We have this restaurant back home and I normally get the cinnamon roll French toast GF (which is to die for) but since they don’t do GF French toast here, I got the fluffiest GF pancakes and country potatoes and was so happy! Never got sick either!!

My 9 yr old son and I have celiac. I had a veggie omelette with corn grits which was great! My son had plain GF pancakes which he really liked. We both get very sick from gluten and we were completely fine hours after our meal. They said the GF bread is toasted in same toaster as gluten bread but not at the same time. I didn’t take my chances on the toast. With the pancakes they said they wipe down the griddle before using for GF pancakes. We both ate the pancakes and had no cross contamination issue. Highly recommend! The coffee was great too. Overall, it’s a nice friendly, clean place to have breakfast!

OUTSTANDING! AND gluten allergy safe! I thought about just hanging around all day and eating there for every meal. I mean, who wouldn't LOVE Bourbon Pecan (fluffy) GF Pancakes topped with banana slices? Or GF Pancakes topped with blueberries, lemon zest and goat cheese crumbles, doused with syrup? How about crab and eggs Florentine --and how about homemade breakfast sausage patties whose flavors are a vacation in itself?! I'm seriously gluten sensitive and react to the most minute amount of gluten. No reaction - either time we ate there. Service was fantastic, coffee was delish!

Mimosa!!! I really liked that they even had the drink menu marked with what was gluten free. Our waitress was awesome and very knowledgeable about preparation and cross contamination. My husband is newly diagnosed celiac so he was very nervous about travel. He had an omlete and I had gluten free bourbon pancakes. I also had the lemon blueberry mimosa!!

So good! We visited twice while in Tampa. Decent portions...actually couldn't finish. First day, got the Bourbon GF pancakes which came with 2 eggs and a few different meat choices (I got their homemade sausage). Second day, I got their bacon/chorizo omelettte. It came with grits and GF toast. The grits were okay. I would of preferred their breakfast potatoes but they said even though they're GF, they aren't 100% safe from cross contact. My family (can have gluten) enjoyed their food, too.

The food was good and they have a separate menu. The only issue I ran into was after specifying it was an allergy, my food came out with a non gluten free English muffin on the plate touching my eggs. After letting the waitress know she offered to just take it off the plate for me but I had to specify that I needed my whole meal to me remade because of cross contamination. The manager came out and apologized and brought me my food the next time around!

I got original pancakes and they were very good! The waitress did a good job with questions as well. Only complaint was that the host was very rude and wouldn’t acknowledge you speaking to him, such as when we asked for the gluten free menu. The gluten free menu itself is huge and had lots of options.
Editing my review as I came back for the second time this week. I had pancakes again and once again I loved them. This time the host was a younger gentleman and was very helpful. The waitstaff was amazing as well and my pancakes came out with toothpicks indicating gluten free. Very happy with the service and food here today.

While visiting Clearwater, we ate at the restaurant twice. The first time was excellent and was able to eat bananas fosters dollar pancakes (server put in a special request) and omelet with the city grits. Second time, English muffin came with meal, I didn’t send back just ate the part of the omelette furthest away and removed from my plate. Manager noticed and came to speak me and wanted to make it right and said they take celiac and allergies very seriously. Highly recommend and Denise is an awesome server. Delicious blood Mary’s. Note, shared toaster, but I was told their gluten friendly bread tastes really good.

Server was awesome and was familiar with GF menu items. Pancakes were phenomenal and so were the shrimp and grits. This was a treat coming from an area that doesn’t have great GF options. Felt the most freedom ordering off a menu in a while!

Don’t come for breakfast. They said the only think you can safely eat if you don’t want cross contamination is an egg.
I’m Celiac so not taking chances
Be very specific when ordering Gluten Free, I pointed at the meal on the gluten free menu and assumed the waitress saw it was from the very different looking gluten free menu however my meal was not gluten free.
Amazing. Seriously. I am gluten free, along with my two daughters, ages 8 and 4. As you can imagine, finding gf options that they want is hard. This place is amazing. They make their own gf pancakes, toast, sausage, etc.. No frozen udi’s here. My husband is not gf, and he said it was the best breakfast he has ever had. I wish I lived here so we could make this our regular place! You will not be disappointed!
Yes
The food is delicious! They do have a Gluten Friendly menu. With that said, you still have to ask about sauces and the way it is being prepared. Depending on your server, they will go out of the way to make sure you are safe. We ate here twice. The first time was busy, and the waitress seemed bothered by my questions and was not willing to ask the kitchen to prepare my meal safely. Hulk Hogan comes here...so, you may just get a chance to see him. The coffee is worth coming for...even if you do not eat anything.

