Pretty meh, ordered specialty pancakes because you know we never get things like this. Received regular pancakes with some toppings tossed on top instead of cooked in the batter. Frozen fried potatoes. I gave half my meal to my non-GF boyfriend who got a biscuit too hard to cut with his biscuits and gravy. Pass on this place.
Very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. Separate menu and everything was delicious!
They have a dedicated gluten-friendly menu. I let the waitress know I have a gluten allergy, and she made sure they took extra precautions for me. The pancakes were AMAZING and plentiful. Service was equally as great.
They have a gluten friendly and vegetarian menu. It says on the menu there could be cross contamination so I asked alot of questions. Our server, Joe, was very knowledgeable. He understands dietary issues because he has some of his own. I ordered the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler. This comes with gluten-free bread which they toast on a grill where no other gluten is grilled. It also comes with grits but I asked if I could get a fruit cup instead and I could. It had pineapple, strawberries, grapes and blackberries. They also marked my order as an allergy.
I had the Floridian Omelette and my Grandson (a suspected Celiac) had the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes. Both were quite good! They have a gluten free menu and they flag your order so the kitchen and servers take precautions, but they don't have dedicated kitchen space or a dedicated cooktop or fryer. I got the impression that there was not a lot of training about food allergies because several people could not answer my questions.
The place itself has an industrial feel with concrete and glass walls and lots of hard surfaces which made it quite noisy so we couldn't have much conversation. It was also not real comfortable with hard wooden chairs. It does have a very nice outside dining area that I would try next time.
The food was good, and the coffee was really good. We didn't have any adverse reactions. I would be willing to try it again, but I would sit outside where I could hear the people I came with and the chairs might be a bit more comfortable.
