a bakery?

My husband has Celiac's Disease. We were planning a trip to Louisville and came across Annie May's Sweet Cafee on suggested GF websites. The staff was AMAZING. We made the trip to Louisville on Saturday and arrived to the shop around 10:30. We were heartbroken to find out they only make 55 donuts on Saturdays and were sold out. We did find out we can call ahead and reserve them which we will be doing next trip. We tried a toaster pastry and cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven, we could have died it was so good. We took some treats to go for a late night snack and were in love. We have the chocolate cookie sandwich and a red velvet chewy louie.
