Had a cross contamination reaction after eating here. I had a GF arepa and a GF cookie. The cross contamination might have been from the cookie, as I don’t believe they are baked in an entirely GF kitchen. Maybe just avoid the cookies to be safe.
Best lunch I've ever had in Toronto. Almost the entire menu is gluten free except the fried plantains, and there are so many different choices for meat and vegetarian fillings. The sauces (Spicy Red, Sweet Green pepper, and Garlic Aioli) are amazing, and the Arepas are filling and delicious. I had the Grilled Chicken Breast Arepa (with tomatoes and herb mayo) because beans and red meat usually bother my stomach, and it was so good! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait until I can go again!