Food is delicious and service is amazing. I will definitely go back when I'm in town again.
Yes
Amazing. This place has a large menu of options. Not often can I get pancakes out. Got banana foster pancakes that were the best I’ve ever had!
Yes
Delicious everything including GF pancakes that actually taste like pancakes!!!!
Yes
They are gluten friendly not good enough for celiac
No
The gluten free pancakes are good but they do not have organic maple syrup, it’s full of high fructose corn syrup. Pancakes had good taste with no syrup. They also have great fruit.
What a treat! They have a separate GF menu with lots of options. I got the GF chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. Delicious!!!
This place has a gluten friendly menu which states that there may be some cross contamination so it's not a gluten free place. For breakfast, I had the Traditional Day Starter whick was pretty good. I chose the scrambled eggs, oven baked bacon, gf grits and gf pancakes. The pancakes were ok, they fell apart and definitely needed syrup but everything else was pretty good.
Yes
Have the choice of omelettes or pancakes. Pancakes are okay. They have an aftertaste that’s not good. Friendly, but slow service. Will try again. Did not get sick.
Yes
Found a good place for good pancakes. I asked a lot of questions and double checked everything since my pancakes weren't what I ordered but they were gluten free. I am feeling fine so I think I found another place for breakfast.
Yes
Well they did warn me that this place is not great for celiac's they went very far out of their way to make sure that I had a safe wheat free experience. Both the manager and the waitress were very knowledgeable about the pancakes and the cooking process and made sure to clean the griddle before making my pancakes. The pancakes tasted so good that I confirmed with the manager that they were actually gluten-free. I didn't get sick at all. 10/10 recommend- just make sure you talk to the manager. Did the pancake trio- one bananas foster, one mixed berry and one lemon blueberry goat cheese. I will be back this week for the bananas foster one. So so good.
If you want 100% confidence, your not going to get it here. I feel like if the wait staff is the key to this. It could have been that they were busy out she could careless. Ordered as wisely as I could. So far so good.
Pancakes listed as gluten- friendly and delicious. Many egg dishes were gf. They don't claim to have dedicated space but 3 celiacs were successfully fed.
This restaurant was delicious and very knowledgeable and helpful. There was a gluten friendly menu, however the pancakes are cooked on a shared griddle so those were not safe for celiac. Any of the omelettes are safe and can be served a size of either fruit or Avocado and gluten free bread, however they do not have a safe toasted so the bread had to be untoasted. I have been serval times and always had a positive experience and did not get sick.

I always enjoy eating at Another Broken Egg. I will say I was served regular gluten pancakes twice.. once from this location and the other time a location in Destin, FL. Thankfully I have eaten their pancakes a lot to be able to see the difference in texture.. I wish they would add something to the plate or have a special plate that will make it obvious they're GF pancakes. Otherwise I've never felt sick after eating at any of the establishments. The GF pancakes taste SO GOOD. I always substitute it for one of the specialty pancakes so I can get all the yummy toppings!

Their outdoor patio is the perfect spot. We aren’t 100% sure of their cross contamination protocols so we order accordingly.

As an English family travelling around Florida with our son who has coeliac disease, we’ve been very confused by the phrase “gluten friendly “. We assumed it meant a place would provide gluten free food but when I thought about the phrase it makes no sense…..actually sounds like an establishment is friendly towards gluten. So before we sat down in this restaurant I asked how they cooked their gluten free pancakes. I was advised the mixture used for the gluten free pancakes is put directly onto the same cooking pan that has just been used for gluten containing pancakes (with no cleaning of pan routinely in between gluten & gluten free pancakes). The staff repeatedly said they were gluten friendly not gluten free. On asking they said they would clean the pancake pan prior to cooking GF pancakes (not routinely done) but we decided that there was real risk of cross contamination so decided not to eat here.
