Arepa Cafe was a wonderful place. Delicious, and very celiac friendly. Unfortunately they have now closed. RIP Arepa Cafe.

Had a cross contamination reaction after eating here. I had a GF arepa and a GF cookie. The cross contamination might have been from the cookie, as I don’t believe they are baked in an entirely GF kitchen. Maybe just avoid the cookies to be safe.

Only things celiacs can’t have are from the fryer. Everything was awesome and service was great and knowledgeable.

Best lunch I've ever had in Toronto. Almost the entire menu is gluten free except the fried plantains, and there are so many different choices for meat and vegetarian fillings. The sauces (Spicy Red, Sweet Green pepper, and Garlic Aioli) are amazing, and the Arepas are filling and delicious. I had the Grilled Chicken Breast Arepa (with tomatoes and herb mayo) because beans and red meat usually bother my stomach, and it was so good! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait until I can go again!

The best arepa I’ve ever had. Lovely staff. They don’t have a dedicated fryer, but most of the menu is safe for celiacs.

Great place, staff are super nice, food is tasty and delicious. I've eaten there many times and never had a reaction. Most of the items on the menu are gluten free, except a few.

All of the Arepas (sandwiches) are gluten-free. They also have gluten-free cookies. The fryer is not dedicated, so they advised me to not have anything with plantain.
