Nope. Not celiac friendly if you have an oat intolerance. We arrived and looked over the expansive menu and started wondering about the oats. I asked the staff at the counter about oats, and she said every .single .thing .on the menu has oats in it. Both of my celiac children cannot tolerate oats. We have been in the car traveling for six hours, and had planned to eat there since it was all gluten-free. I guess I didn’t do enough research because we all walked away very disappointed and very hungry. The staff Was condescending and when I said that’s too bad, three of us have celiac and there’s nothing here that doesn’t have oats and she responded “ No, I’m sorry - have a good night” and that was it. Not an allergy friendly establishment with that kind of attitude. I wasn’t thrilled with service or the whole experience.

This place is incredible. I went with my mother, who for perhaps the first time in years was able to eat everything on the menu; this was a big deal for her. The owner was so cool and the atmosphere is amazing. Will be going back for just about every meal during our short jaunt in Charleston. It is very clean and dedicated gf and vegan!

Wow - what a find! Only wish we lived closer - but def will be on our to do list for each trip to Charleston. Crust was great and can get it prepared just about any way you want it (with exception of meatballs and chicken) owner a former New Yorker - so he knows pizza! highly recommend.

Cookies were amazing! Oatmeal brought back memories of an oatmeal cream pie. My husband and I also enjoyed waffles and a grilled cheese. Everything was so good and was gluten free and safe for those with Celiac disease. There are tables to sit at after you order or you can picjade and take with you.

It was great to dine at a fully gluten free restaurant! Staff was friendly, but we did have a very long wait. Waffles, pancakes, quesadilla were all good. Waffles and pancakes are very dense/heavy but good, especially with the butter. Cookies were the best part tho!

The entire Cafe and menu is 100% Gluten Free and Vegan. The service was amazing. The employees were kind and helpful when answering my questions. I ordered a unicorn pancake with sprinkles for my granddaughter and a side of fruit which was banana and strawberries. I ate the chicken and waffles with the macdaddy butta and maple syrup. The food was delicious and filling. And I ate later the cookie which was also delicious. They even made a customized order for my grandson who is picky.

Completely vegan and GF restaurant!! The food is super tasty and filling, and completely safe! The bread actually tastes good and they have amazing sandwiches :)

We dug into this place. Got busy with the oatmeal cream pie. The icing stuffed cookies melt in the mouth. The menu is massive. Certainly there’s something here for everyone.

I’m writing this as a warning to those with celiac who have an oat allergy. This place uses oat flour and is not safe for you. I walked in, explained I was celiac and asked if they used oats and was told it was in more or less everything.

Everything looked and sounded delicious, however. So if you do not have an oat allergy, I’d recommend giving it a try.

The whole kitchen is GF! The cookies were delicious. The vegan cheesecake was amazing. We also got a loaf of bread to take home. To top it all off we played a game of chess in the loft while enjoying our treats!

We had a great takeout lunch from Annie O’s, which was wonderful for my family with multiple food allergies. I liked my Mac Daddy Crispy Chick’n Sammie with the pesto and melty cheese. I am generally pretty skeptical about vegan cheese but I thought this was really good. I didn’t enjoy the waffle texture as much as the sandwich—this may have been because it was takeout. (And my kid loved it.) The cookies were good, a bit crumbly but we liked the Sweet and Salty Gangsta of Love and MyBuddy the best. I would definitely make a return trip here to try more things on their menu. It was great to feel safe in a totally GF/vegan environment.

The entire establishment is gluten free and vegan. Although I’m not vegan, I did have their grilled cheese sandwich and thought it was delicious! I was so excited to have a GF place with a variety of large cookies, so I got 4 to take with me. All of them have been amazing! Definitely a must stop if you love all different types of cookies!

Cute little hippie vegan & gf place. Everything is vegan & gluten free!!The young lady that greeted us was so friendly and knowledgeable and happily assured us of no cross-contamination. They are known for their cookies, which I had the ““back dat peach up” peach cobbler love child” cookie and it was fabulous. My 13yo daughter with celiac ordered “in the snick of time” jar of abundance which was gf chocolate cake with homemade peanut butter nougat and it was outstanding!! Bonus, you get to keep the glass jar. My husband ordered the “chip faced” smoothie and he wasn’t too impressed. Besides the cookies, they are also known for their cheesecakes. A bit pricey but worth it to be reassured of a gf experience.

AMAZING!!! Finding places that can accommodate gluten free (celiac) and a vegan diet are few and far between. We tried all six Sammies and loved them all. The flavors were phenomenal. We had two gf+vegan people in our party, but the rest had no restrictions, and they equally enjoyed everything.

It is always so refreshing to find a dedicated GF place. No worries. No having to explain just how sick you could get. It also happens to be vegan. I had the Fungi sammie and my daughter had the grilled cheese. They come panini grilled on Simple Kneads bread, which I had been wanting to try. Hibiscus tea without the simple syrup was perfect for two who like things a bit tart. The cookies that came with were great. I bought another kind to try also. All in all a wonderful find in Charleston.

So yummy. We had all desserts and they were delicious. Staff was super nice and accommodating! My husband does not like vegan food like me so I had to beg him to take me and he was beyond impressed with the desserts! He couldn’t believe the gelato was vegan! Go here! You won’t be disappointed! 100% gluten free and vegan so everything is GF and dairy free. So good! It seems as if most food items had nuts so I would not recommend this for someone with peanut/tree but allergies. I got the chick’n and waffles and the freedom cookie (which I think was seasonal for the Fourth of July), and my husband ordered a chick’n sandwich, lemonade, and a cookie with potato chips (sweet and salty cookie). Staff were super nice as well. Definitely would recommend.

We loved our meal at Annie O Love's. The food is not typical vegan, as there was barely a vegetable in sight. However, is WAS delicious, really delicious. My husband had the chik'en and waffles and I had the triple decker grilled "cheese" made with Simple Kneads sourdough bread. We also got a couple of cookies for the road. If I lived near this place, I am sure I would be overeating there regularly. As it is, it was a real find on a road trip with few GF options.

I have gluten and dairy allergies. There are no issues with cross contamination because everything is gluten free and vegan. I had the chicken and waffles, even though it was vegan, because I haven't had the opportunity to have it safely. It certainly wasn't the traditional taste, but it is now my favorite take out dish. I swore I was eating chicken, and the texture, flavor, and spice combination is incredible. I've gotten a few of the cookies and dessert jars, and they are amazing!

I had the chicken and waffles and it is hands down the best thing I have ever had in my mouth. The waffles had so much flavor, the vegan chicken was amazing, and the side topping it came with was amazing. I have also has the Mac daddy and that was amazing too! With this being said I am not easy to please most gf / vegan meat food is kind of bland but everything I have had from this place has so much flavor.

I stopped in and ordered the chicken sandwich (which is actually tofu), it wasn’t bad, different. I wish that they didn’t use soy cheese as I try to stay away from soy, I asked to make sure it wasn’t a cashew nuts cheese or something like that, the girl at the counter told me their cheese was soy based, it still tasted good. The cookie that came with the sandwich was great, definitely pricey for what I got but what places aren’t when you’re gluten free. I wasn’t in love with the style of food so much I didn’t usually eat vegan but it was safe so that’s always the most important thing. The desserts and bread I’d definitely go back for.
